Thanks for the reviews. I am a Tascam fan, going back to the days of 4 track tape recorders. And yes I still have it, and yes it still works. I just got a DP008 analog recorder (8 tracks) and am anxious to get up to speed on it. I prefer the warmer tone over digital but am open to anything that works. Have a great weekend!

I was an avid Tascam fan of the Portastudio’s. Starting with the cassette version.

Hey Deb, I've been following your channel since your Boss VE-8 videos, and this just popped up in my recommendations. Anyway, you need to check out the new Zoom R4 Multitrak that just came out. I just got my hands on one and it blows everything else away for recording music. It has a built in mic as well as two XLR and quarter inch inputs. It is 32-bit float recording so you don't need to worry about input levels, and you can record, mix and normalize the tracks on the device itself. Best of all it is only $200.

I ordered the r12 last week when it was on sale. Still hasn’t arrived. I love Zoom products.
