I hope you'll tell us your favorite advent calendar you opened! I have opinions!! or perhaps you could rank them? its been so interesting to see you open them!! thank you for sharing!!
I love pinks and nude shades so this would be perfect for someone that likes those shades. It's a good gift for someone that likes those shades and is not into collecting nail polishes
I did this 2 years in a row about 4 or 5 years ago and that was enough. Repeats and many that I would never buy. I probably got rid of about half of them.
Tfs!!! I'd drop it from your advent's next year!!! That top coat looks similar to Glisten & Glow's... I'd love to know if it is or not, and speaking of top coat's you should try Vibrant Vinyl's from ppu. Although my alltime fav is Night Owl Lacquer's Patience Not Required!!!
I'm curious to know how many are repeats. I feel like Pool Party, and some of the red/pinks, maybe even some of the neutrals have been in their other advents.
I have never even heard of this brand before, but would definitely be a pass for me, not a fan. I also dislike the mixed number layout. BTW, I do cross my # 7. It's more of an international thing, since the #1 is hooked, thus it's used to delineate between them.
I wonder if they're mostly cremes because they featured their Plant Pots line? I'm talking out of my ass here but I've gotten thus advent calendar before back in 2018 and 2019 and they had a mixture of their lines. I think it was their regular line and their Geology line and they had way more fun finishes, but about 3 or 4 duplicates from year to year. Like I said, I don't follow Ciate so I could be way wrong but this is disappointing in how little color and finish diversity it had. 😕
I don't like minis to start with, and these nondescript shades really don't do anything for me. Thank you for your review though, always enjoyable. 😻 Britt
I got this as a gift, and I'm happy that it gives me a lot of colors I don't have, like the nudes and pinks. So they will be great bases for all my toppers. The top coat didn't work at all for me, it stayed tacky.
I think it is expensive for what it is. It is definitely not for someone that goes even a little outside the mainstream route. I think is more generic to people who do not have hundreds of polishes. So they combined cremes and a couple of toppers to change the cremes up. Not for me.
I was really close to picking this up when I saw it at my cvs but it was the first time I have seen this tbh and I wasn't excited when I saw the back photo on the box so I passed but I enjoyed this video:) tfs
Guess I’ve got an outlier opinion….I like cremes and I don’t think this is that bad. I think having 5ml each of what are a lot of basic shades is all that bad. It is just more conservative than US indie brands. I think it might have been nice to have 3-5 toppers with all the cremes. I think this is a collection for someone just starting to buy polishes. BTW, that blue shade you like is cobalt blue (like It’s Brittany, Beach). 😊
Bummer about this advent, but you can get something else next year! I have a friend who worked with some international coworkers in a lab and how they wrote their 7s were so different it actually caused some issues misreading them as 5s 😅
This advent calender is disappointing... I just saw Wild Moon Lacquer do an unboxing of the Indie Mixtapes Advent Calender and that one had a lot of interesting polishes, maybe try that one next year instead of this one?
i love me a good cream polish, but unless i only have a couple of nail polishes, i probably would have already have my staple/go to reds and pinks... also another point is that these colours seem to flatter lighter skin tones, i feel like these people like myself with more mid-tone/ yellow tones would not like most of them thank you for doing these videos so i dont have to research on everything myself
I have quite a few Ciates, so I can testify that they do nice cremes and some fun finishes as well. Having said that, their advent calendar belongs in the trash. When a company decides to put their regular stock in an advent calendar, they normally choose underperforming shades. Also, the quality of the box is horrid.
Put this on your no buy list for next year so you can get something you love instead.
Ciate I think aims at a different customer group than us Indie lovers. That‘s the nicest thing I possibly can say about it - haha!
I write my 7s and Zs with the line, but it's something I picked up from my math teacher who studied abroad or something and they did that.

I’m going to miss your vlogmas so much! And I write my 7 with the line through it….
lmao i loved the flamingo intermission
I think that pale blue might be repeated too, maybe the green as well

Me: can't remember basic day to day things. Hilary: remembers the name of a nail polish she didn't even care for from a year ago
I always put a line in my 7’s 😂

Oh I definitely would not purchase it again next year - unless you want a third Dancing Queen (I think that is what it was called) 😊

Did Ciate run out of green 🟢 pigment lol.🤦🏻♀️
I bought theirs last year and was so disappointed. Never again 😢
When you opened the full size polish I was like 🤢🤮 but it did look beautiful over the blue!

I hate when they put calendars in order. I like hunting for them :D
I think this is just a box you need to give up on. :/ I didn't get them and I'm disapointed.
Wow i never knew flamingos are so terrifying! 😅🦩

Team Sherbert!
I write seven with the little line. But then I also felt like 80 since I was 10 😝
I am so glad I did not waste my money on this. I find the colors are bland and, like you said, not fitting for a holiday box.
Girl, this clearly does not spark joy- definitely skip next year!
Personally I just hate the minis in any brand too finicky but tfs 🤣
This is a no for me!
This advent calendar was not great. If the company wants repeat customers they shouldn’t be repeating colors each year.
Sorry…but this box was a snooze fest.
I'm not impressed with their choices.
This polish is just 😴!
