Kaan idea wasn't bad it's execution sucked though. Bane's idea to destroy 90% of the dark side power and knowledge was foolish and shortsighted. His teaching have more holes than cheese does. And we saw it failed. The Bane sith order died with Sidious.
The Brotherhood of Darkness was the only truly viable Dark Side order, because they abandoned the tenets of the Sith in favour of practicality. The Sith are inherently self-destructive. Like Darth Nihilus, consumed by his own power, the Sith's only path is one of infighting and greed that will destroy them. It ruined the original Sith, it ruined the Revanchist Sith, it ruined the True Sith, it ruined Vitiate, it ruined the New Sith constantly, and in the end, it ruined the Order of the Sith Lords. Their ways will lead only to one's own end.
I always liked the idea of Anakin being *both* the Jedi Chosen One and the Sith'ari. Bringing the Sith to the height of their power by destroying the Jedi, but then turning around and bringing balance to the Force by ending the Sith.
Kaan will always be a reminder for Bane to what the Sith Failure is, and that is the absolute weakness of individuals who believe they are the ones to control the Dark Side through equality rather than struggle. It is true that the Sith are their own worst enemy, but it is through that struggle that makes them that powerful, but the brotherhood was a mockery of that strength and made the Sith all the weaker compared to the Old Sith Empire.
The sith believe equality is a lie but are willing to use that belief for their own ends. Looks at what palpatine did. But Bane knew that kaan and the brotherhood actually believed equality was possible, and in doing so they were weak in his eyes
At least at first, Kaan's rhetoric about "equality" was a blatant sham to trick other Sith into following him. Regardless of the pretenses he made, he was the absolute ruler of the Brotherhood of Darkness. By the end, while Kaan had gone completely insane. And that can't be blamed *solely* on Bane's manipulations. On paper, Kaan's system seems like a good idea. But in practice, it's even less stable than a a typical Sith empire because it's absolutely reliant on a sufficiently charismatic leader who can convince his minions that they're his "equals" and keep them going along with the idea. Even in the absence of Bane's sabotage and manipulation, eventually it would've fallen apart the instant Kaan died. None of the other "dark lords" in his council had what it took to keep the Brotherhood together. There would've been another of your typical Sith power struggles, leading to Lord Hoth or whoever succeeded him stomping the survivors into the ground.
Know this: Kaan merely adopted the dark. Bane was born in it and molded by it. He didn’t see the light until he was already a man and by then it was merely BLINDING.

Agreed. Loved how he tricked Kahn into using a force-created version of a nuclear weapon.
@@brianrunyon266 And it shows that Dooku's version of the Sith would never work.
@@savagedarksider2147it would but only if the leading dark lord is too powerful for any of their underlings to challenge them, that’s how vitiate ruled the sith for over a thousand years
Kaan idea wasn't bad it's execution sucked though. Bane's idea to destroy 90% of the dark side power and knowledge was foolish and shortsighted. His teaching have more holes than cheese does. And we saw it failed. The Bane sith order died with Sidious.
@@thomaswest2583 Well, it really died with Plagueis.
This could be a movie like start here move to bane and from that go with the rule of 2 sith
I wish
Anyway Valentine's ship.
Someone give that thing to Hondo Ohnaka.
This is Canon for me!
It always will be
Virgin Kaan < Chad Bane
The Brotherhood of Darkness was the only truly viable Dark Side order, because they abandoned the tenets of the Sith in favour of practicality. The Sith are inherently self-destructive. Like Darth Nihilus, consumed by his own power, the Sith's only path is one of infighting and greed that will destroy them. It ruined the original Sith, it ruined the Revanchist Sith, it ruined the True Sith, it ruined Vitiate, it ruined the New Sith constantly, and in the end, it ruined the Order of the Sith Lords. Their ways will lead only to one's own end.
I highly recomend the darth bane books 👀👌 especialy the first 2, the last one is alright, but 1 and 2 truly capture who bane was
Who is the true sith’ari Bane who created the plan of Sidious who carried out the plan?
In my opinion it was bane, since without him sidious never would have rose to power
I always liked the idea of Anakin being *both* the Jedi Chosen One and the Sith'ari. Bringing the Sith to the height of their power by destroying the Jedi, but then turning around and bringing balance to the Force by ending the Sith.
What a cursed title
Even if Darth Bane hadn't done what he did, I think he Kahn still would have been taken out. Probably by Lord kopecz.
Rember its thought bomb not thot bomb.
Can’t it be both?
@@jakealter5504 well it DID kill Githany so yes
@@chrischin_94 exactly
3:49 😕
8m with Darth bane
Cringe Khan was no match for Darth Based
So yes you are a fan of this channel . Wait till you get a load of their other one . The Front . Give it a go .
Wait, what happened with sith history?
I have a feeling this is still a part of it but they stopped titling it?
