Bark River Puukko CPM 3V
Finally we got hold on a Scandinavian Bushcrafter! The Bark River Puukko in CPM 3V steel! Puukko knives are well known in Scandinavia especially up in the North of Norway, Sweden and Finland. It has very characteristic cool look and we were proud that Bark River made a knife like this. So we just needed to order a new knife. And ow boy (and girls) what a knife.....

A BRK Gunny was always my go to. My Puukko has taken its place doing any job as good or better. I love everything about it. Great review gents, thank you.

I bought three of these Bark River Puukko knives.
The problem is with the leather sheaths. The leather sheaths seem rather short for the size of the Puukko.. (The knife keeps falling out!)
Wow 3 puukkos, what kind of handle materials did you choose? That is a major problem that the knife falls out of the sheath! Did you try to modify the shape of the sheath to the knifes shape with warm water? Some suggestions: try to fit the knife into a sheath of another brand like: leather sheath Fällkniven f1, casström no 10 or maybe even the Casström lars fält sheath. Or buy a sheath of the bark river bushcrafter 2. That is a is deeper👍

Hi guys, great video I was curious about this knife.. Bark River are my favorite knives, only the small and mini ones don't fit in my hand as well as I would like.. If you had to choose one bushcraft knife, which would you choose?
We both agreed that it will be the LT Wright Illuminous 5 in cpm 3v. Good size, great steel and knife blade. And very good handle 👍
