Great battle. Texas Southern definitely held their own. Solid sound, solid arrangements, and a Twirler that held it down! Southern always has a solid sound; sometimes more powerful than others. It was dope hearing "Can You Feel It" as that's probably one of my favorite tunes to hear a band play when arranged right. However, that move to play while TSU was playing was tacky AF. I am glad to see SU has finally slowed down the tempo of some of their arrangements. Overall, this was a solid battle. Now, let's see how this BoomBox Classic gon' look!
The Motion gave me my whole life this weekend! The dolls gave me the usual sexy sensual but I want them to change it up. Not saying get rid of their style but put some mph behind it!

In terms of high schools copying Southern or any other band etc that’s been going on since in my day, after... and it will continue after you. Shrugs

Why every time SU battles someone the comments are filled with people saying SU fans can’t be objective or are delusional lmao I’ve always seen SU fans give props to a bands trumpets, baritones or even saying that they killed certain songs BUT that they feel SU is more balanced etc Like SU fans are the most cordial and unbiased group even considering they have every right not to be lmfao
I’ve seen bands that haven’t been good since 2002 be so hostile and biased towards others, but SU who is at at the top still have fans who give other bands the slight edge all the time??
