OMG, you made me shed a tear... Thank you for being so kind. I feel constantly so small when I'm travelling abroad - nobody knows what and where Lithuania or Baltics are. Everyone keeps calling us "one of the polands"... And you showing such a deep interest, such an eager to learn more, get to know more - a complete stranger from Australia. As someone who has no link with Baltics, I want to thank you. I learn so much on your channel and that's why, whatever can happen, I'll keep following your accurate and interesting videos.
There are many YT channels of foreigners featuring Lithuania in some of their videos especially in several recent years. However, you'r and Crispin chanel stands out from the crowd and overshadows it. First of all, from the perspective of the absolute quality. While many chanels in question either briefly shows some beautiful places in Lithuania or shows some of the local cuisine or tells about the history of Lithuania in very very abridged maner. You guys, on the other hand, are talking about Lithiania's history in significantly greater resolution, you also talking about Lithuania's politics and geopolitics from perspetive of Lithuania and it's people which makes your chanel much more valuable than many chanels combined. Also your chanel is very intellectual and very sophisticated showing proper respect to the very essence of Lithuania. Because of that I am very grateful for you.

I'm really grateful what you two are doing. I believe there's quite a lot of Lithuanians watching you videos because of few reasons:
1. We are really really happy to see people like you fascinated with our small countries and our (insignificant from our point of view) culture.
2. It's important to understand what foreigners are thinking about us, it eases the communication and also help us to explain our history and life and culture more in more comprehensive ways.

❤ I also was oblivious to the Baltics until meeting and marrying my Australian born, Lithuanian descended husband. The stories of his father’s fleeing from the Soviets during WW2 at just 15 years of age first into Germany and then ending up in Denmark at a sanatorium due to contracting tuberculosis and weighing only 48kg and not seeing his family again until the eighties which is another story in itself with the KGB and his mother and her family escaping Lithuania brought home to me about how us Australians take our lifestyle and culture for granted and how ignorant we are when we really have never experienced oppression . It galls me every time I hear an Aussie whine about our supposed“lack of freedoms” 🙄. I love your enthusiasm Charlene ❤
