I just started to feel uncomfortable and uncoordinated in skinny jeans after wearing them for 20 years. I'm still trying to find ways to salvage them. This video was so helpful! Can you maybe do a video about skinny Jeans and how to transition over to wider fits. That'd be helpful because that's the dilemma I'm in right now. 😅
I have to part with my beloved black peplum blazer because of weight loss, right when it’s on-trend again! I hope I can find another, in my new size. Going from a size 16 to a size 6 means everything in my wardrobe has to go except shoes and accessories. I’ve kept the weight off for years, though, it’s time to be realistic, everything above a Medium, at least, must go now.
Here as well. I never liked skinny jeans as they are not easy to get on and get off, and not flattering on me although I am skinny. But Chi’s videos are always fun to watch.
I’m knock-kneed, and skinny jeans just emphasize that fact, and also broad across the rear, so I never did wear skinnies. (I have a mirror and use it!). But my tapered jeans ‘look’ like skinnies on me (to my mind) so these tips are great!
Wow those pointy gray boots instead of the brown boots adds inches🤩gorgeous! I am 5’6, but still appreciate your styling tips very much thank you :) wish I never got rid of my peplum top from 2012b
Can you please do a video on workout wear and activewear for petite women? I am a petite hourglass and love wearing activewear but dont always look the best in them.
As a petite, I never wear those crotch-length, or tunic-length sweaters. They ruin the proportions and cling to the tummy. But, brands are just now bringing in the shorter-length sweaters, at last. I wear a lot of “cropped” ones, being very short-waisted as well as short overall, and they cover my waistband and end between there and the top of my hipbones. Most clothes are designer for women 5’9” or taller, and designer brands are even worse in this respect. I don’t generally buy designer clothes, but I want the best-quality, natural fiber, fabrics and genuine leather, so I shop the Premium High Street level. I really love Banana Republic (not their Factory store) because they have beautiful, natural fabrics and petite options in many tailored pieces.
I am in my late 30s and elastic waist straight leg and wide leg trousers are my wardrobe staple now. Not because of the changing fashion trends, just for comfort 😂 I parted ways with tight fitting skinny jeans and skinny trousers probably forever.
I love listening to you. Guess it's. Accent. Your fun to watch. Thank you. Great ideas. I tried to get out of skinny jeans but they look good w boots. ❤
Any advice for flannels? Are they in or out? How can I update mine? Tuck? It’s hard to tuck as a petite woman. Tops are so long they look all bunchy in my pants 🙁
i don't know about you but I never wore skinny and always found flares, bootcuts and straights online and thrifting, while the skinny trend was going on.
@@shoegal sorry, it's just a misunderstanding on my behalf. There's tight skinny jeans and then there's Jeggings which are really leggings but have the feel of jeans. That's why I was asking
i completely agree about skinny jeans and petite women. i’m 5’2 and the baggy/oversized jeans overwhelm me making me look like a balloon animal. thank you for the new staining ideas go team skinny
So glad skinny jeans are going out! I never wore them; they looked horrible in my pear shape petite frame. They are too tight and don’t leave much to the imagination. Looser trousers that are well made and tailored are so classy and flattering and don’t show every bump and curve.
I'm a petite hour glass shape & skinny jeans were made for me! Long live the skinny jeans!! 😊

If you had a goal to lose weight, CONGRATS!🎉
Congratulations on your weight loss. I imagine you feel better physically now.
I've never liked skinny jeans and don't wear them but as always, I enjoy your advice and suggestions. ❤

One content creator has said to remove peplum tops as they are out of style. I love my peplums and glad you rave about them too!
They are timeless.

Posture, plus the fit of your clothing are key. Posture, appropriate accessories and hair style, a happy face too! Confidence carries the day, IMO
Yes, a lot of people forget how important is posture.
I love listening to you. Guess it's. Accent. Your fun to watch. Thank you. Great ideas. I tried to get out of skinny jeans but they look good w boots. ❤
Thank you for these enlightening tips ❤

Could you please make a video on types of skinny jeans?
Idc what anyone says, I'm still wearing my skinny jeans and ordering new ones
Same here.
Exactly.
100%.
Why should I switch to another style if the one I use so far looks great on me????
If you like your style why are you looking this video?😁😁
Which ones work for you assuming wear petite sizes. Thanks!
Hi Chi, I don’t see the gray tall boots listed in the description box, can you post the link please 🙏
Chi please need the link for the gray boots
Peplum came back on trend way too soon!! 😂 brings back memories of college parties 🤣
This video is gold!!
Cute chunky sweater 😍
Thank you so much! 💖
Great video, again! Thank you.
I needed this! Now I’m going blazer shopping! Lol

Flannels are timeless and a winter staple.
Straight jeans are the best investment. Skinny and baggy come and go out of style but straight is always straight.
Thanks.love.. Always great tips..can you do.a quick.short.for petitie women with lots of.curves aka voluptuous
But I still like the big boots with the skinny jeans :(
We the motorcycle riders and rockers/punks always wear big boots with skinny or any other kind.
Chi where did you get your knee high boots from please?
Oh Chi, where did you get the grey boots?? I would've never thought of grey. That looks absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so so much! 💖
My skinny jeans are long gone, I never liked them, but for 15 years or so, nothing else was available. I only wear 501s.
i don't know about you but I never wore skinny and always found flares, bootcuts and straights online and thrifting, while the skinny trend was going on.
Can I wear them if Im petite but also an invierted triangle?
Canadian tuxedo! It’s a real thing 😂.
Are you talking about Jeggings or legit skinny jeans that are skin tight skinnies?
1:22 she mentions them around this time
@@shoegal sorry, it's just a misunderstanding on my behalf. There's tight skinny jeans and then there's Jeggings which are really leggings but have the feel of jeans. That's why I was asking
@@comkverI understand! I have jeans that are not quite skinny tight ankles but not quite straight. I think it’s just my giant calves 🤪
i completely agree about skinny jeans and petite women. i’m 5’2 and the baggy/oversized jeans overwhelm me making me look like a balloon animal.
thank you for the new staining ideas
go team skinny

Ankle cut skinny jeans make my short legs look shorter.
Throw them skinny jeans out! They are tired!
All jeans are timeless. Wear what suits you the best.
❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😘🌹🌹👍👍🙏🙏🙏
OMG you always gorgeous
Thank you so much! 💖
