First off let's get something clear learn the difference between a statement and a question. If you didnt preceive my question just as i wrote it then maybe I should have cleared it up for you. You negative clowns be so quick to jump on here with nonsense when you cant properly distinguish a question from a statement or hating as it was so put. So number one I'd never hate on SU they are #1 in my book always have and always will be. There is no need for me to hate on them or throw negativity their way. My comment was a simple question "WHATS UP WITH SU DRUMLINE" meaning last season they started out with less then 36 percussionist then it went to it's normal numbers and this season it's the same so I was wondering if it's going to stay that way or not. Next time instead of being on your period why not read and understand the post first. So can someone clear it up as to why the line smaller. It's no disrespect.

@@anthonypatterson5220 Southern doesn't take the whole drum section on road games. They normally take 8 or 9 snares on the road, but march 12 at home. Not sure about the total count on tenor, base, & symbols, but know they don't take the whole section on road games until Bayou Classic.

If fans need to go back to a 2014 video to find that 1 time JSU MIGHT have won a battle against the Jukebox...seems there's a hint of desperation in arguing JSU is better than SU...IJS. Both bands have their own swag & strengths...The Jukebox just happens to consistently & routinely be all around better.
Classygem1993 xxx I wouldn’t say all around better. Southern is only know for playing songs with power! So with 60 trumpets that’s what you suppose to do. JSU on the other hand plays both styles Balance and power(when needed) but my opinion is just another 1 on the long list of opinions! But speaking facts JSU and SU has been the top 2 bands consistently in HBCU
@@azarusjenkins8961 SU isn't "just known for powerful playing". Trump is known as being President but that doesn't mean he's known for being a good 1. I love the rivalry SU & JSU have...it makes both band programs strive for perfection therefore all the fans, haters, novice, etc... learn how to be great from US😉

Compared to how txsu started the season off this is a hella better improvement.
