- The LS has been in Lexus' lineup since the inception of the brand and there re some updates for 2021. On the exterior of the LS 500 you will find the large spindle grill, full LED lighting, and optional wheels. On the inside you will be greeted by a high level of materials, 12.3in infotainment system and leather seating. Under the hood is a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 that produces 416HP & is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2021 Lexus LS 500 the KING of full size luxury sedans?

The best thing about Raiti's Rides is the set structure. You know that after he talks about the rear end, he pops the hood and talks power and mpg numbers. Then, camera scoots in to the passenger side door and he tells you the price.

You are wrong...the best part of Raiti's Rides is Lori's awesome camera work. Ever notice you don't ever want to see more? She takes your eyes to exactly what you need and what to see. Then the structure, format, and consistency of the videos.
And you know he's gonna put Twinkies, M&Ms, Skittles, Subway, Big Gulp or something else in his car
Lexus does such a great job with their interiors, materials, and their fit and finish. The major pro that lexus got over the competition is the reliability
And that's about it nothing more.
And value they know how to make stuff last better than others without sky rocketing price lol and not over complicating it

Despite the fact that this car is kinda underrated I still appreciate Lexus for keeping their flagship LS unlike other non German premium brands like Jaguar XJ and Lincoln continental such a beautiful Lexus especially inside

I absolutely love the LS line. Currently have the 2008 LS460L with 110K and will be getting the 2021 LS500 also in black. The comfort, ride and dependable have convinced me to go Lexus vs Mercedes!

One of the interior option is that you can get the glass art, and the “origami” red or black on the door side. It’s very expensive tho to get that kind of option since it’s hand crafted with precision in Japan. But, it’s pretty amazing how this Lexus makes every car in their lineup very unique.

After your review I bought a 2021 LS 500 with gray with black rims. I have a moon roof in the front and back. I’m a Benz guy but I didn’t like the new s class design. I’m very happy with my decision.

One of the things I like about this car is it has *presence*. It commands attention without being garish.
No, it has no presence. This is the problem. It looks like a bigger ES.
It has about as much presence as a camry.

for me, lexus just hits the nail on the head. It´s not a car for everybody, but you gotta appreciate japanese craftsmanship and attention to detail - not to mention reliability. All that comes with a price of course.

I'd wish that Lexus takes the infotainment from this car and sticks it into the LC500. That car is so beautiful and the only thing that's holding it back from being that perfect car is the dated no-touch infotainment system.. 🙄

I would have to say, it would be a hard choice for me to choose between the lexus LS and the mercedes S class, they are both beautiful cars. But i would have to choose the LS because of long term reliability and built quality.

Great review as usual, Lexus has done it again i don’t really like the grill however the interior has done it for me always very practical and of course luxury at its best.
I just bought an older ES350. 10 years old, but I love it. Everything works as new and I wouldn't think twice about driving it across country. I aspire to own one of these new LS500's one day in the near future. Lexus does it the best. I probably never own anything but Lexus from here on out

I have a 2010 LS. There are so many similarities. The new features are very nice. I love my V8. Its really fast too... Its been a good car. The ride is second to non. I get excellent gas milage for V8. They stand behind their cars for sure. . .👍
I would go with the V8 personally! Lexus really likes to evolve things!

I absolutely love this particular LS500 but the Hybrid trim, the ONLY thing I don't really like about the facelift LS500 is that they removed the unique design of the Headlights which is quite a bummer at least to me because you may not see it again probably, but it's still an awesome vehicle overall
Glad it has a CD player. Lexus IS one of the last bastions in the modern car industry to still hold on to the good ole CD player!

Just bought a 21 LS 500 in Matador Red with that same gorgeous tan interior. Pano roof, AWD, and super low miles.
She is smooth, super quiet, and shoots to 100+ mph before you know it.
The interior is so nice that you just wanna hang out in it for the heated massage.

They don’t put the plastic cover to clean up the look of the engine bay, that’s just an added benefit. It’s to minimize engine noise.
3 things if we lexus can add then there's nothing stopping me from getting it.
1- Better camera quality of Reversing and 360 view.
2- Panoramic sunroof
3- Rear ventilated seats
If I'm spending $100k, come on I need that.
You know you can get rear ventilated seats right? It’s part of the rear seat package on the LS
