iPhone 14 Plus Long-Term Honest Review!
Going from an iPhone 8 to the iPhone 14 Plus made me feel like stepping into a new chapter. My iPhone 14 plus is my graduation gift from my aunt which I’m more than truly thankful of and I’ve been using my iPhone 14 plus for 2 weeks now and based on my experience, the battery life is just mind-blowing. From 100-65% of battery usage from day time until night time is more than just enough that I needed for my usage which is why I don’t have to worry charging my iPhone 14 plus at night and I will never regret that I chose the right phone for myself.

Does the 14 plus feel the same as the 8 plus but with major upgrades , because i’m thinking about upgrading from my 8 plus but i’m not sure what iphone model to buy?
I went from a X to a 12 to a 14 plus. And battery life has been top notch compared to what I had prior. Very happy with it

I’ve been waiting for this. I upgraded from a iPhone 11 about 4 months ago. I absolutely love this phone. Batter life is amazing. And I’m not missing the pro features so this is perfect for me.
I've had this phone since launch (7 months), I plan on having it for at least 3 years (which is how long I had my XR). This phone still feels brand new to me. Comparing to my old XR, this has a bigger screen, smaller notch, better battery life and better (and additional) cameras. This phone was made for someone like me, all I really care about is screen size and battery life.
The only downside of this phone, is that the camera has a hard time focusing on images up close when I open up the camera app. I have to manually adjust the focus to get it to work. I never had that issue with my XR. (maybe has to do with XR being a single camera). I use my ipad charger to charge this phone, still at 100% battery capacity.
When I get the iphone 17 or 18, I will be able to get the cheaper model and it will probably be still a big upgrade compared to the iphone 14 plus.
If you are one of those people who get a new phone every year, I can see why you would skip this though.
I totally agree. I came from an XR myself, and tbh this phone is incredible for me. I love the display, the battery, the speed and just the overall user experience. I’ve had it for about 10 months now, and I still enjoy using it every day. I will say though, I got this phone on an insane Christmas deal for $280, so I couldn’t beat that. I don’t know if I would have paid full price

just got this phone, since honestly, I need the storage and screen size, compared to camera quality, pro features, and the "dynamic island". I personally think the 14 plus is fit just for me since I don't need all fancy features, I'm just glad I got a phone upgrade form my iPhone XR

Have this phone for a month now and it’s absolutely fantastic- I wanted a big screen and great battery life and this thing delivers in spades. Also got it 200 $ off so a bargain. Didn’t want to get pushed into pro max with its heft, weight and price tag. So yeah- UA-camrs hate it, users love it, especially coming from older phone like iPhone X or Xr.
I have the Xr planning to upgrade to the 14 plus, worth?

@@TipsyMcStumble82 I can get 2 days with one charge. For example from 4:15 Monday to Tuesday 22:00 and I always charge it if its 20%. I have to say that I am not a heavy user.
I upgraded from the product red XR to the blue 14 plus back in January and I still love this phone so much. I spend A LOT of time on this phone day-to-day, so the user experience is incredible. I’ll be keeping this until the iPhone 18 most likely.
However, I’m not sure if I would have paid full price for it. I got it on an insane deal (only $280 brand new) so I’m getting my moneys worth.
Got the 14 Plus in January. Very satisfied with the purchase. Although I may upgrade to a Pro 15 model for the upgrade in a new chipset and the promotion display.
Upgraded from 7 to 14 Plus on 30th March.. I'm rocking it...

I agree that this phone is overpriced but I bought it over the pro max for its lightness and it's been a game changer for me. So easy to manipulate. I also prefer the notch over the dynamic island which I find intrusive. Thanks for the great review Nick.

why would you say overpriced, the only issue with this phone is refresh rate, all other things like chip, design and feels, as well as iOS is superior

I don’t understand the hate for this phone. I got this after the 12 pro max (had a 1k promo towards a new phone) and I love it. It’s lighter and the battery life is amazing. Also I don’t miss the stainless steel from the max.
I also have a 7 plus and it’s still going strong . 14 plus is absolutely amazing
I feel you, people hate it cause it's "expensive" and is worst then a 13 pro max, but what they don't know is, that the 14 plus have a better gpu than the 13 pro max but same a15. Overall performance is better on 14 plus, cameras I'll give to 13 pro max but the quality in photos are hard to compare which is which 😂

I am eyeing on getting this as my first iPhone. Been a long time android user. I hope the pricing will be cut a bit when the iP15 series comes out. The 120HZ is something that I am not really happy not getting by that price.

My XS Max is still doing alright for now. Batterylife isn't great, even at launch. But I do think the 14 Plus is a familiar upgrade for XS Max users once the price of 14's go down with future releases.

Yes. I have an xs max now. I notice that it’s slower than my 13 so I will probably trade in tomorrow for 14 plus. It’s only $30 from T-Mobile. Ima try that one.

I was so heartbroken when my iPhone 13 mini broke. It was my favorite iPhone ever. I loved the size the look, everything. I almost got another mini, still miss the mini but I thought maybe it’s easier to type with a bigger model. There were no regular 14s in red so I decided to go with the 14 plus this time. I worried about the weight the most but for me who mostly uses Apple Music and watch movies at cafes it’s just perfect. It’s a bigger version of my favorite iPhone. I appreciate the pro models, and for iPads I always go for the pro models. But it’s so easy to break a phone, and when you love taking photos and recording blues jam nights and doing little short movies for fun the pro models just weight too much for me. The battery life is incredible! It’s personal preference also but I just prefer how the standard models look, I prefer the colours. One day I might consider a pro max model if they can get the weight down and if they have the nice colours the standard models do. But I dunno. I’d rather spend the money on the iPad Pro experience or Mac than on the phone personally. These cameras are more than enough on the standard models 🙏. And on a phone I’m not so concerned about 120hz. That’s what my TV is for.
Nick I can’t decide whenever I should go for a plus or regular sized iPhone model. I currently have the 12 pro, it’s a great phone and I love it, I just hate that it drop calls and that my battery health dying, I plan to trade it In

I owned 120hz phones but I never use the feature! I always use 60HZ so using the 14 plus in midnight black is a dream! Obviously I would of liked to see 120hz regarding the price tag but I do value the battery life that but more, plus iOS is fast and snappy and responsive I don’t seem to bothered! Excellent camera’s obviously very similar to pro models other than less zoom and when you digital zoom there would be less detail but it’s enough for me! And the performance is overpowered and I love it!! I adore top class performance and the A15/16 is the fastest chips on Yt market though the 8gen2 chips do have better GPUs but apps on IOS are more optimised! Battery life again is fantastic and I never have to worry about the battery ever! I always charge my phone at night and before I go to bed I take it off charge to eliminate any risks or battery’s overheating !! But I am looking forward to the 15 series!!

I honestly came from the S23 Ultra because I hated the phone. I got the iPhone 14 Plus, honestly, yes the 60HZ is very disappointing for the cost of the phone, however, the phone itself is a great device!!!
I love the phone. Great battery, great display, works great as well. The 60HZ honestly does not bother me one bit. This phone is absolutely worth it!

I just got it secondhand in mint condition.
It’s not heavy and it feels great overall.
If I got the pro then it would feel heavier and bulky.
The big screen is not to big. Just perfect.
I bought the 15pro max and returned it, too many issues. I tried to find the 14 pro max but couldn’t find it….ima give this phone a try let’s see how it goes

Since the 14 plus is known for lesser sales, I guess ypu can say that whoever uses 14 plus would be using something that would be a relatively rare sight to see, it's kinda like the Honda Civic Coupe of phones.

Sir, i bought the same phone from online shopping website. It’s a brand new phone and under warranty. When i saw my friend’s same model, I started thinking why my phone’s display is more brighter which looks like a normal phone display where his phone’s display actually looks like an iPhone’s patented display. I have been using iphone since it was iphone 3g hence I am pretty sure about this. Pls help me here…

Both my mom and dad have this phone and let’s just say it very hard to use it with one hand I prefer using my phone which is just the regular iPhone 14 product red the only reason I didn’t get the plus was because I want a phone that I can use easily with one hand

I really don’t understand the fuss about 60 vs 120 refresh rate. Especially for average users. iphone has always scrolled just fine with no glitching.

I’ve had the 14 plus since release , it’s an overpriced average phone , came from an iPhone 11. 60hz on a large screen is noticeable I don’t know weather it’s my phone but I get occasional stutters and freezing also the difference in cameras compared with the iPhone 11 is marginal imo .. can’t wait to sell it!

In my opinion, Apple made a huge mistake replacing the mini lineup with the plus. Not only is it too big but it also is like $200 more. On top of that, it got the a15 processor instead of the a16 which is just lazy. Then it didn't get dynamic island or the promotion. If you are charging $899, more like $1000 with taxes then you can't cut corners and pay a pro type of price. Because of that, I just never was interested in either the 14 or 14 plus. Not when you can go to the used market and get an iPhone a few years old and get the same experience more less

The way people review this phone annoys the heck out of me. It’s like they want it to be the 14 Pro Max while knowing it isn’t. So they knock it for every pro feature it’s missing. It’s so weird.

Battery life is ridiculous. I really get 2 days out if it easily. Display is superior to any android I've used (even with QhD). Something about the panel itself that's distinctively unique. Siri is super fast and responsive, doesn't repeat commands and just does it. My first Iphone and loving it!
All the hate on this plus version is superfluous/generated because even with this being my first Iphone, I can see how there's little if any difference between this and the pro. Doesn't have the island or the advanced bionic chip but neither is worth the additional $300!! Played with both for hours at the store and wasn't sold on the pro max. If anything, the plus shaved off sales that might have gone to the max version.

Great review, altho, please, don't compare iphone to any other brand, iphone miles away, even if android best phone would cost 10x Less I would not consider this piece of.., any iphone beats any android phone is SIMPLE as that, UI, durability, longevity, feels, SECURITY, integrations and TECH - Apple is the best, comparing it to something else is just irritating
