Pani (bun) recipe | Milk bun recipe | Soft & Fluffy

I grew up having these buns every Sunday after church. We would gather around, eating the buns and sipping it down with a hot cup milo. The softness, fluffiness and milky/buttery flavour is what makes it so tasty you want to go back for more (seriously). One of my favourite childhood recipes, I hope you all enjoy! Malo!

Ingredients:
Milk paste
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup milk
4 tablespoon flour
Dough
1 cup milk (room temperature)
1 tablespoon yeast
3 cups of flour (sifted)
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoon milk powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
Note:
Additional flour (1/4 cup of flour or more) to help knead dough

Do you use bread or cake flour for the buns? And is this the same as the island yellow buns but without the colouring? Love your channel by the way. Learning a lot from your videos. Kia orana from the Cook Islands by way of Hawke's Bay...
