I was under the impression the weight of the car needed to be on the suspension to do the subframe connectors, un like the 2 post lift and the suspension hanging. ijw
I've installed two sets of full length SFC from MM. On my Hatchback it was a bit noticeable but on my vert it was like a new car. ALL rattles ceased! The doors rattling on big bumps / railroad crossings were also eliminated with the SFC's. I totally recommend SFC on any vert for sure!
I like these but I’m putting a roll cage in my 87 Saleen clone basic subframes and a toque box reinforcement kit. If I wasn’t putting in a roll cage this kit would be very attractive.
Looks like Stifflers did it again! I really like their Driveshaft Safety Loop! This would definitely be a great addition to that…Great video Brother! 💯👊🏾
It's not fit that's the issue. If the car binds while lifting, you'll lock the car into the bind when you weld it off. Should be done while the car sits as it would drive to avoid this. It's even noted in stifflers instructions.
Wow Stifflers knocked it out of the park with this design, the telescoping cross brace pieces are an amazing idea. I put the Kenny Brown Matrix kit on mine and it wasn't nearly as easy as this kit is you have to trim the cross brace pieces along the pinch weld brace to fit and tack them in, plus the Kenny Brown kit was 200 dollars higher. Granted I put mine on long before this kit came out but still. Great video!
The stifflers F.I.T system is one hell of a product i installed that system on my 90 gt when they just came out with it. I also installed one of there transmission crossmember and spider braces. Night and day difference when driving the car . Installed mine on with the car on a 4 post lift
sooo Stifflers is offering the old Kenny Brown triangulated Matrix system... this system has many years of proven quality through KB.... i hope they have a more competitive price!
@@TanCalHan ok, give me your sales pitch! as someone who has installed KB system on 6 or so Fords sell me on why the Stifflers system is "a better design" please. i am not arguing that it isn't a great and somewhat necessary modification to any unibody design, nor am i arguing quality of the brand... Sell me! is the "better design" in the thickness of material used? if so what was the determining factor other than the age of the chassis for said improvements.... It looks to be a bit more user friendly install but again thats just based on the video B put out! I am sure that a design that is 35ish years old could be improved on, just sell me on why! i do like it is pre coated with the "pull tabs" for raw metal to weld. However the down side to that for me, i use these systems on convertible's and slight modifications and adjustments are required... I will end up trying this system because it is Stifflers and they make good quality products. this was just an observation that one of the biggest names in aftermarket mustang chassis systems has been making this same system since the late 80's or early 90's and it has been vary successful!
Lol 🤣 the title of this video! I was going to ask you about these when you did the drive shaft loop I thought they were one of the Best that you don't have to cut the floor pan on the flexi Fox
Even your basic sub frame connectors make a world of a difference. DO NOT waste your money in the bolt on sub frame connectors, they are junk. You need to weld them in.
I thought subframe installations had to had front and real wheels under load does having it on the lift still do that. Ive never used a lift before...just wondering. Please let me know
Love the fitment of this style subframe connector, I have stifflers subframe's on my car but it's not the Fits system, is the Fits a add on to the subframe or is this a hole kit, my connectors looks the same just not with the extra webbing and pinch weld brace

Audience, great choice on the installation ✌🏾.

So true. I went full send with my vert and did team z through the floor SFCs. Massive improvement.
This is my wish list for my 1983 GT Convertible. Thanks bro!!
Awesome 😎!! I like the looks of those. There way better looking than what is in my car.
Love the video glad I was able to come out and help you with it I’m ready to do it again!!
Man I was just looking at this whole kit! Price is really hood!
It’s a great system
Whoaaa that is a serious stiffy right there 😳
😆✊
Just got them! Need to get to busy!

Hey! I’m new to the page and I love it! Good job… I have a 1989 Coupe FHP SSP and I want to install coilovers, what do you recommend ?
Looks like Stifflers did it again! I really like their Driveshaft Safety Loop! This would definitely be a great addition to that…Great video Brother! 💯👊🏾
Definitely a great piece brother!
Everyone always told me that to install subframe connectors you needed a 4 post but looks like they fit just fine with the 2 post

@@Stainlessslayer when I put my mm ones in I went to a shop with a 4 post. 🤷🏻♂️
Get a strut tower brace with those frame connectors....

It’s definitely an easy to install kit and very well thought out design

I think all the foxes need subframes. It helps a ton with body cracking and tweeking
Have a set very similar to this from Kenny Brown. Makes all the difference! Nice job!
Awesome design, makes me want to tear mine off and install a set of those!
✊🙌
Gimme your old ones 😆

You read my mind that was the parking lot I was thinking about u trying lmao.. I don't go in that way no no..
Great looking product brew2l..
Lol you know all too well the flex that driveway will cause in a fox. 😆🫡
Are subframes a waste of money on a stock fox? I figured a set wouldn’t hurt on a 30 year old car to help stiffen the body
Warning: the next part of the video is going to make your fox very, very stiff.
You hear that welder??? Thats what you wanna hear!!!! Got it dialed in good!!!
Great video
That title 🤣… nice product & another awesome video 👍🏻
Can I connect my cage to this system?
Very nice, looks like another great product from stiffers. Really good mod for a foxbody.
Didn't you say a while back sub frame connectors wasn't a good idea or needed on a street Mustang?
How’s the girth of them? Lol do they work on verts?
I wonder if these are compatible with makers garage pinch weld covers.
Lol 🤣 the title of this video! I was going to ask you about these when you did the drive shaft loop I thought they were one of the Best that you don't have to cut the floor pan on the flexi Fox
I need something for the convertible
Do you miss yellawolf!?!?
Seriously, back in stock in 10 weeks, come on man

I have sub frame connectors on my fox. Is there a big difference from normal sub frame ones to the webbing ones?
I probably wouldn’t upgrade a street car if it already has subframes unless you’re looking for more collision resistance. Now a track car… definitely
How do those 86 gt tails fit? any gaps in comparison to 87 and up lx lights?
Are these an issue with brake and fuel lines. What if you need to replace the lines?

I feel pretty sure that you can add the webbing on. But I’ll have to check to be sure.
@@BREW2LFOXBODY That is correct, you can add the webbing and the stiffen rail after the fact.
Gotta get me some of that #leechtuned
Yeah boy! ✊
When installing these on a vert, would you just remove all the plating under the car?
Nice.....
