      I haven't tried acrylic sheets but I think it is possible. If I were to do acrylic, I would just treat it like a glass because if it can leave a mark on a glass, I think it would easily engrave an acrylic sheet. Just make sure you use colored paper. The darker, the better.

    But why do you need paper? What if you do that on glass directly? What will happen?

    • @ajabujabu
      @ajabujabu  Місяць тому +1

      Without it, the laser beam would simply pass through the glass, making engraving impossible. The purpose of the black-colored paper, often referred to as laser marking paper, is to absorb the laser light. This allows the laser to effectively engrave the surface beneath it.
      Laser marking paper is designed to create a high-contrast mark on various materials, including glass, metal, and plastic. When the laser interacts with the paper, it generates heat that etches or engraves the underlying surface. This paper is particularly useful for creating detailed designs and logos, ensuring precision and clarity in the final result. Additionally, it can help protect the surface from potential damage during the engraving process.
