Obožavam Hrvatsku, tamo me zovu Srećko! Nedostaje mi Hrvatska i njezini divni ljudi. Bok I živjeli!!

croats are soooooooooooooooooooooooo good in football and not only since the world cup 2018. As a turk I KNOW WHAT I MEAN! since 2008, when we beat them, we always lost against croats. BUT i really like the croat national team i supported them in 2018 world cup
Half of their players have bosnian roots.

Turkish players showed great sportsmanship after that match in 2008...also showed great spirit earlier in that tournament, quite amazing actually...so a lot of respect for Turkey football team and I am hoping for another great result in the away match with France as well

Nice video about Croatia! Sadly, the only thing my football obsessed classmates know about this beautiful country is its soccer players.
And that Singlish was very accurate. I'm Singaporean by the way.

So funny to watch this years later having visited Croatia in the last year. The bridge that "plans were scrapped" for is now finished and I believe it's set to open soon. I still had to go through the Neum corridor with its passport checks but I could see the bridge from the bus. Was pretty cool. Oh, and Zagreb is super underrated. Great town.
Yep,just crossed it last week. It is a beautifull structure.

+Rockstar Vienna ONLY 3 HOURS TRIP?! I need a 3 hour trip (really short trip) to go to my hometown WTF and I'm still on the same country.
I guess that's the good thing about small countries
Yeah i guess that's a good thing, From the city of Graz about 2 hours to Zagreb and 4 hours to the sea. If you start at the south-eastern part of Austria and wanna drive to the northern part of Croatia it's actually possible within 30 minutes ^^ Austria and Croatia are already small countries but Slovenia is really tiny.
+Rockstar Vienna and Argentina its huge compared to them
Only when people say things like this do I realize just how small Europe is. 2-3 hours away in Jakarta, Indonesia is... Still Jakarta. Traffic jam as f*ck.

+Mark Burja Macedonia too
+Mark Burja Većinom vi nas razumijete, a mi vas ne :(
+Mia P :D
+Mark Burja I'm Croatian and spend a lot of time in Slovenia-- *I understand what people say if they speak slowly and I know the context of the conversation well*, otherwise I just get confused (because every 5th word sounds the same but means something totally different for no reason, plus *you have so many regional dialects spread over a small area it makes it really difficult for me to pick up the standard language*, which it seems like almost no young people tend to speak heh)
But Mia's right in that it feels like most Slovenians understand me just fine when I speak Croatian...albeit I tend to express myself in mostly standard/globalist (i.e. derived from english) words.
What ends up happening is that I default to english with my boyfriend (he's Slovenian), even though we've been together for 5 months and I lived in Ljubljana for half of it-- *it just ends up being simpler and better for nuanced conversation*. Plus english just sounds better than Slavic languages imho , less rough ^^

Although Croatia only became independent in 1991, the country is actually more than a thousand years old!
It was formed in 925 and between year 1091 and 1918 it was in personal union with my country - Hungary. Over 800 years both countries prospered and suffered together.
Croatia is a beautiful nation with a rich history. It's an ideal place to visit!

Oh, I was referring to the referendum on the issue in 1991, and the Sabor's declartion on Croatia's independence on June 25, 1991. Eitherway war broke out and it lasted for years until Dayton. Luckily that's the past and Croatia is now a country enjoying peace as the rightful member of the EU. Best wishes!

Beautiful country, unforgettable memories. Good job!
7:57 IT WAS NOT A CIVIL WAR! AND REMEMBER THAT!!
From a certain point of view it was.
+marko majnik Serbians said it was and Croatians said it wasn't. But how would it be a civil war bethween two diffrent nations? Civil war is a war bethween two groups of people same nationality, but Croats and Serbs are not the same nationality, you know... No Yugoslavians, that never actually was accepted by people in Croatia.. Same with Serbo-Croatian language and all the other tries to forget the multi-nationality in Yugoslavia and make just one called "Yugoslavians".. Croatians always called their language Croatian and their people Croats.
Mihael Eurovision That's why I said from a certain point of view.
From the outside, Yugoslavians were one nation. Simple as that. A war inside one nation is a civil war :)
From the outside that didn't know history, just to correct you. Serbs tried to make one nation of all the South Slavic nations and then after a few generations when they all forget about their real nationalities rename the country to Great Serbia... That was the first Yugoslavia, and the second one was federation, so there already were nationalities expressed... There always were nationalities in the first Yugoslavia actually, but they couldn't be in public because of the Serbian programs which made Serbs the leaders, but everybody had to be called Yugoslavian.. Trust me that everybody knew who is Croat, Serb or Slovene... Yugoslavian nationality never really existed. Croatia and Slovenia were the most developed, but when first Yugoslavia united they had to pay the most.. and got the least in return.. All the money was spent on improving Belgrade... Slovenians and Croatians couldn't get jobs in civil services because Serbs didn't let them. We stepped into Yugoslavia so naive, I can't believe my nation was so stupid. But actually Croatian Parliament never signed the unification document... Serbs said it was civil war, because they said every South Slavic nation is Serbian. But it wasn't a civil war. In the name of all Croatians I can say you offended our country A LOT by saying that. That war is something we really care about and it is a big thing for us. It was a lesson, so I can say there won't ever be Yugoslavia again 100%... At least Croatia won't be in it.... Many Croatians see Serbs as their biggest enemies nowadays too, but I don't. We have a nice relationship now, no matter that some of them are still dreaming about "The Great Serbia" which they always wanted to make.... I have a big part of family living there too, so I go there very often. Hope you learned something new here.
yugoslavia didnt exist anymore meaning it wasnt a civil war

Hungary is a Uralic country. They were not one country orginally. Hungary always spoke a Uralic language. Croatia is a Slavic country that joined Hungary hundreds of years ago, while Hungary always remained it's own country that owned Croatia.
I travel to Croatia each year and It is amazing. I go to a village nearby split and has many vineyards and mountains.

@Neki Lik a ti nemoj olako zaboravljati istoriju, ona se ponavlja kada se zaboravi,a kod nas Srba je to postao običaj,ako malo bolje analiziraš našu istoriju videćeš da se stalno ponavlja jedno te isto

A Croat here. It is amazing how many information you managed to cram into these ten minutes, and how much funny asides without being insulting for a moment. It must have taken a lot of research.
So, I will not argue you calling our war for independence "civil war" - with somebody more superficial, I would.
