But I've been to at least 3 European countries, some multiple times, and I can honestly say that I've faced more racism in North America. Yes I encountered a few people who looked down on me in Europe but it was far less than here.

I agree and can relate to an extent. Italy is racist or at least has racial problems not to mention historical racism, including internal (excluding non-white Italians/non-Italians). Some Northern Italians are racist towards those of us even with Southern Italian ancestry. Anyways, I liked and dated many women who were non-white including black women and there are definitely Italian guys who are open to dating black women or other non-white women, even if not all of them. Anyways sorry for any racism you had to go through in my grandfather's country of Italy. I'm actually Italian-American living in America, though I identify ethnically as Italian/Southern Italian/Meridionale.

why live there? there were many italian americans in connecticut where i used to live i moved as soon as i could for my own mental health. they treated me like this but worse! stared at me like i was a zoo animal, followed me around stores like im a theif, asked me ignorant and offensive questions all the time and refused to work with me. it was traumatic

I don't mean to keep making these comments, but as I listen to you, I can't help but to pause the video and speak to your commentary. You stated that the men there call you all these different female celebrity names. Well, they do that to black men and women as well in the U.S., and I have come to the conclusion that it is just pure racism because one should always call a man or woman be the name that he or she told you, and anything less is pure disrespect. You said that the Italian men there spoils you if you are in a relationship, but men will always spoil women who they are in a sexual relationship with if they have the means to do so but, it does not always mean that they are in love (Not to say that you are having sex with any of these men). Here in the U.S. during the time of Antebellum slavery there was a famous president by the name of Thomas Jefferson who had a black mistress and man did he spoil her. Hell, he even took her to France when he would go there, but she still was a slave at the end of the day.

They will have sex with you but, don't fool yourself and think that they love you. When you told the story of how the boy rejected you in grade school, that was the essence of how they feel. See, he was a little child and unsophisticated, so he let the cat out of the bag so to speak. If someone was being racist toward you, wouldn't it be better and less stressful to come home to your black husband and vent about how these thing make you feel, as opposed to being careful and walking on eggshells because of trying not to offend your white spouse about how his people are making your life a living hell. You stated that it seems like more white guys are hitting on you as opposed to black men. The white men there are hitting on you because they perceive you to be easy, but don't fall for it. Get yourself a strong black man who will compliment your beauty and you will be at peace.
