King of Kings on the electric blues 60's...definitely the best, his singing was smooth without screams. Also his time and dynamics were perfect.. There will be no other one....
For my money, THE best Electric Blues album of the 1960s - a decade that produced the BEST Electric Blues. I purchased Blues Power as a 15 year-old North Jersey high school guitarist. I played along with it endlessly - until I came up with a journeyman's version of Albert's style. It helped me also perform Alvin Lee's Woodstock jam on "I'm Going Home" with my teen band.
@@factorylad5071 Depends on if you dig the Blues Power! Back in 1969, this LP was all over New York City Underground FM radio. It was a Righteous Monster!
@@nuwavedave The year of 1969 is a line in the sand for me. I was still a school boy in short pants in one of the most revered public schools. I saw no further music from the us other than Dylan , Woodstock and Simon and Garfunkel. I didnt switch on to Albert King till 1971 and the other Kings much , much later.
Back in '69, I bought my first Stereo System. This was the first album that I purchased that day. Been listening to it ever since. It still stands tall 54 years later. RIP Mr. ALBERT KING 🎉
❤ Mr King!! Always the Best of the Best! Love his Vibe!

Just killer tone.
Wow
Depends on your level of speculation suppose if Herbie Hancock meets Steve Cropper down a dark alleyway
