Thank you so much for speaking up about the racism in our country - I agree with everything you said; I'm a white italian and I will never experience what you went through but growing up I noticed how prejudiced and racist a lot of (white) italians are, especially here in the North. I'm trying to learn more about the struggles of black Italians, so thank you again for giving your perspective. I truly hope that things will change and that Italy (and Europe) will become more open minded and accepting. You are no less italian than me, of course, or anyone else living in this country. Buona giornata!

Relating to the job market you need to consider that roughly 1 resident in 60 is of African descent(not all of them are black) and most of them are not competitive for the already harsh market for the natives. This is either because they are not here legally, their education is statistically on the lower end and ultimately racism plays a role since it's easier that a potential employer for low end jobs might have racist views. That been said I returned after 10 years abroad and whilst in the 2010s was quite difficult to see mixed couples around, even in cities like Rome or Milan, I do notice a lot of mixed couples and kids just like mine. I think something's been changing for the better.

I’m sorry that you had to go through racism. I’ve had to go through racism myself, but completely the opposite of you and I’ve been to a few countries and there’s racism in every country unfortunately
No matter what the color is if you are white, black, brown yellow, doesn’t matter everybody’s racist and why you say that you prefer black men you sound racist to yourself it might not be the case but people get interpreted that way very very easily especially in this world of confusion as my mom would say rest in peace that color of the skin does not matter what matters is the heart of the person. Blessings.

Nana, I am so sorry people have said your not an Italian in the comments you are, your more of an Italian than I will ever be. I felt that was very disrespectful what people were saying in the comments, skin colour has nothing to do with citizen ship or birth right which is rightfully yours as you were born there you are an Italian. My mothers family immigrated to Australia many years ago and my mother and her sister were the only ones out of her siblings to be born here, though they all call themselves Australians not Italians. Yes they have Italian heritage but they do not call themselves Italians as they chose to live and became citizens of Australia. Anyone that choses to become a citizen and have children in that country they chose, are from then that country no one can tell you otherwise. 💓💓💓

I don't know people just like traveling and living where they find a suitable lifestyle. I think the main reason people complain so much about racism in the USA is because of the media and very small percentage of people complain to other people world wide, overall the entire people of America have people from the entire world and people look bad on any group who says things like white this black that when talking in a bad way and not addressing there own color of people like themselves. So for instance here in America people like to be many ways introverted piece of mind not want attention and don't like others almost yelling when they talk. Ok yet other people like to be extroverted always attention seeking and talking so load you can hear them clear when not even near. Overall America has mixed people of any color and family nomatter where you go in America, no one listens to negative people anymore, that's why negative people are so jealous, almost everyone is mixed in some type of way in America nowdays.

I agree and can relate to an extent. Italy is racist or at least has racial problems not to mention historical racism, including internal (excluding non-white Italians/non-Italians). Some Northern Italians are racist towards those of us even with Southern Italian ancestry. Anyways, I liked and dated many women who were non-white including black women and there are definitely Italian guys who are open to dating black women or other non-white women, even if not all of them. Anyways sorry for any racism you had to go through in my grandfather's country of Italy. I'm actually Italian-American living in America, though I identify ethnically as Italian/Southern Italian/Meridionale.

Gli italiani sono contro questo sistema malato che si è creato ed erroneamente incolpano gli Africani e non i politici.

By the way, I know, they dislike mass immigration and Muslims. The issue is learning the language and the local culture and often immigrants =refuse= to do that.

    Hi
I enjoyed your video. You are nice looking and you got class. Keep in mind. Black men don't know how to treat and appreciate black women. Black men rather praise other races of women. You don't wanna become an angry black woman. Give good men a chance that would be good for you. Don't waste your time. There are some good black men. However, evaluate what you are looking for in a guy. I am a black woman. In most of my experiences with black men they don't wanna take a black woman on a respectable date or wine and dine them. I am a decent black woman. I don't move fast with guys and I don't do drugs. Most black men won't take a black woman out for coffee. They try to treat all women the same Just like a damn prostitute. I am classy and respectable therefore , I expect better treatment from men because I love and respect myself Guess what they hate women who have standards. All black women are not the same. You can't treat them all like whores. The decent women would be offended by the disrespect of.our men. Keep doing what you do. Be ambitious and be different. I shine because of how I carry myself as a woman. All races of women are jealous of me. I am average looking. I keep my dignity as a woman. It's not only about your cute face and shape. As a black woman you need to have a head on your shoulder. In other words you need something good on the inside going on for you. You'll stand out more than drop dead attractive women. In addition don't let other women provoke you to become angry and lose yourself by cursing.

I agree with the energy part: You don't have to say that you are biased, I feel the energy about it... To say that the whole of the western society is racist, which could not be farer from the truth, I agree that people like you should better search for another place to live. The vast majority of the things you have, own, use every day, even the rights that you gained over time have been made by white men. You don't like that??? Then you should be coherent with what you believe and search for a "better" place to live.
You are no better than other testimonies I saw on youtube: you project YOUR individual interpretations of other people's behavior and you expect us to consider them FACTUAL and objectively true. And yeah, people observe you if you look different than the majority. That's perfectly normal. As I might observe a girl with the head shaved or a guy with make up or a dog that walks... And yes, you might not be considered Italian.. because Italians are white on average. The fact that I just got the citizenship of the country where I live doesn't change my genes. You get that?
And it is pretty annoying that you always refer to "white" people. Like... hello! White is the majority of the country. From the psychological point of view, it is clear that you well try to separate yourself from "them". That tells one thing: that you do not belong there. You are better off within a black community? Who stops you? Go and look for that. As you rightly pointed out, you would like to be chased by black men, right?
Your reasoning path is poor and you should definitely try to spot your bias and incoherence, before you "spit on the plate you eat from". I hope it helps :)

    • @simplyshama

racism is systemic so she is correct when she makes a broad statement like "society". it's not just western society, a lot of the world is fundamentally racist. even me, a black person in europe who hasn't experienced a lot of racism, knows she is 100% correct. but of course, how would you know? it's not your experience. that's why it's important to listen rather than be on the defense when it comes to things you can't relate to. if you yourself are not racist, you would have no issue accepting that this is an unfortunate reality.

    • @biapac7849
      @biapac7849 2 роки тому

@@simplyshama I think that black people, asians, europeans, everybody is fundamentally racist (and this phenomena has biological roots). But when nowadays we say "racism" it is often implied (white vs black) and the same goes when we say "systemic racism". Well, if meant in this latter meaning, this statement is just stupid and utterly wrong.
Systemic racism is no fact: it is an opinion. In fact, no proof of "systemic racism" exists (find one and I'll believe you, but be careful 'cause I know all the relevant academic literature on the topic).
So when you talk about it as a fact, you automatically disprove yourself. Nobody will take you seriously if you base the talk on a false premise. In fact, to state that anything exists you have to prove it; to say that anything exists and is systemic, you have to prove that it exists and that it exist at a systemic level. Simple. If you cannot do any of these two things, it means that what you are stating is just an opinion. So you can't possibly be "100% correct", cause your mere opinion or perception do not constitute a fact.
Also, implying that the validity of your claim is dependent on the color of your skin actually sounds pretty racist. And it is also wrong to implicitly convey the understanding that your opinion represents that of people of your skin color, since there are many people of color who state exactly the opposite of what you say.

Until that moment, you are going to be considered a ridiculous being with nothing to offer to society. Your life of emotions and ignorance does not interest me.
