Kinda reminds me a lot of how the lord of the rings tabletop players paint their minis. Very dark wash and just enough clean up to bring out the raised edges. Very nice looking forward to more videos!
Very keen to try your clanrat scheme, may I ask the specific colours? You say corresponding colour , are they the ones listed in the box guide or just tones I feel right for skin, fur etc?

What type of white spirit/solvent do you use to clean up the oil washes? And nice paint job btw
thank you, i got national brand odourless oil solvent from the art store, nothing special
i have a ton of these but they are base coated in contrast paint. Can i still use this method (the oil mix) over them?
sure you can, use one to test consistancy so as to get dark shadows while keeping the rich contrast in the raised parts

more like the ones you decide you like, i used different colors for all my rats as if they picked up random rags and scraps
