- Today I actually decided to dust off the ol doodlebug and introduce it to the channel. She's gone through a lot of configurations and she's rough around the edges but i plan on reviving her and making her better than ever!

i got the same exact setup but i’m completely stock with a 60T sprocket and a 14t clutch and a vm22 mikuni carb i hit 53 MPH Completly stock just a mikuni vm22 carb

Where did you get those zip ties?
cool bike, how are you liking that header pipe? How do you get it to stay still mine like vibrates off the bike…..
i use split lock washers with the nuts. haven’t had an issues with it vibrating off.
I just got a hemi and everyone is saying you have to clearance for a cam did you have to do anything when installing the hot265
yes i did. you have to clearance the small ears on the crankshaft. the cam lobes like to smack them. i just wrapped the crank journal in painters tape so that way i don’t scour the journal while i grind down the ears

Where can I get one of those chain guards and does it come with the bolts?
3dmotorsport.net/collections/replacement-clutch-parts/products/14-clutch-guard and no the bolts don’t come with it, you can just get some 5/16-24 x 1 bolts from home depot, that’s what i did.

26 lb springs with the stock retainers
What header pipe is that?
underseat header from omb warehouse
upgrade to a 14 or 15t clutch you’ll see 60 maybe 65
Get you a split sprocket it will def increase your top speed
yes! will be looking into one. will def be easier to change out gearing to test different gear ratios
