My grandpa had a safe full of stuff that he wasn’t super like passionate about hiding if somebody broke in so he hit a bunch of shit that he didn’t care about in places that weren’t obvious so everything that was valuable was in a random ass location like in a cupboard in a jar and then like all of the stuff he was just buying and selling off eBay so random silver, dollars baseball cards comics valuable stuff but something he could part with if a robbery came that wouldn’t make him go broke his gold or somewhere else, the valuable gems, and everything was other places stuff like that, and the safe was unlocked so if somebody broken and he was there, he would just direct them there because he never really Carried his gun on him, but if they did ever like push him to go likes her to her house or get everything, he would go over to his room where he has a rack of jackets and keys and say I need to get something out of my jacket because that’s where he leaves his keys and that’s where he hid his gun just in case, his overall plan was to make it if a robbery happened, he could make it have a little damage as possible, and make it happen as quickly as possible which in reality, it isn’t a bad idea if you make it easy for the robbers to find something they might just get out quick
@@Hellothis12157knbhb my strategy is to just hide the safe really well and drum up the "i'm 100% online with money" spiel because as far as anyone is concerned, my safe in sweden has 2 guns and my passport in it while my safes in the US has some industrial diamonds in them (i.e. not jewerly grade so basically worthless)
Lock picking lawyer opening locks, Mcnelly opening doors, now Brian opening safes, at this point I'm just going to live on a slab of concrete, go by the Honor system. If y'all want it, just take it and sign your name on the spot where it was 🤣
Could you imagine robbing someone with a that kind small safe? Robber 1: okay we're inside Robber 2: I found the safe Robber 1: alright, now to find the code *loud crash* Robber 1: What was that? Robber 2 (from the other room): I opened the safe Robber 1: *sees opened safe on floor* what did you do? Robber 2: (giggles) I dropped it
A hotel that my dad regularly went to remodeled. In that remodel, they put the safe in a drawer and the drawer slides were removable. My dad knew the entire bell staff, concierge, and the general manager at this hotel. He walked down to the front desk with the safe.
One hotel I stayed at, every time you opened the safe you could enter a new pin, no previous pin’s would work. Not sure if there was a reset button or not, but I thought it was clever.
Instead of wrapping it on the top, it just needs to bounce a little. Place it on a couch or bed and lightly bounce it while turning the lock… takes half a dozen bounces and is a lot quieter. It’s shocking, the amount of people that have these safes and don’t mount them.
Most safes if you have access to something like an excavator or whatever are easy to open if you just mess the door in a little bit then pry the sides n top open enough to swing the door open. I usually cut the hinges but not always necessary

except almost ALL hotel safes can be picked with a universal lock rake pick..
Got a question for you guys
@@bigD1988 ?
The reason I bought a small safe was for fire protection.
I don't actually lock it.
Careful, I am not sure which model you have but some are not as affective in fires if you do not lock it.
@@th1ssucks most fire-resistant safes arent even all that fire-resistant in optimal conditions

Generally, you buy safes like this for fire protection, not security
That poke reset thing was how I opened the safe I had as a kid since I could never remember the combo.
I did the same thing too one time. I used a broken backstratcher to be specific

Electronic saves often have mechanical backup locks. Some are BAD.

LPL opened this one with a popsicle stick iirc.
Perhaps this was a reason for all the safes falling from buildings in old cartoons? 1929?

So basically 😂 “if you give the electronic safe a seizure, it won’t work for a split second and tadah!”
