Børresen M6 Speakers, and Aavik Electronics at SWAF 2024

When a pair of speakers sells for more than half a million dollars, there are high expectations for performance. The Børresen X6 speakers ($550,000/pair) are a perfect example. Demoed at the Southwest Audio Fest in Dallas, these speakers exhibited astonishing agility and seemingly boundless dynamics.
The electronics and cables for this stellar system feature Aavik components: C-880 preamplifier, P-880 power amplifier, and SD-880 streamer/DAC. This is a natural pairing of speakers and electronics, given that Børresen and Aavik are owned by the same parent company, Audio Group Denmark. The same goes for the Ansuz cables; they are part of the Audio Group Denmark family.
