Wow 🤩 I used to live in the desert & I was always surrounded by cacti but never cared much for them. Since starting my plant journey I’ve appreciated them a lot more. This video makes me want to collect all the different kinds 😊
What a treat to watch everything he has is absolutely so beautiful and unique I am now more obsessed with trying to add more different cacti to my collection thank you for sharing.
Mannnnn, Ashley, my friend, you have the ultimate hook up girl!! These cacti are to die for!! How does he do it!! I love EVERYTHING I SEE!! Everyone he picked up, oh this is one of my favorites! Yes, I can relate!
Great fun😌🤲💖I enjoyed this episode and yes, gymnocalycium are the easiest to grow and here we get below zero temperatures in winter and they are unaffected
I see a cactus video, I watch the cactus video. Suchhhhh underrated plants!! I have a ton myself, as well as a bunch of succulents. Some of my favorites are Pachypodiums! Such weird, spiky boys from Madagascar!
@@Empress_Moth i second this i started out my plant journey with 4 cacti abt 3 yrs ago and 3 r still alive and i’d love to get back into having more cacti and succulents
That fact Alex only has to look to remember the id. On other things re potting nasty cacti, here in New Zealand i got the advice a couple of years ago to go to my local electrical store and ask for the Styrofoam/Polystyrene sheets they'd otherwise throw out. I cut i to size and stick it to the spines before moving the cactus in question. 99% less stabbing and less spine break. Plus I'm reusing a item that's really not great for the environment. Admittedly yes it does eventually end up in landfill but at least it's been used more than once. We call this poly gloves cause the cactus gloves don't work and they are clumsy to use anyway.

@alexgfotos That's years of pressure and being in the same spot growing in to its place rather than pinching and squishing them whenever you want. What an idiotic comment.

I had to stop watching because of all the jerky movement all around. Please hold it steady, it was making me sick. And I so love cactus. Okay thanks.
Yqll can't be squishing em like that, it may be fun but it destroys cell walls
Tell that to the rocks they grow between 🧐

🤣 your funny
@@alexgfotos7306 you haven't answered me , so do rocks move magically back and forth squeezing cactus where you live?
@@ryanarchuleta2913 usually questions are marked with a “?” at the end. You were just hurling insults. But yes that’s exactly it, magic rocks.
This is sooo badly filmed
