Just had one delivered today for my 90 year old father. It was on sale for $630 - I was looking for an older used but couldn’t resist this price for a new one.
I got it for the “senior mode” and also Siri. His eyesight is degrading rapidly and he is getting frustrated with his old Samsung smaller phone.

Got this in November of ‘23. Do wish I had the 3 lenses for my occasional nature photography but it’s been my best phone. And yeah, I also have (1st Gen. 2020) iPhone 2020 that I use around the house. Funny. I saw no need for 15 and, unless there is a marked improvement with the processor, will not be getting the 16 in August. Thx!!
Yeah I've had my iPhone 14 plus (product red) since it dropped. It's my first iPhone in my life. I wanted to see what Apple and iOS had to offer.I'm team Android. I keep it for family reasons. Battery life is epic. I use it every once in a while. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work my friend.

Just bought it 3 days ago. Was £679, is the battery still okay on ios 17.5? Saved couple 100 on getting on 15 plus. Wife has the 15pro max. Had a xs max before battery was really bad
Man that's the same with the 15 plus my wife has! The battery life is stupid good!! I think she got like 10hrs screen on time the other day and plugged it in at like 5% or under my 15 pro is like almost 7 and a half hours screen time max which is okay it works for me I did the trade off for better screen and better camera
My most favourite phone by far! Gave mine to my mom and switched to 14 Pro Max. But I still miss it so much.
The only two drawbacks I had were the 60hz screen and no telephoto.

Nice video! I wish you would've done a Amazon renewed video I look for those all the time. You're absolutely right id take an iPhone 14+ over the pixel 8a i also believe apple will support these new phones longer than ever now that Samsung & Google are.
My favorite iPhone is my 13 mini, I loved the 14 Plus when I tried it but I enjoy one handed use and the fit in my pocket more. So the mini wins but the 14 plus was surprisingly light and comfortable for its size, I know people complain about the notch but it’s practically nonexistent when using the phone.
It’s less disturbing than the Dynamic Island, obviously Android and the center camera cutout is the cleanest look but I feel like iPhone 12-14 are what I call semi-modern. Meaning they aren’t the newest modern model but are new enough to be a viable option for most consumers today.
I got a blue/gray model 14 plus. I had product red but unfortunately it broke and the blue was the one they had in stock. Sucks because I love the red, but the blue is quite nice surprisingly. Came off an s21+. The 14 plus is under rated imo. Keeps up with heavy usage so easily. Only thing I miss about android is the customization.
Only the 128GB but it's currently £599 in the UK on Amazon brand new. Great deal. Use both iOS and android but this is a sleeper phone at that price.
I find it to be one of the best iPhones. I bought it almost 7 months ago for $550 used. I prefer smaller phones like my pixel 8 but the battery life on the 14 plus was the best I ever experienced.
What about the battery? Because I don’t use phones without 5.000 mAh minimum. All the iPhone had in the past lack of a powerful battery.
Most people (especially if they're coming from Android) want a big screen, not a tiny one from ten years ago!
That's a prime requisite.
The (main) reason for switching to Apple, is how well and less buggy the software is.
I had the 14 plus the battery life is amazing people still sleep on it but it’s a phenomenal phone

My biggest reasons for not wanting a i phone is 60 hertz refresh and lack of customization and I might as well face it I'm a Android man.

My mistake. You're right about the 14 pro but the 14 plus only has 60 hertz refresh. That being said I prefer android over ios.

60hz? Yuck. I had to root my OnePlus 12 to override all the capped refresh rates because of how horrible 60hz looks
The iPhone 14 has bad battery life and heat issue mate. Cheap yes but at what cost on the long run.
The 14 plus does not.
I have the 14plus and I have never had any heating or battery issues.
I got both and an iPhone 15 Pro Max. 14 Plus never overheats and it's a battery monster

To me galaxy + iphone + have always been a cash grab until samsung + gave all the bells and whistles as the ultra this year
