Truly grateful for this video tour of beautiful St.Gertrude's. Bishop Dolan's love for and devotion to Our Blessed Lord and Our Lady and the Saints are evident everywhere you look; oh, what a blessed, holy place. Thank you so very much to His Excellency Bishop McGuire and to the Catholic Family Podcast. May God bless and keep you all!
I am so glad that I came across this video! I have been watching the Sunday Traditional Latin Massat SGG since COVID hit and I could not get into my own Church. Since my Church here is so post Vatican II with so many things going on there that I disagree with, finding St. Gertrude's Latin Mass online was more than a breath of fresh air to me. I so enjoyed seeing and watching Bishop Dolan and the Lord called him home. May he rest in Eternal Peace. The other priests there, alone with Bishop McGuire, do such a fine job leading the flock there! All Glory to God! As an aside: I am not sure if anyone from the Church reads these comments, but I have been trying to get information on joining SGG. I have written to the office there on two occasions and have yet gotten a reply. I did leave my contact information in those letters. Although I am an online "parishioner", I still would be interested in joining. if possible. If someone there could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again for the video and for having the TLM online for all of us to enjoy and feel part of SGG!
I hope someone reads your message so they can help and guide you ❤. We left NO 1999/2000 and we will never ever leAVE TLM, we to enjoy SGG from Europe when we do not have sede priestly visits from Poland and Hungary
We are part of one of their missions! I found that calling Theresa at the office is very helpful to get those questions answered. The number is on the top of their bulletin if you can download it. I can send the number here if you can't find it. I think I haven't ever gotten responses to my emails sent to them, but definitely do when I call!
What a wonderful tour! Would love to see more of these done with the various CMRI churches. Great videography as well with super close ups of statues and pictures. 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ It is my first time ever seen so many statues and pictures of Saints in a Catholic Church. If I don’t miscount, it is about 30+ statues, and countless pictures. It is a real life free tour to SGG from Australia. SGG has an inspiring presentation of Saints to lift up parishioners’ devotion. I pray to Saint Catherine Sienna very often, so she is not lonely in a corner of SGG church. I pray to have opportunity visiting SGG in-person soon coz there is no vaccine requirement for international travellers to the U.S
Thank you for the wonderful video. St. Gertrude the Great is where I have been attending Mass for the past 3 years. I only make it occasionally because I drive from Indianapolis to Cincinnati and I am on a fixed income. It is such a spiritual place to be
Saint Gertrude the Great sends Catholic Priests to my city, 1000 miles away. Several years. I still shake my head in wonderment. They are so wonderful. So Catholic. I always wanted to be Catholic but couldn't do it on my own. I'm sure Brown Scapular and Rosary , the Mother of God involved. I tell non Catholics how wonderful SGG clergy are.
What a beautiful Church. I appreciate the virtual tour and His Excellency, Bishop McGuire's spiritual guidance. I would love to see the exterior of the Church as well. Where processions take place outdoors. So many beautiful statues of our holy saints. I pray that Our Blessed Mother in Heaven will provide me with the opportunity to visit this lovely Church one day so that I can take part in attending the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
Between minute 5:30 and minute 6:36, it seems to me that the history of His Most Reverend Excellency's episcopal lineage is incomplete. The main photo is missing, without which, Their Excellencies (Dolan, Ribeiro Da Silva, Mcguire and Nkamuke) would not have become Bishops. And that missing photo is that of His Excellency Most Reverend Mark Anthony Pivarunas. Strange forgetfulness!
Hola.
@@stalphonsusliguori33 Bishop McGuire mentioned there are other opinions of theologians on this (fewness of those saved), if anyone knows where I can find more about that, I'd be interested to read/watch, particularly if they are saints (pre Vatican II of course).

I followed the Mass all the way from Malaysia. Deo gratias.

Thank you Father for allowing Mandy and Holly for taking a video tour of your beautiful church. John Cardoz from Mumbai

What a treat! Thank you!
I have loved O Lord the beauty of Thy house and the place where Thy glory dwells
I have been waiting for this video for years! From New Zealand, God bless.
Beautiful statuary

I've been going to SGG for 17 years & I still learned a lot !! Thanks for the video.
A great collection of patrons from Poland: Jadwiga (Hedwig), Kinga (Kunegunda) and Kazimierz (Kazimir). All saints pray for us!
If I ever get the opportunity to visit America, this is where I would love to attend a Holy Mass. Thank you for filming such a wonderful tour.

And also SGG laity thank you
Finally get to see the interior of the church. Deo gratias.
You should do the same with the old Saint Ioseph Church in El Retiro (Argentina) with Bishop Pío Espina.

Beautiful church!
Thanks for bringing back into our reality St Gertrude’s character
🙏
There is a Saint Francis de Sales statue exactly like that one in the library of Saint Peter's Seminary, London, Ontario.

Oh I would love to bring my camera there!
This was wonderful! Finally get to see the whole church. Can you do a video of the school too??

Any updates on Canada? 🙏
On UA-cam the few that are saved by port Lenard Maurice
Question is what “few” might be…
It's an opinion by a Saint. Worth a listen, very frightening if true.
@@E.C.2 i have actually listened to different versions about this saint and they are indeed frightening

Did you ask Bp Maguire if he is going to found a seminary in SGG?
Where could I find the 12 Sunday devotion to Our Lady of Good Counsel?
Father Google
@@St_AngusYoung I tried google, thanks. The kind people at St. Gertrude’s emailed it to me.
