Great demo. It should be noted that the cross cut sled is great quality but it doesn't really work on my Dewalt DWE7491 as the top is too small and hangs over the left side of the top...a lot. If folks are finding this video researching the sled they should be aware.
Thanks for pointing that out. I’m not sure if there is a different crosscut sled available for the job site style table saws. I use this crosscut sled way more than I originally thought I would 👍🏻
Great demo. Thank you, man.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for mentioning how lightweight it is. That is what sold me and currently it’s $149
That was a huge plus for me as well. I’ve used the crosscut sled a TON since I made this video. Absolutely worth it IMO!
Great video
Thanks!
Those are nice products from Rockler and I think there pretty reasonable on the prices too , compared to others out there…. Thanks for sharing….
I agree! The price might be just a tad steep but the quality you can make with these jigs is worth the investment IMO!
There's a ton of taper jig videos here on the UA-cam. I'm surprised you didn't look them up.
I wanted this video to focus on Rockler options.. you’re right though. I’ll probably make a DIY taper jig video at some point. I absolutely love the crosscut sled though 👍🏻
I love that rockler cross cut sled . I've never seen the tape jig before. I'm thinking this is a useful tool for making table legs.
The crosscut sled it awesome! I’ve been using it a bit before I made this video and it is so easy to use. It is also super lightweight which makes it much easier to grab than my giant homemade one
It is also a great way to join boards without a jointer.
Would love to know the make and model of your table!
The table saw? It’s a 3HP SawStop PCS

Why, oh why, did I buy a Ryobi table saw!!! I love these jigs but can use absolutely NONE of them 😡🤬😢
Never too late to grab another table saw!
@@mmcc_woodshop6288 have to make more than what Black Boots Woodworks is pulling in, at the moment...eventually, yes.
If you can't make all of these jigs yourself and save yourself tons of money, you probably shouldn't be woodworking. The quality of Rockler products is very hit or miss, and the items in this video mostly miss.
Thanks for sharing your input 👍🏻 I’ve definitely gotten the value out of the crosscut sled, I use it very frequently 😆
