  • His Excellency was kind enough to sit down for an interview and give an in-depth look at his journey from being a young Catholic in Chicago to running the largest Traditional Catholic congregation in the world.
    The "down to earth" Bishop recounts many experiences including stating that he decided to join the seminary due to his time in public school.
    It is a very nice listen and we thank the Bishop for taking time out of his ridiculously busy schedule to speak with us.
    Please pray for His Excellency, Bishop Mark Pivarunas!
    AMDG!
    * A big thank you to Fr Zepeda and The Catholic Wire for helping make this possible!

      They are Banging... He sure had the experience of you in High School! Kick me out of the Church (not these two knuckle heads particularly) over Bunny Ears at 10 put up to it by some of our other kids! And now I realize, I should of been your ideological enemy for years over that! Guess I can just make up for lost time making sure to expel the fools you are to others. So... Who Killed Jesus? Okay, now... Who took over Christianity? Couldn't both be Rome? Could It? So the Guys that Killed Jesus! Better known as Randus, put together the Bible... And Run the Faith, and went onto Burn Millions on the Stake and the Sort often to False Confessions via Torture! Oh, Yes, you are the Moral Ones. What did Randus say, don't pray in the Woods! Go Pray in the Chruches of the People that Killed Me! The Bible is mostly a Story of One People, One Period, One Place! And it's surely lacking. Like the Flood, the Bible is missing Text Books worth of Information on that, while Randall Carlson isn't. And the Whole thing is predicted on a lie, who can self inseminate themselves and get pregnant, oh what's that word you are not allowed to say 🤔... But the have both, and you people are on board with the Operations at birth, 5% of them are called "True" than that word, and x amount of them are capable of such and those births, sometimes even Virgin, still happen. So we need to a Oppress a whole rare type of people, many versions of the Bible say are born holy, all too keep the lie you are predicted on. I'm not saying Randus (Jesus' better known name) wasn't special, but we both know you're still lying, and Punishing a People the Bible Calls Holy through Hell to do it. But you are the Moral Ones...

    Once I was coming out of mass at St. Mary’s in Tacoma WA. His Excellency was in town, but I was unsure about the etiquette when addressing the bishop, so I avoided him. But as I walked out of mass there he was smiling, looking me straight in the eye. He must have sensed my discomfort, and he said, “How about those Seahawks!” I quickly forgot how uncomfortable I was and we had a nice conversation. What a gentleman. God bless Bishop Pivarunas.

    Terrific Interview / video. I'm from the south side of Chicago only a couple of miles from where the Pivarunas home was. They lived in a neighborhood known as Colonial Village, and my family in West Pullman, both definately 'South Side', as he alluded to! And, yes, we know each other. His Excellency covered his boyhood Parish and school, which was known at the time as, St Peter and Paul, which was predominately attended by Lithuanians. Our family attended the Polish church, Assumption BVM, which was probably not 3 miles away. This was right across from the Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Michaels, which became home for us refugees in the early days of the Vatican Council II change implementation, which His Excellency referenced. My own mother, was aghast at white vestments and the other significant liturgical changes at the funeral of her father, who passed in October 1968. And because 40 hours Devotion was being held at our church, my grandfather's funeral was held at the Pivarunas' old Parish, St Peter and Paul. That became the single event that caused my mother to discover the errors of Vatican II, and to align with Fr. Dennis who had periodically been through on on speaking tours.
    Althoughh I pursued the worldly life for many years, I came back to my Faith in 2008, serving daily Mass for Fr. Martin Stepanich, Bollingbrook, IL, until his death in 2012. I moved to Spokane recently and attend Mass regularly at Mount St. Michael. I thank God for the priviledge!!
    You're doing a nice job! Thanks!!

      We at the Catholic Family Podcast hold Bishop Kelly and the SSPV in high regard and they are in our prayers.
      It would be a major step forward for the entire Remnant Church if they would embrace the Thuc Consecrations and be united with groups like the CMRI, SGG, RCI, etc.

    • @megangreene3955
      @megangreene3955 Рік тому +2

      @@catholicfamilypodcast5501 I have no control over that. I assist at their Masses because they are valid, but I don't always agree with their policies. I do however, regard their seminary training as very good and the priests that come out of their seminary to be very well trained. Sadly, however, even though the Sisters convent is almost 100 Sisters strong, the Priests number fewer than 30. It's not a great situation because some of those priests are elderly and suffer from health problems, but are unable to retire. Bishop Kelly is retired by the way because he spends most of his time on dialysis. He has been poorly for the past decade, and has consecrated two bishops to take over the SSPV 'S day to day administration . The SSPV is now mostly run by Bishop Santay and Bishop Carroll.
      It would be great if they would collaborate in some ways, but I am pretty sure that they won't because they believe that because Archbishop Thuc performed some consecrations of questionable characters for motives that seem to be less than honourable, they are all suspect. Thus, they hold Bishop Sanborn, Pivarunas, etc to be invalidly consecrated or worse, not Catholic.
      With that being said, I regard the consecrations as valid, but definitely question Archbishop Thuc 's motives in consecrating some of the people he did. You have to admit that not all of his actions were above board. The question for me isn't whether Archbishop Thuc performed the consecrations correctly and had the minimum intention of doing what the Church does, but whether his motives were licit. It's a ginormous mess because of this problem. Unless this can be worked out between the three SSPV bishops and the other traditional Catholic bishops concerning those consecrations, then it will continue to be this way. They don't, at this point, see any compelling reason to change their position.

    • @catholicfamilypodcast5501
      @catholicfamilypodcast5501  Рік тому +9

My point,all 3 Bishops were fallible human made mistakes yet none of them are responsible for other men's action's after receiving Holy Orders. Without those 3 Bishops,we wouldn't have a Catholic remnant. The faithful at CSPV chapel I attend all accept Thuc Lefebvre Mendez lines as Catholic. That would be incredible if CSPV Bishops would work with Kevin & his family. God willing. Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam.
