Merry Christmas! My bf didn't understand the stocking thing either. My family always filled it with toiletries (new toothbrush, deodorant, favorite soaps etc) and the small boxes (jewelry, gift cards) that would get lost or tossed under the tree.

My PPU for December came yesterday, which was more or less like a gift, and I painted my nails before I went to a couple of family get togethers. A part of it was Looking Mighty Pine from Painted Polish.
Merry Christmas! My favorite childhood doll was a wind-up baby doll that I named Dolly Olly (or Super Dolly if she had a blanket cape tied around her neck). She is very scruffy from too much love but resides in my closet in a wooden doll cradle made by my grandfather. Treasures should be kept.
Omg that’s so funny. When I was little I remember we were aloud to have a chunk of butter for our carrots/broccoli and I would put the butter on the side of my plate and save it for last just plain ol butter. I can’t eat it straight now… but I friggen love it.
100% on the practicing dialogue thing. I write down what I'm going to say if I *have* to make a phone call & try to have a list of topics to touch on in social situations *if* I'm forced to be in one 😂 It makes me feel like a total weirdo but I kinda am a total weirdo.. So I gotta embrace that 😂
Practicing dialogues is norrrmal! As the child of a non-native speaker, it was normalized to write out answering machine messages and questions for appointments and stuff. I think it’s a legitimately helpful tool for all sorts of people. And you chatted entertainingly, so…😆🙌 Cuticle gappers unite! I also don’t push my cuticles so I think my nails would bother a lot of nail polish community members. I think your cuticle gap isn’t noticeable. I make Christmas lists because my friends and I realized it was too stressful to always come up with gifts for each other, so to help take pressure off we do a list for anyone who wants to use.

In what has been a stressful holiday season, a real bright spot has been the time to just slow down, watch one of your videos, and invariably have a bit of a laugh at something funny you say. 🌲
I use to be more preoccupied with saying things right and practicing it in my head, but nowadays I try to be more with the flow and just listen and react honestly. I definitely mess up all the time, like dumbly so, but it is what it is. The 24th is when I've always celebrated and opened presents, big party at my grandparents. The 25th is reserved for chilling at home, I did have my daughter wait for her gift from me and her dad until Christmas morning. I got a cute high waisted skirt from my mom, my signif and daughter got me some Holo Taco cremes I'm missing, the Sweet Crèmes to be exact, more Peely Base because I made my first spill with my previous Peely Base, and HT Hand Cream. My stepmom and dad got me a wonderful smelling candle and a gift card to a restaurant for all of us (them and us children) to go to some time. I gave out money mostly to everyone, but I did end up getting gifts for my child relatives in addition to the cash, also picked up a nice sweater for my dad because the color combo was perfect for him and his job has him in the cold always. For my daughter I bought a toy kitchen set she asked for when I was asking about commercials and anything catching her eye on BF and had family members buy play food to go with it. For my signif I bought no longer available on the site Dr. Squatch soap that he loves, and some nice ear plugs for when we go to his concerts or when he has band practice as well as a cleaning kit for it. We do a stocking for our daughter, but not for us really. Because of you, I tried Deco Miami and I am also now in love! I need some tweezers like that, regular tweezers are def a bit of a pain but still easier than any other nail art method.
I looooooooove bugs and butter! I used to only eat for the longest time when I was a kid buttered noodles and would lick the butter off of utensils and popcorn bags.

My favorite gift or most memorable I guess was close to yours, my dad very randomly gave me and my sister matching puppy dog stuffed animals I still have mine also very squished and out of shape. Holidays have been hard last few years as I have lost my whole family, and I am spending my last Christmas with my 1 dog this year. But my 3 pups and I opened our gifts last night. I had gotten some polish stuff so pretty and a few brands I haven’t tried so fun to try them out!!!

I think the ranch dressing color is a surprisingly nice background for that. Sometimes white is way too stark.
