Scone new church the church hall opposite was where my house was .on the 19th of October 1988 there was a house fire ( we had a timber house ) my mum died in the fire my dad got out .the land ,a third of an acre and the remains of the house were sold to the church and they built the hall …we were married in that church that was 40 years ago for our wedding Anniversary on the 31st March this year we came up and we spent a short time at the Sunday service .we are not at all religious but it tied in so well with it being the 31st on the Sunday ( Saturday 40 years ago )
