This all sounded great, and sold me on the creation space screwdriver. I bought one and I was highly disappointed when it couldn't be used as a screwdriver. This video definitely leads you to believe that the motor, or some mechanism will lock when the driver isn't being powered. It doesn't. You can apply a little bit of torque, but very little. Certainly not enough to tighten things reasonably. I thought maybe mine was defective, but I contacted the company I bought it from and they told me that it isn't meant to be used as an unpowered driver and I should have a second screwdriver on hand for that. Funny, since it has the swiveling end-piece and everything about it screams that it's made for that, but no, it isn't. Sad. That one change would have made it the perfect driver. It wasn't very strong, but it was strong enough if you could loosen and finish tightening manually. It wasn't as fast as some others either. Missed opportunity. So much was right.
Interesting, both of the screwdrivers I have lock. I wonder if there was a change in design. Not being able to lock makes it a no go for me, as I want to feel how tight I'm tightening the screw. What a shame, I'll pin this comment so others can find it. Thanks for sharing your experience!
@@1D10CRACY If so, I'd love to know if anyone finds a source for the older ones. I assumed it was one of those situations where someone was trying to design something they wanted to use and then some bean counter came in and started making design decisions to hit a price point. So much was right, and that one major issue.
one note for xiaomi (have one, just had to do servis and replace gears). 1. tips are 3.95mm and most others are 4.00mm so you can't use other bits in side it. (most of the time) 2. it for low tork use. i was pushing my and striped some gears inside. 3. it can be fix. but you will have to break some plastic clips holding the parts (not a big deal, it's still usable)
@@LordAnubis0909 that cap is the charging port and the torque switch rotating cap aswell, how did u even break it and when u did how have u managed to switch between torque levels?
I've been looking at the Vessel electric screwdriver, they have a highspeed version (with low torque) that would be great for electronic assembly, it has a high torque clutch for tightening by hand after you drive the screw in. I'm just on the fence about dropping ~$70 on it
Hey {{3}}, based on my experience and the features mentioned in the post, I would highly recommend considering the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It offers powerful vacuuming, blowing capabilities, and versatile accessories for various uses. The reasonable price and good quality make it a solid choice for optimizing your cleaning routine. Give it a try!

@@quebirt the mechanism locks when it's powered, though, right? click the button and then torque the screws?
Hello where did you buy it from and which model was it?
Love CreationSpace more because of removable battery 😊

Which area is plastic in it tho,?
@@雪アンアン cap on top. Mostlikely you will lose clips there.
But after fix i'm still using it.

And the gears, what are they like and can u replace them on ur own? Where can u find spare parts?
Absolutely the removable batt is GREAT concept. Use tool while charging your spare batt. of course!
I personally like the last one.
Excellent reviews as always!!
I've seen good things on the Fanttik E1 Max.

Do they come with the iphone p and y bits?
Very important to mention this in your reviews
Price went WAY up , thanks FJB! Great screwdriver, the Creationspace one that's got the removable batt.
there are better version out now:
- $40 Arrowmax: 4 speed, nice led display
- $31 Jakemy JM-Y02: 8 Speed
they already got rid of it from the website for the creation space model so iam guessing to may problems which is the norm for them
The knurled one is no longer available or i can't find it.
Which one is better in your opinion?

So which one is best?
Out of all the ones I've used, both are the best ones I've used so far. :D I use them both.
@@1D10CRACY have you tried creationspace cs19? Has 2.5nm torque and 2000mah battery
Don't have Led the lack of it
