Underrated moment is when Joe opens the sunroof and without missing a beat he says " you don't have to use the tracking pad for that"
The good thing is this car is much reliable than German brands .
and thats why it is the closest luxury car to perfection than any other car
Lexus isn’t as reliable as it used to be and Benz isn’t as unreliable as many think it is. I own two Lexus vehicles and I can speak from experience. Lexus LS reliability began going down in 2007.
A F A you’re right about Mercedes. But Lexus IS light years ahead of bmw and Audi.
That door panel belongs in a museum...my God🔥🔥🔥
Finally, Lexus makes a good looking wheel.
I love this design!!!!! I love how they put the “L” design in the taillights
Yup the tail lights are unique but I bought it for the white leather interior and the Mark Levinson sound system. It’s a great car!
Considering the design, performance, fuel economy, luxury and reliability, I feel like it's one of the best cars ever made...
It’s basically perfect but Lexus really should switch to a touch screen
Good to see you Joe! Another beautiful vehicle! Stay safe Team Raiti's Rides!
Thank you so much William! I am so glad that you can make it! We are staying safe, and please do the same!
Love how you break the rides down.. your helping me decide my next purchase .. subscribed
Those are some very impressive performance numbers for a 2 1/2 ton car. Thanks Joe for the review.
A lil late to the party here Joe but man I'm glad I'm here!!! This LS is a cruiser!!! Besides the grille, I love the looks of it!!! They got a ton of things right with this LS so just a few more tweaks and it'll be really up to date. Reliability can't be their only/ main calling card anymore. Exceptional review as usual Team Raiti's Rides!!! #OnThrottle
My dad bought this after he drowned his 7 series and hydro locked 😂 , its a solid luxury car but the bmw drove way better. Love your vids Raiti!
Jusvibin it was in Saudi Arabia, we dont have proper drainage of rain water, my dad thought he was driving a land cruiser lol
That is definitely a nice car, styling, power, design, performance all of it. I love the twin turbo V6 and the AWD makes it really versatile. Awesome review!
Great review ! Man I haven’t heard large and in charge for so long . Put a smile on my face
Great Car. $40-$70k for one of these 2-4 years old. Worth every penny.
Yes I bought a used one earlier this year. Was around $52K US. Worth it.
The new ones (2021) have the weird headlight housing too, not as elegant as this one with the flowing LEDs
There is remote start. You press the lock button 2x then hold the lock button for 3 sec
@sanju2 I am pretty sure you HAVE to have the Enform Remote subscription in order to remote start the car. At least that's how it was on my 2016 IS 300.
Thoroughly enjoyable review! May have to arm wrestle you over the Flying Spur being the king though!
I'm glad they took the time to make the back seats enjoyable for the passengers. Really nice I love it.
OMG JOE YOU MADE IT HAPPENED AGAIN.YOU NOT LYING IT IS THE KING OF FULL SIZE LUXURY SEDAN THANKS JOE FOR THE REVIEW.
@@RaitisRides LEXUS is supposed to be doing a refresh on the LS with a Touch Screen, a face lift, and more safety features
@@RaitisRides if you can get a chance to can you review the 2020 LEXUS ES 350 ultra luxury or can you do a comparison of the 2020 Toyota Camry XSE vs 2020 LEXUS ES 350 ULTRA LUXURY
@@thegoodman3810 sorry to burst your bubble but Lexus ranks a 52 out of 100 or the lowest in the class for the LS according to Consumer Reports
@@normt5463 Consumer Reports has also historically ranked Lexus at or near the top of their rankings, so I highly doubt a Lexus is going to be unreliable.
Great presentation and Victor - that’s some great camera work! It really helps to appreciate what the presence of the car feels like. Subscribed!
Just subscribed. Keep up the good work man! Zonk away!!!
Don’t forget the executive package also includes the right rear seat with reclining and ottoman feature. It’s perhaps the biggest draw to this package!
Awesome review Joe for a beautiful car!
You are a great vehicle reviewer, love your channel.
Joe, I believe this car does have remote start. One day my 2017 ES350 started by itself while in the garage of my home. I was concerned and called Lexus who informed me that without notification, they added this feature "through the air". Fearing I could die of carbon monoxide poisoning I demanded it be removed! After watching this video I attempted to remotely start my newer 2020 ES350. and to my surprise IT DID START! You hit the lock button on the remote twice and it starts on the 3rd click. I feel customers need to be made aware of this.Lexus assured me it shuts down when the door opens or 45 seconds whichever comes first.
I bought an LS500 earlier this year, I have a few videos on it. Lovely car, yep a few “zonks” for me too but overall awesome!!
11:15 The LS does have remote start via the keyfob. You press the lock button 3 times, but on the 3rd press, you hold it until you see the car begin to flash the turn signals.

History is a must
Gorgeous car great review you are the best
Great video and funny, as usual! (But I'm gonna have to zonk not having a 4K camera).
Just in love with the touch buttons
Very Nice Review As Always Joe, Also That's One Clean & Lexury Sedan. I Totally Love The Design.
Thanks, Joe always coming out with great cars! Can you find a Mercedes GLS 580?
Now I'll finish watching this awesome video.
Remote Start, with Enform Remote function enabled you can remote start by pressing and holding the lock button down OR load the app on to your phone and use that to remote start
Those rims are wonderfully gorgeous!
Love the LS. Agreed that it'd be just right with a touchscreen. It's good to see Lexus doing touchscreens in their newly released cars. I loved my IS, but sometimes the joy stick input was clumsy. Still miss that car though, it was rock solid and fun to drive!
My grandfather used to have a 2007 LS460. It was such a great car, I wish I had bought it from him.
@Raiti, you see the spoilers for the 2021 LS500 rework? It looks interesting and love the fixes they’ve made though some could be better. Even surprised the new interior trim option is Meteorite instead of wood or Kiriko glass with a Velvet like material instead of the alcantera/hand folded cloth
Can’t wait to buy one of these in 2028. My 02 LS430 is will be current til then.
Lexus quality is unique and on another level. The longer you own these cars, the more you appreciate how well built these cars are. Styling was never a Lexus strength but over the past few years, their styling has improved and like anything, their design language will not appeal to everyone. This car will still be on the road over the long run, while their European competition will be lawn ornaments.
What a beautiful car! For that price though, I will stick with my Accord! :) Awesome review, Joe!!
People who drive 15 year old German sedans, ItS STiL a ToyOTA.
Toyota is one of the most solid built cars!!! European cars are just endless money pits. 😂
Johnson Taylor I’ve had my gs350 for 6 years never had to do anything other than oil changes and tires. And it held Its value extremely well
@Johnson Taylor True, Mercedes' GLC- and GLE Coupé classes are 53k and 87k. I know from experience that when it comes to volume of space in these cars it's not very great and you feel pretty cramped. And the even more expensive classes are just not worth it unless it's not a problem for you to pay 50k-150k for a limousine. But you have to include the import taxes too. A 100k Lexus limousine can be more expensive in the US than a "cheaper" Mercedes limousine. It varies. Basically the brand you pay for.
@Johnson Taylor that's what I thought too..it's a Toyota?? Umm yeah last time I checked that's a good thing.
Rims look cheap, but overall the car looks amazing. Thanks for this amazing video
Wondering how ls 2021 will perform. Having so many hopes.
how nice interior wow
Can’t help but see Frankenstein with those two knobs on the dash console
For a 23k interior package how do you not have 12 inch led screens?? In the back
Lexus is the best car ever I have driven. I have a 2010 ES350 drives smoooooooth.
I wonder the speaker system , will it beat Volvo XC90 Bower & Wilkins ?
One thing you didn't mention is that on the front grill and back lights, all those patterns are actually formed using the lexus 45° logo. They turned them and rearranged them to be able to form the shapes
Amazing review Joe ❤ please world is waiting for you to review GT2rs & GT3rs
I honestly think lexus exteriors look much better than the german brands. I think the germans have a nicer interior , in general, but the reliability and exterior styling takes the cake for me
I got a LS 500 loaner today. A truly amazing car.
Is it me or does “Raiti’s Rides” have more and more commercials lately? That’s when you know Joe AND Lori are moving up here on UA-cam. Way to go guys! 👏
It looks aggresive and sick. I love it
Great Review. Also, no ambient lighting
The upsized grill is orders of magnitude better design and integrated with the front facia design compared to bmw's afterthought design on the 7 series .
Have you reviewed the Lexus "GS 350" FSport? If you did, I would like to see it.
Joe to answer your question, Yes it is the king! LS is a complete vehicle as opposed to other luxury brands
@@normt5463 doesn't negate the fact that it is closer to a complete car than any other luxury car
@@hassansmw5634 Who puts it first in the luxury sedan segment? J.D. Power give it a similar low 80's out of 100 to the Chevy Malibu. Consumer Reports rankings put it last in segment with a 54 out of 100.

I’ve owned 2 ls Lexus and loved them both u can’t go wrong buying one.
Big Zonk on the track pad set up but big thumbs up on the door pouch for 2 whopper juniors, the skittles tray, and the massive center console that can hold at least 16 twinkies.!! 👍 All kidding aside that is a very nice car. Great review Joe.
would the remote starter be in the phone app?
I just saw an F Sport version over the weekend. That thing is a boat! Definitely a nice car, but it's gigantic.
Luxury Camry!
@@daniconi7333 2018. Considering the new 2021 though, they fixed some annoyances of the 2018 I have such as they put in a touchscreen and improved off-the-line acceleration a bit.
One thing I do not like with this newer model is that heated/cooled seats control is in a menu, not separate buttons. But overall I would love this in my driveway in white/tan or ivory int. Maybe the blue with same int. color. I hope they improved the faults from 2018.
Lexus did a great job on the grille. I love it! Only Lexus can create such beautiful big grille.
@@RaitisRides yes it is! Wonderful design. Just perfect. And the most unique thing is that the spindle grille only suit on any Lexus models not other car companies.
This looks better than the updated one. I like how intricate the DRLs look, which is something Lexus has done away with on the 2021 car.
Gorgeous car, rear drive, would love to see it be a v8 though. I just can't get used to turbos to make 6s act like 8s
All Lexus come with Remote Start. They also come with a free 1 year subscription to Enform, an app from Lexus, which enables the Remote Start function. When the subscription runs out the the Remote Start function is turned off, until the subscription is renewed.
Sweet ride
What a beautiful car inside especially.
Lexus is tops right now at exterior and interior styling...sorry German fanboys that's the truth.
S class has better interior tho imo. Lexus needs to make a twin turbo V8 if they want to compete with the S class, 7 series and Audi A8.
Jason Todd y do u want a twin turbo v8? The only thing that would bring to the table is power and if that’s what u want then add boost to the LS’ turbos and BOOM💥 I wanna get one of these and do that it would be so cool 😎
Jason Todd also the new 2021 S class looks terrible inside and out just two huge tablets, that’s not luxury that’s a Tesla, even Bentley, Bugatti, and rolls know not to add too many screens because they spend time crafting a quality interior that in ten years time would still look classic.
Third! Hey Joe! Your my favourite car reviewer by FAR! I never miss a video!
Just recently bought a 07 Ls460L for 6k 152k miles, has little dents and normal wear but on the interior its brand new, it was steal and its the best car ive driven to this date (also my first luxury car) Rides likes butter and cant go wrong with it, cant imagine how the 500 rides.
This is my kind of ride
@@RaitisRides me too, but my bank account tells me different, LoL! I can dream though.
“The lazy boy seats with the plastic over the seats”. 🤣 That was hilarious because that’s exactly how it was at grandma’s house . 🏡 Great car for those who $114 grand just hanging around. Beautiful car. Excellent review 👍
Thanks for the info. Tundra 2022 will get this engine. I'm getting it.
Did I see you right Joe, you’re on the driver seat but you can reach the door end of the passenger seat?
I love lexus ,but what would happen when the car is older and if the infotainment system starts to have problems and you can't access the air conditioning and seat controls , that would worry me .
I feel like we keep getting reviews of this car over and over.....and that's just fine.
Joe it should have an remote start I work at Lexus. If you push the lock button 3 times then hold on the third time it should start.
“You can put about 16 Twinkie’s”
Sold.
If you have a passenger in the middle, how do you access all the controls in the back?
Joe...this might net me a Raiti's Ride t-shirt...the taillights have the L logo in there😉💡🤔
That’s my next one!!! I have a 2007 LS and a 2013 LS I love them!!!! they both have V8s anxious to feel the twin turbo V6
Hey Joe, coming to you with a like and comment.
Sorry Raiti.. I made a typo.. So I reposted my comment.. Thanks for your excellent review...
I believe it does have a remote start by clicking the lock button 3x and the 3rd is long press
The most reliable bulletproof luxury brand. Period.
So true and they hold their value.
@@RaitisRides Indeed!
@@amishparadise1924 That's true. Lexus seems to take the competition at a point in time and work towards that instead of working towards their own goal. They design their car to match a competitor's car at a point in time. So when a new lexus comes out it is already outdated because the Germans are doing their own thing and designing their cars for the future. The competition doesn't stop at a point but lexus seems to benchmark their cars to other cars at a point in time.
@@amishparadise1924 Why WOULDN'T they imitate the Euros? They know most of their customers are Caucasian, whose desires are based on Euro or American styling. So why would they risk using a Japanese-centric design philosophy? It's called smart business decisions.
