- I RAISED THOUSANDS ON GOFUNDME AFTER MY CAR WAS TORCHED
In this special edition of the Podcast, we sit down with Brendan Nwabichie who on August 3rd returned home from a 12-hour shift to find the remnants of his torched, overturned vehicle outside his flat after rioters caused havoc in Middlesbrough under the guise of protesting the passing of three young girls.
He had previously saved up for 12 months to afford the vehicle and was overwhelmed with sadness. Though his sadness was remedied when his employer, Claire’s Care UK set up a fundraiser on GofundMe to buy a replacement car which was set alight during the riot in Middlesbrough and within a few days exceeded its original £3,000 targeted and had raised more than £65,000.
Though the good deed soon turned sour with mixed messaging coming from Claire’s Care UK as to what the extra funds were to be used for with accusations that they were misappropriating the donated funds.
Brendan joins us to briefly share his side of the story and tell the truth about what happened.

Claire needs to be taken to court, that money should solely go to this gentleman and he can use the money as he wishes , the money he got will not help all the people he needs to help because everyone donated this money to him. Claire needs to face Criminal charges for falsely representing this case, this gentleman needs to go to citizens advice lawyers to assist him take her to court.everyone who donated should also report this to the police about Claire. She does not need to get hold of that money at all.

Hey guys, I know you guys cover a lot of the local stories. but before you guys get into the stories can you please give a background of the story for those of us that are not from the UK. Sometime we have no idea what's going on or what happened. For example someone from Africa the US or any other country would not know what the story is. So providing a brief background in the beginning of the podcast will be helpful to follow along with the podcast.
