Hi ditto I’ve found your information to be very helpful and actually myself have been a ditto client for about a year now , but I was wondering is it worth it to send your music to radio stations if you don’t have a solid and active fan base yet ?
- Appreciate this one family - For anyone readin' you can also: . * Record a 15 - 30 second jingle of your shout out of any radio station you're looking to be played on over the instrumental of the song of yours that you're trying to plug . . . As well as a vocal only version should they wish to sync it with their own backing music. . I have found that giving stations this kind value first goes a long way in bridging that gap in getting them to air your song later down the line. .
I've heard/read that for non-US|UK|CA artist it's advised to not only rely on music distributors (eg. Ditto, Distrokid, etc) for royalties but also register with Songtrust to ensure artist get their royalties internationally for any radio plays of their music. Do you have any advice or more insight on that? Anyways, Thank you! I enjoy your videos, clear and enjoyable.
Here at Ditto we have our own Publishing team who can collect all radio airplay performance royalties 📻It's also a good idea to register your songs with your countries PRO to ensure you are paid everything you're owed! 👊
I am not able to put out my song via ditto because my cover art has my producer name and logo. But credit has to given to them. Please let me know how can I sort it out🙏
