Your Reverence. I so appreciate the way you narrate. It is very spontaneous but with such mastery of the subject matter. You don't sound like reading out of a book, but as if you have personally met St. Gertrude. The discussion puts the details nicely in my memory, I believe. If you were a professor, I would understand and remember your topics.

Hoping to be graded on a curve. I pray the 12 year Prayers of Saint Gertrude the Great every night to avoid Purgatory. Also pray the prayer for release of Holy Souls in Purgatory often. Saint Gertrude was a remarkable mystic and it great advice to strike up a friendship with her .

Why is it so difficult for me to find an icon or image of St Gertrude the Great so I can have it displayed in my home?
I wish I could find a spiritual guide to help me through life. Sometimes I'm afraid to move or speak thinking I might sin. I know not to do that. So, I keep walking and going forward, but the fear of being without God is real.
I trust God with all my might... yet I am insecure about my own self. I am not sure how to get rid of that. I put it in God's hands and practice patience and just keep praying and doing the work God sends my way. But, I cannot shake the fear of messing up. I am weak, awkward, and am not blessed with many talents. I won't give up and I will keep trying, and trust in God.
I believe in my heart the words I say and my love and faith in God is real. I just don't trust me. How do I get past that? He knows what He's doing.. and I know nothing...

Get a picture of Divine Mercy....
Say that quick prayer 3 times as soon as you wake up and 3 times right before you go to sleep.
This is the prayer written in painting itself, here it is:

Pick a good devotion to follow:
- Brown Scapuyar - you which modern saint had this devotion even not taking it off for surgery.
JP2!!! Very easy to follow - 1 rosary daily.
- 5 First Fridays... (Fatima)
And do confession once a month
- Fast if you can bread & water on Wed & Fri. (Fatima)

@@richardcastro1276 Ah another thing you might like.. The Divine Mercy is a chaplet.. I say the whole thing each morning... I struggles with chronic tiredness and reciting it helps start my brain power! 🥰

So doesn't matter if you did evil all your life, when you confess, you are saved 🥱🥱🥱👍
Jesus' mercy if for anyone who will have it. If you truly are sorry and seek to change your life, He will forgive you. This is the amazing news of Christianity, that no matter how far from God you've been, you can be saved from your past evils and have a new life full of hope. No one is beyond saving.
