Thanks. I loaned my adult daughter my 2003 Camry and the battery died. She left the trunk open and didn't realize the light didn't go out automatically. Soooooo she had a very dead battery after a week. She jumped it and called to say the idle was screwed up. I looked at and followed your video and everything is great now. It was so easy
I’m gonna write down the steps just in case anyone has a hard time understanding (no hate for the channel, I just found it hard to follow along) Step: 1. get the car to operating temperature. Step: 2. Turn off (once at operating temperature) Step: 3. Turn on (5-7 seconds) Step: 4. Turn off Step: 5. Turn on (5-7 seconds) start the car Step: 6. Hold brake (must be held the entire time) and lift the E-Brake, shift into drive gear Step: 7. Let the car run for 3 minutes (I did it for 10 minutes just to be sure) Great video! I have a 2001 Toyota Camry. And I changed the battery and didn’t know how to relearn the idle.
Great video thanks for your help! My customer was having trouble with a new battery I sold him and was trying to return it, but we figured it out with this video.
Awesome, this video just saved me about $20 a tank in gas due to a high idle when I reset my dash lights to kill the maintenance light! Thank You sooo much!!!!
worked on my 1997 toyota camry. the rpm would jump 1,000 rpm ONLY when I would have the heater in the car on. but once I turn the heater off it would stop jumping rpms. the car had never done until I replaced the battery. but long story short. this actually works!!!

If one car it’s not Automatic ?
May Toyota Camry it’s Manuel( no automatics )
Might be easier to bring it to a shop who has a scan tool or a tuner and they can reset the whole computer for you
There's no audio at the end
Thanks for the heads-up.
Mine turn off
Bad fuel filter
