Im about to buy a set of these soon but I’m a bit confused. Specifically with the plate that goes where the torque box is. With this kit, do I still need to buy a separate torque box reinforcement kit?
They are not battle box kits but they help strength the area a bit. Does nothing for the upper torque box.
Would there be anything different you would need to do to a convertible to add subframe connectors?
As far as I know, there is no difference.
i have an 04 convertible v6 and am debating on putting power into it. either big turbo or commiting to an svt swapp. will this keep my car from twisting? again, its originally a v6
Question: how low do they hang? , are they below stock side skirt line ?

Hey I’m 27 and I have a 1968 mustang coupe 289 that’s Brittany blue. Is there anyway I could install a supercharger? Also there’s a lot of give in the steering wheel how would I do away with that since there’s no power steering ?
They do make Supercharger kits for carburetor setups. Play in the steering is often caused by the steering box.
Not sure these will for on my 2001 Cobra Convertible. Ford out their version of sun frame connectors on it
The later new edge convertibles came with a very basic bolt on subframe connector since Ford realized how much they help the chassis. They can be easily removed if you wanted to, a weld on subframe will be stronger.

I’m trying to decide which subframe connector would be better: Maximum Motorsports or Steeda?
Both make a nice product. I have used MM many times, this was my first time installing Steeda and they fit very well.
@@cjponyparts do you feel one kits is better for Convertibles over another?
