Thanks for taking the time to post this. I have a wide band on my drag car and thought was cool to see it applied to these little engines. Just goes to show these engines are still basic four stroke engines despite their smaller size. Will one of those work on the predator 212’s? Not too familiar the Tilly’s.
Thanks! Yes it will work on a Predator .
Thank you!@@Black66
honey wake up new black66 video just dropped
No need to holler, the open header will wake her up!
Really happy to see the O2 sensor. Definitely useful data! Not sure if the ratio would change under load, but you could try applying the brake a bit to see. The injection carb was probably extremely rich with the stock air cleaner and muffler. You should go back to the stock carb and tune it to the same A/F mixture and see how it compares with the intake and header. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Yeah I was wondering the same thing.
Your Amazon review brought me here. Thanks for writing that review. It lead me to this video. I bought the AFR kit and am now using it with my scooters
Glad it was helpful!
You are the man, I always enjoy your videos, and now I desperately want to do this setup and play just like I do on the real streetbikes. I don't even care if its faster, i just want to tinker and watch the gauge.
Fantastic content.
Thanks for watching the videos!
I know in car applications you don't want the o2 sensor that close to the end of the exhaust pipe, the engine pulse draws a little fresh air in and can mess with the readings, just something to consider. Love your vids buddy!
B66, Awesome content! That mechanical fuel injection is a game changer. More please!
Great video! Crazy on how different the speed is. The bike sounds amazing.
awesome video as always and one I'm really glad you made. I have seen these little MFI setups and from the looks of it, for a mildly modded engine, they would be a slick way to go. I'll say it again, you have the best mini bike content on here and should have 30 million subs, thanks for the vids.
Thanks! I think It might work out well with a mild build. Thanks for watching the videos!
Dang Black! Great video and what a way to start out the New Year! You are a genius creating that exhaust box test gadget. LOL Looks like the bike ran great and the part was super easy to install, even I could do that! LOL Can't wait to see the next one 💯💯
Have been tempted to try one in the past.
Dude, that is very cool for a crude fuel injection system! I cant wait to see whats next.👍🤔
With a wideband you're halfway to efi, then you can really tweak out some power. Slap on a 36-2 timing wheel with a hall effect, a motorcycle fuel pump and injector, throttle body w/ TPS and a coil on plug then you can run it on a microsquirt or speeduino. Build a basic fuel and timing map then just ride it and data log. Software can analyze that and build you a map thats as good as the data you feed it.
O2 sensor gonna be a game changer for projects!
LoL
You do realize they are nothing new and just a tool has I hope.😂
Nice! I got to get one 💥
Great video and info. The MFI works great ,lots of peer and the there is the extreme cool factor. Got to get one of those lol
I found this to be very helpful info. Hoping you can do some more testing with porting, cams and valve springs
I LOVE MINIBIKES🔥🔥🔥
@@WalkerSmallEnginePerformancetrue statement
This is a excelent video thank ypu
Those Tilly injectors seem like they would be awesome for a low maintenance build for kids or people that don’t want to mess with re-jetting a performance carb. Not exactly cheap and you can get a little more performance for the same price, but it’s not bad at all.
Great video dude! Always wondered how one of these would perform👍
Thanks!
Wonder how it would perform on a built motor with a cam, stiffer springs etc…
@@andrewkuhtz I'll have to do a video on that.
Whaaattttt!!! That’s dope! I forgot I seen that on the website. I was wondering about it but I was worried that it wouldn’t be enough for the builds I’m doing
Supposed be great up to a little more than a stage 1 I have heard.
Never wanted to spend the money on a hunch.
Yeah I had a feeling too. Nothing that looks stock can do more then stock with jets
@@racerothery2716Theres some decent non epa stock style carbs I knew worked well.
Black got it working well enough to make me order one finally.
Not sure what inspired you but this is great!
Oh man . I’m gonna have to spend some more money now. That looks dope😅. Awesome video man. No jets I’d just what I need .
Just a quick tip, tack a chain kick plate on your left rear frame support. Iv seen chains chew through the tubing over time. I recently just got a rascal frame that had over half the tube surface sheared away.
This is the video ive been looking for thanks man! By any chance do you have a video on how to install a stage 1.5 kit from gopoweraports on the 212 tillotson?
Thanks . I have quite a few videos on installing a stage 2 kit and different variations of cams, carbs etc in the playlists.
This is an awesome modification! How would this thing do on a modded engine with a cam, stiffer springs, etc? Love all of your videos! Thank you for your knowledge!
Could you do a short video on the wide band? I have one but could never seem to get it to work right.
It would be cool to see you test a p-open grind cam for a predator 212
Most of that performance up lift I think can be contributed to the exhaust header.
Yeah for sure! Like in the $100 Predator video the bike gained 5 MPH just by adding a header pipe. ua-cam.com/video/m8aOLmuzlE8/v-deo.html
It’s nice not to have to guess at AFR so when jetting this should really become interesting to see where your best runners are on AFR and even cooler, is there more power to be had? Go for AFR around 14.3 to 14.8. You’ll find at some point if too lean, the pipes start turning blue. I’m at +30ft eleven here. Curious what is optimal at 3700ft elevation where you are. Also with FI, you can fine tune AFR on days where Barometer pressure varies. Also upcoming. BLACK WILL add boost to FI and get 24hp from his 80cc minis😊
thanks for the great content, what 02 sensor do you have? ive been thinking about doing this. and what meter did you buy?
would the efi thing work on a predator 212?
Hey black66 will this tfb fit on a predator 212
Better valve springs would be the next mod? Id like to see how fast this thing can push these motors.
Would doable video with the a full stage 1 and fuel injection
Does anyone know why my mini bike predator 212cc takes off as soon as I start it after replacing the stock carb with a vm22
Have you tried a tollitson carb. Like the old racing go cart carbs? It’s the same concept but so easily adjustable. Like a HL series tollitson. My Tecumseh star flat head came stock with it. Clements racing still sells bullet ones I think. They are insanely nice and make tons of HP
We used to use the Tillotson double pumper carb back when we raced Karts . Have some pics in the community tab
Hopefully I can make enough $ by spring to get a coleman B200rsv. It has everything on it minus the upgraded air filter and exhaust.
@Black66 do you think these have enough fuel for a billet rotating assembly 212 w/ a mod 2 cam
Maybe. I just did a video with a 252 cam and it did ok. I'll put it out there soon.
Man, looks like theyre hitting you hard with the chemtrails too.
How did you wire up the wide band? Amd do you recommend the new carb?
What app does he use for speed tests??
where did u get the mini bike?
Maybe I missed it but do you have a link to that afr setup please.
Yes, I put a link in the description of the video. Thanks!
Is there a link for that fuel injection carb cuz I can’t find it anywhere
Yes, the links for the fuel injection are in the description of the other fuel injection video. ua-cam.com/video/f9iwvvnVoCQ/v-deo.html
Can you use this carb on a predator 212 hemi?
Yes
I have noticed that a lot of people try to gravity feed them, I just wonder if that is why they don't get them to work well.
As long as the bowl is full no need to use a pump. We raced a stage 4 , 236cc in the GPS 180 without a pump with zero issues. The bike was super fast. Check out the video. ua-cam.com/video/M0HLe8bb6kE/v-deo.html
@@Black66 This makes me question what I thought was going on with my bike.
It acts like the fuel pressure isn't stable.
I am guessing I need a bigger pilot jet or the float is acting up.
hemi head Predator 212 (newest gen I imagine, got it last summer).
Stage 1 stock non epa carb with a the fuel screw.
Little 3s lipo battery will power that WB02 easy and make it portable. the AF will change with a load on it. Be cool to see if you can run E85 on that mech inj setup. Or methanol.
Meth isn't a pour and go thing.
I doubt this would run rich enough without modifying it.
E85 is questionable imo even.
A lot of work to get a benefit from either really.
@@NubsWithGuns E85 requires 30% more fuel than an optimized “gas” tune. I don’t think that’s hard or super demanding. I run e98 simply by drilling the jets. And I also run a WB02 on my mini bike to dial it in so I can dry shot 8hp worth of N20. Its typical to see about a 5% gain in power just from going to e85 with zero other changes. More if you were knock limited on the previous fuel and can add timing.
@@AdamOpheim Not sure if that was agreeing with me or what.
You just showed the extra work need to run alcohol.
$40!🤯
🤠👍
Nice my gd has 212 stage 1 w zip tie 55mph but her new razor 16 way smoother😂
Electric bikes are smooth. Check out this smooth bike ua-cam.com/video/Ydhffwsk-SE/v-deo.html
The factory exhaust is so restrictive it is killing your performance. I tried it with a 22 mm slide and there was only a slight difference.
Check out the $100 Predator build video for a direct exhaust comparison. ua-cam.com/video/m8aOLmuzlE8/v-deo.html
Does it work on the predator 212?
Yes it does.
@@Black66 thanks
Hey bud… I’ve got a great upgrade for your minibikes that you won’t find anywhere else. I would love to send you one in exchange for a shoutout on your few next videos. How can I get in touch with you to discuss? Email? Thanks! -Glenn
Put Amazon 250cc replacement dirt bike engine on it then you can have lights
What's up with cutting glasses.
Major eye issues! I wish I had great eye sight . If you do , you are one of the lucky ones. Thanks for watching!
Check it under load.. bet it’s a lean.
🚵♀️🚵♀️
Shouldn't set a battery on concrete.. keep up the good work.
Thanks! I thought the same but was reading it really doesnt matter anymore. Setting a battery on concrete doesnt hurt the newer tech batteries. Check out this article...www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/general-science-you-asked/concrete-truth-about-batteries-stored-concrete
Now do real EFI.
I think throttle body is more appropriate than fuel injection. This hack is a waste of time and money.
I would say none of mini biking is a waist of time if you are having fun. That is what its all about.
Can I put it on a stage 2. Bullet rod? High comp piston, lots of headwork?
I'll find out...
It is actually a Briggs and Stratton. Do you think it's worth twenty dollars
O2 seems to close to end of exhaust
I was at the scrapyard with cans. I found a brand new 8 horsepower motor. The dude told me I could have it for 20 bucks. Is it worth my time put in money and making ithe fastest Thanked in breastmer besides my Mini Bike, It has the key way.
And the adapter from a 3/4 to a 5/8. It looks brand new. I do not know the brand.
