That's incredible how much your charisma and strong friendship between you is felt in the videos. It's amazing how similar our (mine, and yours) sense of humor despite the distance of half a planet and a completely different mentality!
You'll find male immaturity is the same the world over
I really like your friendship. You guys are very genuine and fun.
Becker BK7 for heavy gubbins, Mora Garberg Carbon for finer tasks and Spyderco Squeak for EDC
My picks...
Teräävä Skrama - for beating on stuff
Fällkniven S1 Pro - for allaround stuff
Mercator K55K - for pimp stuff
That's a beast that Mickey pulled out of his jacket. Someday I'll buy one
I bought one, sent it straight back, handle had a wobble and it just wasn't worth the money either.
@JOSEF BORG lol Actually...That's the only knife that you can bring on the plane, because as soon as you pull it out, everybody will start screaming and running away from you! The pilot would be already in the cockpit, so he would never know, that you left alone! Great idea there mate!! lol
Those jackets aren't that spendy. ;)
I don’t know why but I’m getting a Sherlock Holmes type vibe from the music choice.
I’d go Benchmade Puukko, SAK Huntsman, and Cold Steel Recon Scout as my three.
Challenge accepted. I just put the video up.
Hi, I just saw the first two videos on your UA-cam channel and I'm already loving them! HIGHLY entertaining and funny, but also informative.😁
Love these! Hope more people take this challenge. Thanks guys!
Love autumn weather as background, very good move guys
Aurora and Gunny look very special. I love seeing you using that knife!
Your friendship is definitely what makes you so enjoyable to watch. An having a crazy sense of humor makes you guys the best. Another fine show
An what the hell kinda pocket you have in that jacket. Lol
Very cool choices. Thank you.
Damn that intro is amazing!!
Guus boy

Guuuuuuus

Keep going DBK guys from all of us in Condom (Yes that’s a town in SW France) 🤦♂️
Damn, we should visit!
Thank you for your invention 😅
Lev Kvarner lol that’s cold 😅
Love the vids guys keep them up 👍🔥👍
Just perfekt talk and perfekt music in the backround!! Post my Three kniven this weekend!!!!! Great video dudas
awesome! thanks a lot
Proud member of the intro dub 🖐
YESS BLESS
same
@@DutchBushcraftKnives missed it about 5 minutes in VC i hope you still love me😉😁
You make my day. Thx gus. Fallkniven is allso my first quality knive. :) Greatings from Czech rep.
Love love love you guys. Great channel
You guys are sooooo great! May your friendship last forever. 🙌🏻
I enjoy your videos since a few years now. Such a great entertainment and I don‘t have to pay for it! 😀 Priceless!
Ahh, btw. the information you are giving us is also very interesting sometimes. 😂
My top-three knives:
TRC Apocalypse, Lamnia Edition
Spyderco Paramilitary 2, S110V
Morakniv Companion
I only choose fixed knives because this is what this channel is about.
In the area of folders there is absolutely no chance to keep only three knives! 😉
Love this vidéo 😄 very fun, thanks guys 😂 ( intro is 👍👍👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙)
Good video as always, even made me think. And that's what I love about you guys, you entertain and enlighten us with your wisdom :D
So anyway, my three pick would be the Bark River Kephart (great all around knife in CPM 3V, thin but sturdy), the Ahti Janka (smaller back-up puukko, good for edc but it's curly birch handle needs some care) and the Cold Steel GI Tanto (for batoning and heavy duty stuff)
awesome! thanks a lto for your kind words!
I only have 4 knives.
1) Bark River Bravo 1.25 LT in CPM 3V
2) Fallkniven F1X
3) Morakniv Garberg Carbon
4) Spyderco Paramilitary 2 in CPM S35VN with black blade coating (folder)
Pretty happy with them. If I get more in the future, the next on my list would be a smaller Bark River, and/or a folder from Benchmade.
All of the fixed blades I have were inspired by the useful information in DBK videos. Keep up the good work! Would love to see more steel performance comparisons, especially for folders.
1) and 4) are two of my picks as well (my personal PM2's are in cruwear and s110v). My third pick would be a carbon steel machete.
1 - Benchmade Bugout in Carbon fiber for EDC.
2 - Fallkniven SK2 Embla for Bushcraft.
3 - Fallkniven NL 3 for bushcraft and showing off ;)
You never let us down 🤣
For me:
Fallkniven S1
Trc k1s
Benchmade mini crooked river
Three knives that I currently own? Pinewood Forge sloyd. Bark River Utility Caper in Elmax. Bark River Puukko in 3V. (I'd use my Svante Djarv small Viking axe for all the "big knife" stuff).
I’m back watching dbk now because it’s finally winter here
Just realized I do the same thing
My three knives are those that I have.
* A Terävä Jääkäripuukko 140, Carbon Steel.
* An Opinel Nbr 8 Stainless .. EDC.
* A Swiss Army Knife (Model ?) bought back in 1968 .. I have others but this is my favourite .. got it during my National Military Service.
Others with great sentimental value include a Solingen Bowie bought back in the early 70's, a Kershaw Outlaw Bill Folder from the 80's, an Okapi Folder in Carbon Steel (bought 1972 in South Africa at the local Mine Concession Store on the Gold Mine that I worked on .. used (and abused) mainly Underground .. a real work horse).
Great Choises!!
My Kellam Wolverine, Mora blade blank with a stacked Applewood and Willow wood handle I made. Tramotina jackknife. You guys rock.🤙🤙
Fallkniven A2, barkriver fox river and my little benchmade hidden canyon hunter, all great knives and I love em another great video as always guys 😁😁 also if anyone is curious I use the barkriver as my EDC most days.
Thats a hell of a challenge son!! Aight bet video coming shortly. Love the channel fellas great job!!
I am glad one of you included an EDC, though I like the lightweight PM3 be than the bugout. I would also take my Aurora but with Cru-Wear. Then probably an Atroposknife Demon to flip for fun because the other two are capable of handling all the work.
7:15 - truer words have never been spoken on this channel 😂😂😂 I fucking love you guys ❤️🤣
Maarten for sure made better choices. My choice: Pocket tool SAK Farmer. Small camp knife Enzo/Brisa Elver with G10 handle scales, 12C27 steel for food prep and small wood work. My Tramontina wooden handle 12" blade machete with canvas (Ontario) sheath for bigger work.
once again good stuff
finally you guys are in my recommended again, been subscribed for ever but for some reason youtube refused to show your videos
The collection is pretty small, but these are the three I would choose today.
-Benchmade Puukko
-Condor HD Kukri
-EDC Vitorinox RangerGrip Hunter
-Buddies knife - Gerber StrongArm
Small but effective! You can't get much better than that, in terms of functionality.
My top 3 knives I would keep are an original Becker Knife and Tool BK-7 (not the new Ka-bar version). A Fallkniven A1, and a Bark River Tundra (a knife that seems to me a cross between an Aurora and a Canadian). And I do have a Bugout for an edc.
Please, please, please test 2 identical Bark River knives, one in Cru-Wear, and the other CPM 3V. Do 5 feathersticks, ferro rod fire test, then rope cutting until it doesn't cut paper. I think testing in this order would give everyone a good idea of which steel would be best for their necessity. I spend 5-6 days at a time backpacking, and this would simulate real use.
You guys rock!
If you have to sharpen it while out, cru-wear. If you are likely to use it in a way that might chip it or make it curl over, cru-wear. Otherwise, 3V.
Would highly recommend L.T. Wright Knives for y'all to test out. Outstanding quality and designs. I just picked up their Woodland Pro 4.0 and am loving it!!!
Great video guys
I pick:
Cold Steel drop forged boot knife
SURVIVE! GSO-4.1
Victorinox Farmer x
I have that Fallkniven MB. Great pick! Its a beast!
Nice work!
SAK Huntsman, Benchmade Leuku, Mora companion for me
Bark river bravo 3v
Benchmade pukko
Half face blades Crow scout
Good video. My three picks from my collection would be the Turley Gasconade, Turkey Bombardier, and Microtech UTX 70.
Spyderco PM2, Bark River Bravo 1, and Battlehorse fixed blade with a 3 inch blade of 01 tool steel.
Thanks for another fun video.
Bugout rules! Meeer folders mannen!!!! Lekker edc mesjes!!!!
For me: Tops knives MSK 2.5, Becker BK2, Spyderco para 3.
My Terävä Skrama 240, Carbon for chopping and stuff (the obvious choice), my Terävä Jääkäripuukko 140, Carbon for carving and woodling work, and for EDC, I have to go with my Civivi Odium, as my Steel Will Cutjack C22 is to large for legal carry in Denmark. I would prefer the Cutjack since it is the perfect pocket knife; super slim/flat but still holds amazing ergonomics and the blade is basically a small kitchen knife, capable at anything you throw at it.
Denmark has retarded knife/weapon laws. It's a Kindergarten society.
2 knives is all I need.
A Mora 510 as my workhorse and my Opinel No.8 for food prepping and EDC tasks.
Both in carbon steel and cheap enough to discard/replace at any given moment
1.mora robust,2.f1,....3 condor moonshiner, you guys are bloody cool, nearly as cool as me.keep up the great work!!!
Chris reeves Green Beret 7, bark river aurora, spyderco shaman
Did you know you can use the jimping on the Shaman as a front flipper. I found out by accident.
Great vid.
Confirms om getting F1 Cos shortly, i love the F1 vg10 but it seems logical! Keep up the good work chaps! From UK!
The best channel to knives !!!
Seeing this for the first time, I'll add mine. My first is a pocketknife: Knifecenter exclusive Kizer Gemini with push-button lock and CPM-4V steel. Everyday carry friendly, 4V steel tough. Second: Bark River JX6 Companion in CPM-Magnacut steel. Ulu-inspired blade (a nod to my Eskimo heritage) and incredible steel. Third: Busse ASH. Runner up for the Busse would be my Terävä Skrama 240 with carbon 80CrV2 steel.
the only 3 i can have. a cold steel SRK....a cold steel kukri and a kershaw leek....
All great choices.
I would choose the Cold Steel AD10 , my Victorinox Swiss Champ and Mora. Thanks
My three knifes would be:
Cold Steel Trailmaster
Fallkniven A1
Cold Steel Vaquero Grande
Thank you, thank you.....thanks a lot.
0:01 the best intro music in 2020.
There is no better channel for knives in Poland. What are your favorite knives?
Dutch Poland Knives?
@@levkvarner9865 interesting idea
I actually thought quite long about this.
My choice (of the knives I actually own) would be:
1. TRC Apocalypse (DBK edition with convex grind) - love it for the woods, almost nothing this thing cannot do
2. White River M1 - my go-to compact fixed knife, has been around the world with me and serves as a rugged all-purpose knife
3. Spyderco Shaman - hands down my most carried EDC folder, very tough and also fun to fidget ;)
Then again, it would break my heart to ditch all the rest.
All that beautiful steel...
Enjoyed the video DBK boys and even more because today was my bloody birthday! Anyway, since I don't have a massive collection my 3 keepers would be my BR Gunny Scandi, Tops BOB 154cm and my BR Crusader 3V
I been using the s1 pro with a victornox hunter series. After edcing for 2 years now. Im thinking is just a little heavy and has limitations as for everyday task. The main reason i chose the s1 pro is because its the best batoner for its size. It holds a edge massively well. But i guess i really want to try out the legendary feel of the bark river aurora. Just because of the handle the size and the weight saving. So im open to it especially if you carry a pistol. Saving weight is a must. Especially if your b.o.b weighs 35lbs already.
Ive many knives , but the three I keep ; Barkriver Jx6 in Elmax, Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter , Swiss army "Handyman". Runner up BM 940. You two have an epic knife collection, this must have been hard.
this is gonna be good
My three.
Heavyweight champion is the Cold Steel SRK sk5. Brutally tough and yet very affordable. A great big boy in the woods.
Middle weight champion is the Mora Pro-S stainless steel. Strong enough for any reasonable task and holds an edge forever. Wonderful product!
EDC champion is the Victorinox Ranger folder. Enough tools to be genuinely useful and yet small enough for carry in the pocket without any preconceived bulk. Always with me.
"The sheath is a complete leather jacket in itself" 😅😅😅😅
1. Wander Tactical LYNX
2. BR ultralight bushcrafter
3. Benchmade mini Grip. 555-1 VK
The ultralight is solid any day anytime and the mini grip is a great knife!!
I am on a tight budget so mine are a bit less special: Lionsteel m4 for medium bushcraft work, coldsteel leatherneck for bigger tasks. Victorinox as EDC since i can use it for screws, beer and much more
Lionsteel M4 is amazing. Lovely practical design, great handle good materials and 390steel works superb. For only 150 euro's. I have been using it for two months now...very satisfied....and also a beautifull leather sheeth. So the lion steel is definately not less special. It is outstanding. It is my edc
@@rogierdalsemvan8204 when I saw Lionsteel m4 few years ago I knew that it is my perfect knife and I wanted it ever since. I could not afford it for 150, but I had luck few weeks ago and found it new for 90 euro. And when I have it now in my hand it is even better than imagined. It is really my perfect knife. Im glad to hear that you have good experience with it.
@@rogierdalsemvan8204 Lionsteel M4 as most knives with v edge, needs a bit of convexing to remove that v edge. Also you have to raise that bevel, because it's not only too thick behind the edge, it also has too thick edge bevel angle . I admit it has the best handle ergos out there!! Armatus makes some great kydex sheaths for it! Best general use knife, at that size. Pair it with an axe and a Bahco saw and you 're golden!!
@@Xallov Micarta Lionsteel M4, is the best version. It has the best balance and weight of them all and last time i Checked the Knives and tools, they had it for 130 euros, which is a great value for what you get. It's handle ergos are from another planet (especially the micarta)!!! Enjoy
Im glad everyone else is as obsessed as I am
The bk7
Mora basic, stainless
Victorinox stainless paring knife
The newer model of Victorinox Paring knife. is the best Paring knife ever created IMO. Great choises there!
Bark River Bravo 1 in 3V. Would bet my life on this knife for heavy use.
Lionsteel M4 in M390. For lighter, finer tasks and great stainless option.
Spyderco PM2 in S30V. My EDC pocket knife for several years now.
Zero Tolerance ZT 0630
Fallkniven S1
Becker BK9 (stripped, Mustard patina, micarta scales, kydex sheath)
honorable mentions:
Spyderco Para 2
Fallkniven A1
Spyderco Bill Moran Drop Point
Spyderco Street Beat
S1x , or S1?
Becker BK2 for tough firewood tasks. Benchmade leuko Cpm-3V for medium tasks. Morakniv craftline pro stainless for lighter carving/edc.
Hultafors Ok4 for bushcrafting and general use. Boker Plus Strike Tanto for edc. Shun Gokujo for boning and filleting animals.
Definitely my Fallkniven A1 for starters, second knife would be my bark river bravo 1 LT in cruwear, and my edc is definitely my Benchmade presidio in cf elite
Bravo LT for sure😆
Small: brisa bobtail 80
Medium: esee 4 440c
Large: becker bk9
becker bk7
you guys know each other so well
Hey! I like your Vans t-shirt. I have one of those too, I wanted one that said "trucks". I couldn't find one so had to settle for "vans".
Leatherman surge...
Benchmade freak...
Ka-bar becker bk9.... Cold steal shovel
luf you dudes keeep up the knifeworks ;-)
Ontario Rat 1 (D2) for EDC
USMC K-Bar (1095) for hard use
Grimsro Norsemen for the flex
BUGOUT ! excelent choice same as mine
Tops SXB for chopping/batoning
Tops BOB for general stuff or Tops Operator 7 as it’s more pointier
Tops Tom Brown Tracker 4 for skinner and small stuff or Tops MSK 2.5
I have all five and can’t fault any of them. A very difficult choice but the SXB as a one tool option.
0:40 “for, sp-MAKING THIS HAPPEN” lol nice save guys!
Hahahaha yea, We wish they were sponsoring us! We want PLAIN MONEYYY
Dutch Bushcraft Knives don’t we all want PLAIN MONEY. man I’ve just recently started watching you guys a couple months ago and I LOVE your content. You guys are hilarious and super informative about your knife reviewing. You’re editing skills are top notch and makes your videos almost cinematic. Your music choices are always perfect for every situation. I haven’t watched a ton yet but I’d love to see some more folding knife vids/reviews! The benchmade bugout one was amazing
Bradford guardian 4.5 cpm3v carbon fibre lads come on get it done!💪
Teräävä Skrama
Lionsteel M4
Benchmade Bugout
You are Golden! I would only shange, the Bugout, with a Victorinox Explorer.
That was fun!
My choice: 1. Cold Steel Trail Master San Mai III, rather than the Falkniven (for the heavy stuff)
2. Cold Steel SRK (either the San Mai III or the sabre grind version), for the belt
3. ESEE Izula II (for the fiddly stuff!).
Hultafors ok4 because it's an absolute machine and I don't mind punishing it.
Blackfox companion because it's beautiful, it's big, it's 440c and it was a gift so sentimental.
Spyderco tenacious because I just use it all the time and it's amazing for a reasonably priced folder
Teräävä Skrama - for the big'n dirty stuff
Böker Kormoran - for bushcrafting
Böker Caracal Folder - gift from my beloved mom (will never give it away)
My 3 are cold steel 4max scout. Cold steel recon 1 and kabar bk Becker 2
You guys are top. Need your help. Please advise a good, not very expensive knife. And what is better to take a stone for sharpening a knife?
check out the Terava Jaakaripuukko from varusteleka. Stones are the msot versatile way for knife sharpening
@@DutchBushcraftKnives OK. Thank you so much. please tell me what grain size to take a stone for sharpening?
Mmmm NICE your videos are the best guys....
I am Lucky to oben a F1 Cos and Benchmade 200 puko thanks to you guys..... Cheers from Germany
If I had to pick 3 they would probably be
1 Mora Garberg Carbon: for general belt knife duty and carving.
2 Bark river Bravo 2 (in 3V): for when you need something to get the heavy stuff done or need more knife
CRKT Mah-chete: for chopping wood, clearing brush or just generally beating on.
Runners up would be a Victorinox ranger grip, Benchmade Griptilian and maybe a Mora Eldris.
Being more than likely, I'd go: Bark River JX5 in 3V, Ambush Alpha Gen 2 in 3v, and Long Humphrey Bridger in 52100. I have also a Final run of the Peter Kohler inspired collaboration with Mike Stewart at Bark River, Grizzly in 3V and was tough to leave off. But, the JX5 is just a Brute of a Chopper.
Fallkniven F1 VG10, Fallkniven F4 VG10 and my custom knife of my own design by Oz Hughes of Bonsai knives the Forrest Santoku. You guys should have eaten chillies, last time was hilarious! Much love from Scotland. 🤘🗡️
You GENTS have a GREAT CHEMISTRY !
mickey rethinkin life now haha
That was pretty 😄 funny. I also wasn’t thinking about a folder at all
Can you test the CRKT Seismic? They say the blade wil break before the lock.
