Yes, please, speedy stormcast is something I'm keenly interested in.
Leadbealcher spray. Some blue for the capes and stuff, gold for highlights and stuff and some brown for pouches and stuff.
Always down for a good Stormcast painting video
My army painting strategy has always been this: Troops get a very basic paint job that's good when viewed from standing above the table. Special units get a good paint job with some flash and impressiveness. Characters get Attention. I like this philosophy, as it draws the eyes to the cooler units in my army and makes them stand out more on the table. It would also mean you'd pay less attention to that large block of marauders I'm about to roll your flank with.
Every imini
The more games of Warhammer I play, the more I realize this is the way to go. I rarely pay attention to someone’s army other than “Oh nice colors! let’s play”. Great ideas here Adam 👍
I'll be looking forward to seeing you paint the Stormcast models soon. Enjoy the new kits.
Definitely some speed-cast painting
Really enjoyed your Necron painting tutorial with 9th ed. 40k. Awesome to see you aligning these videos with the big launch boxes.
The one major thing that has stopped me from playing skaven is all the small rats to paint.
That Under the Dice shirt. One of the best pieces of merch in the hobby!!! And made by really cool dudes.
I was glad to pick it up at AdeptiCon - great group of guys. Thanks for watching!
I'm also not a Stormcast guy, but I clearly would enjoy your painting video tackling them. 🔥
A Stormcast speed paint video would be very nice. Always into watching those types of videos from a variety of creators. Best way to learn!
Thanks for the Grim Black precoat for metallics hint! I have been wondering how to perk up my metallic speed paint looks. This was a GREAT episode...fun to watch how YOU approach a small warband paint job. I have "sticks" (for "Paint Sticks") of fighters for Frostgrave that I printed, zenathaled, waiting for speed paint. Watching you do this has inspired me to grab another stick and get it painted.
Yes sir I think doing a speed paint tutorial for the storm cast models would be awesome .......I'm not into age of sigmar but having any painting tutorial helps me out immensely ........great video sir
yes-Yes Adam-thing! Rumour on loud-skweeker is Vince-thing painting each clanrat to golden Verminlord standard.
Well, yeah - Vince will do that, of course. But the rest of us may not be interested. Thanks for watching!
Ok, SO, I mixed up my own "juice" not having ever heard of this concept before. Been using it for about a year now and it's crazy how it works. Crazy to figure out this is a thing better painters figured out and were using not just a hack idea i had that seemed to work out.
I'd like to see your take on Stormcast painting, and a few more tutorials in general. But not exclusively tutorials. Just keep being you and we'll watch. 😁
Love your tutorials. They are very practical.
Thanks Uncle Adam its always nice to get tutorials from you. Most videos blitz through the material so quickly its hard to keep up or even see what they are doing. Also shout out Sonic Sledgehammers Sledge Sauce/Sonic Tonic/Marine Juice/whatever name it ends up with, that stuff is amazing, especially when you start trying other mixes of different washes instead of light tone/reikland fleshshade.
Hell yeah Adam, this is sick.
Good to have a timely reminder to use speedy techniques! Really enjoy these efficiency videos.
great job!!! And yes on the Stormcast
Some great patterns. So different from the old days
Brown and green combo is amazing- I played around with it a couple of years ago and it inspired me to paint an entire Tyranid army with green carapace and brown flesh. I'm digging the Skaven love!
They look great. Always enjoy your channel.
Those starter boxes have come with so many clan rats I still have some unpainted from an old world starter set from over a decade ago. It would be cool if I painted some rats with speed paints like these and have them side by side with some decade old paint styles.
Well done. Good job.
Those Clan rats look awesome! Thanks for the super cool tutorial uncle Atom! Like button smashed! :)
Thanks for completing my Friday, Uncle Adam, have a great weekend.
Great content as always! Thanks so much
I love all Tabletop Minions videos!
Great ideas - very tempted to get this Boxed set! I love Skaven. And should be able to use most of this set in Warcry.
I really want to do black clan rats with yellow cloth. Thanks for the video I know Skaven are your favourite faction 😄.
Love the work brother ❤👍🔥
I'm 3/20 of the old version clanrats. But slowly painting by hand is what got me into Warhammer in the first place, so I'm in no rush.
Some of these old rat sculpts though.. oof
I also need all my ratboys to have unique fur colours and patterns
they look awesome
"I could probably get these done in two hours"
Me looking at the 10 model kit bashed scout marine kill team I've been working on and thinking how much time I've spent on them this week alone .😅
But this is also my first squad like this and I think I have like...10 colors on a single model?
Great video! Love how the models came out!
First, those clan rats 🐀 look really good. One day I too will find my purpose and rhythm in miniature painting. Second, glad you did not film the beginning of this project, I seem to always over film things and have 3 hours of video to sort through to make a 15 minute video and of course I want over an hour of footage to upload and nobody would watch it. Great video sir, have a great weekend. You loved going to Kinkos in the day, a good movie to watch on Tubi is (Kopy Kings) if you need to relax for 90 mins and laugh.
I've been rewatching your streams on twitch, Adam and been in love with the easy vibrant green you came up with.
Great looking rats! I really wished to point that out in the chat only to realise it wasnt live 😅
Really like how you play with so many different speedpaint color tones to achieve nice and easy results.
I would love to see a 'How to speedpaint Stormcast' video! That would be excellent.
I am currently working on some older Skaven with plans to work on the new ones when they release. This video helped a lot, thanks!
I like this so much! I don't play Stormcast, but I'm thinking of doing a silver with a turbo dork or speed paint for greenish armor in my Drukhari Kill Team. I think that may be similar to a gold Stormcast method. Great tips. Thank you!
yes, SCE speed paint, would love it
Looks like a fun set & hopefully I can get one eventually. Lots of fun tips in here for painting them. I think for the eyes I might have a simple idea with my 40k Orks I found just a simple wooden toothpick, dip in paint to get the eyes quick with a little glow to it.
Athough reading the video title too fast had me reading it as 'paint skaventide clean rats fast' to be rather amusing mental image of them getting painted in a very anti-grimdark color scheme.
I'm going to painting a Woldwrath for my Circle Orboros army, got it primed and ready.
Definitely do a storm cast video. I have some original 90’s Skaven I’ve painted very tempting to get some more and the big box sets are the most cost effective why to buy
Yes, Speed Gold please. I find that really is very time consuming. And although the speed metallic golds cover extremely well, they don’t provide that much contrast (except maybe hoard bronze)
This was great.
Another brilliant speed paint tutorial thank you and it's greatly appreciated and I would love to see you paint the storm cast too please.
I've always liked the grim nature of Skaven, they're the reason I'm seriously contemplating Skaventide tomorrow
I can't believe those guys took you 3ish hours, that quality would take me a whole day
I love seeing the Clanrats get some love. I'm painting up my Flesh Eater spearhead currently, so my Cryptguard are getting a pretty similar, quick and dirty treatment.
I like the tutorials. I've just gotten an airbrush and I would appreciate some videos on best use cases and small vs big miniatures using an airbrush.
Those Skaven are a big improvement over the prior clanrats! Wow, I'm tempted. Nice step-by-step for speedpainting them. I might use this on my unpainted clanrats...
Very handy tutorial
Great video - would love to see you do some Stormcast too!
Another great video, Uncle Atom! I'd love to see your approach to speed painting the Stormcast half of the Skaventide box.
very nice quality looking clan rats.
I will definitely be using this as a way to get my skaven ready for some games of Spearhead!
Yes. Totally down for the best tasting paint for miniatures review.
Skaven are my favorite, but I do like Stormcast too...I'd love to see your take on them as well.
Let's speed paint those Stormcast!
Those rats look awesome! Would love to see a stormcast version too
Troy (Sonic Sledgehammer) has recently made a video in which he updated his wash recipe in the hopes that one of the ingredients doesn't get reformulated or discontinued in the next few years 🤣
I saw it, more good stuff. Thanks for watching!
Pleasd do you have a link to this video or the recipe. I did not find the video for this wash. Thamk you very much.
I'm waiting for Stormvermin, YES YES!!
Nice job on the rats, hanging out with Vince is rubbing off on you! Stormcast painting video would be interesting. Nice video, keep up the good work.
Though I’m not a Stormcast fan either I think a Speedpaint guide would be useful and applicable to other types of model and I’d love to see your method for them.
Any Speedpaint tips are always welcome.
I was just gonna do two tone OSL Warp stone green glow followed by the light of the moon.
I'm very very slowly crawling my way to the point of being able to play Skaven in 4th and have taken the idea of just getting any rat man models from any distributor I like to make them all look actually different. Generally kind of intimidated by modern GW designs just because every model is so complex so I lack any of the actual new Skaven, but do have a bunch of Oldhammer Skaven to let them keep doing their little chaotic things among the mortal realms.
That said I really liked your finished results so I might try picking up some of the paints listed and try following your technique for the Clan Skyre rats
Yes do Stormcast!
I really enjoy more the tutorial format
According to the views - most people don’t. 😉 Thanks for watching!
PLEASE SpeedPaint the Stormcast! I would love your take and everyone I've seen painting the stormy goes for maximum effort.
I would not mind a “Kwik n Ez Stormbros” video. :)
Yes speedpaint tutorials are awsome..
YES-YES!
Speed painting stormcast feels like it will boil down to apply speed paint metallic from Army painter, profit
Not complaining I love the metallic speedpaints and just need to wait for them to come in stock with my local before I can pick up more 😂
Crap, Unks, now you make me want to get this box. Luckily I believe the presence of the Stormcasts will firm up my resolve to give it a miss.
❤ stormcast is next logical step 😂
I'd like to see a stormcast tutorial
I love how you assume I have friends
Stormcast speed paint please! :)
Please make a stormcast speedpaint video
O snap first!
Read "Clean Rats" and kept hearing "Clam Rats"... 😅
Nice rats!
Speedy Stormcast should translate to Kharadron Overlords
Thank you for the video. One thing I’m curious about- when do you varnish? I do this after all non metallic paints are done. Doing the metallic after the varnish. I’m curious as to your method. Thanks for another cool video to start the weekend
I usually matte varnish at the end - if it dulls the metallics too much then I might touch them up a bit after. Thanks for watching!
cool rats
This video brought to you by...
;)
Everybody loves the rats
Not sure I'd classify Aly Morrison as "some guy that used to work at Forgeworld." Legend is probably better considering his many contributions...
Speed paint stormcast
"You look good in Rags,
With dirt in your hair"
Shining Silver is too shiny for Skaven, I use Rough Iron and/or Weapon Bronze on metal parts for them.
I use Shining Silver and then a bit of wash afterwards. Thanks for watching!
stormcast painting please
Question: Does anyone know? 4:45 is that Ghillie Dew, Charming Chartreuse or Desolate Brown or? Love the shade
i go storm bros i want that dragon
first ! but also I love you vids... always great content and we really appreciate it~!
First second you mean mwahaha
@@michaelw1303 pfft I was before you bud... sorry for your loss
Select newest and mine comes up last, this is the first time I've commented on something in like 10 years give me this lol
Any tips on using speed paint metallics? I really love the finish, but they're so watery and sometimes hard to control
Just don’t overload your brush - I find that’s the main thing. Thanks for watching!
I love marine juice! Have you found a recipe thay works with the warpaints fanatic line? I have not succeeded yet, so would love to get your thought if you have any 🙏
Also, yes pleaseto Stormcast speedpaint 👍
Do you mean a recipe that works over Fanatic paints? Because any recipe will work. Or do you mean made FROM the Fanatic line? I’ve had some ideas I’ve wanted to experiment with again recently. Thanks for watching!
@@tabletopminions I mean a recipe made from products available in the new fanatic line.
I have considered trying the new dark skin tone with some speedpaint medium as it is quite dark but with a splash of red/purple somewhat similar to the original recipe.
Would love to know your ideas 👍
That's one I might be able to field. ;D You'll actually get a *very* similar result to the Marine Juice mix by mixing Speedpaint Medium and Strong Skin Tone 1:1. It's a little more brown and not quite as warm, so a drop or two of either a red or even another flesh tone might help, but the application and way it adheres is broadly similar.
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio Thanks for answering! I love that the two of you who are both some of my favourite channels follow and interact with eacheother this much 👌🤩
Just to be sure, do you mean Strong skin tone, or dark skin tone? You write strong skin tone, but I would not have thought that one dark enough. But you are definately the expert!
Edit. I want to use on my dark angels and was hoping it would be dark enough to work over the dark green, but still ha e the "colour" to work over the bone as well 🤞
10:15 may I know what speed paint did you use for the green robes on the very left model uncle atom?
Please paint stormcast pink.
We need Princess Peach Spearhead.
🍑 на острие? 😍 - это Вас заводит? Не уверен, что детям можно в такие игры играть. 😂
