Rowan B its in the description..
Alex Wandler without timing
thanks man.!
I love how they had an entire "old school" section in the show. From Cadaverous Mastication through New Millennium Cyanide Christ. That was actually my favorite sound for Meshuggah... not a huge Djent fan. Glad they still play the old stuff live though...
Holy shit neurotica
Holy shit, they played Neurotica. Such a banger.
Sounds so good at this speed. Wish they played something off of Chaosphere for this years tour...you know, for the anniversary remaster and all...
They should again in 2024
The British Isles, once again, being raped and pillaged by the Viking Norsemen.
underrated post
Daedalus of the Occident ....*TRUE STATEMENT !*
This time it was consentual.
Although they thought they would've invented this by themselves, they didn't. They remind me of French, arrogant but still failing badly quite often. Is it the genes or just outcome of very bad try?
ObZen sounds so brutal live - I love it
They should play it more often
@@lakabakaagreed
Neurotica actually was the chill song, they play it groovier than ever and sound pretty raw, even more that the LP's version.
There are no words to describe how good this Meshuggah show was!...
Damn I missed it and I'm not too far from there, did you see what guitars they used?
Apartment Gumtree Ibanez?
Fucking amazing I got there hours early to secure a spot right at the front, legendary night
God fucking dammit, why didn't I go to this? That setlist is amazing.
That's what happens when drummers are lighting technicians.
Their lighting guy actually has a youtube page and he shares lightshows from soundcheck and all kinds of cool shit.
@@WillShawofficial Channel's name?
bassist... LEDvard is a bassist.
but yeah, point completely vaild
@Matias : Edvard Hansson
1:03:12
"Ready?"
BOOM
I love how he sounds so friendly "are ya ready?" :)
Meshuggah always has the most incredible lighting. What an amazing show
Tomas Haakes cousin I think does the lighting and he knows their songs very very well so he can plan out a light show that is as accurate and representative of each song as possible
drummerman22 He literally Plays the lights! Its incredible to watch
drummerman22 hehe did you watch that story line of their tour? thats exactly how Haake said it
Best metal band on the planet🌏!! 🤘
This is the only meshuggah video on UA-cam that actually gives an idea of how extraterrestrial their live act is. You can't capture the mechanical perfection of the light show with constantly cutting camera angles like they had on that crappy DVD
This band puts me in a trance
The light guy is the real MVP🙌🏻 no 🧢

Thank you for guitar solos times!!
Hearing Cadaverous Mastication put a smile on my face. Man, it would be super dope if they re recorded a few of their older songs
The earlier recordings hold up, I love the sound of the first album personally. But it’s my favorite Meshuggah album cause I’m a thrash fan so I’m biased
This is the best light show I have ever seen. He's a god
I’m such a huge meshuggah fan. It’s crazy to me that 5 guys can make music so complex and good. I can’t wait for the next tour.
50:46 Thirty-three. How appropriate Meshuggah, how appropriate.
I love the way they hide these tiny little details in their music, Meshuggah are geniuses
Sorry mate, explain for me? Thanks!
They have an album called Catch ThirtyThree. That was a really cool way to remember that
Thats all Thordendal
@@DW_R those last chugs in Neurotica are exactly 33
as far as i recall, this was a 25th Anniversary tour show. i was very blessed to have attended the very 1st (opening) show of the 25th Anniversary at Gröne Lund, in their adopted home town Stockholm. the set list is somewhat career spanning, so may seem eclectic to some.
this show was was supported by 2 bands: Semantic Punk &... CAR BOMB! most notably tho', Mr. T sat with us watching the support play up until 15 min before he was onstage himself.
a memorable & emotional night for many reasons.

Neurotica!! 💪🏽💥💯 Dope setlist!!
45:45 Neurotica. (cries)
No doubt man... I've tried to get into djent, but just can't appreciate it as much as everything they did up until Nothing. I'm glad that they still play older songs in their set for the fans of the old thrashier style...
Mr. Nerve Damage feel sorry for you man, Meshuggah’s old and new stuff is pure awesomeness
the last breakdown in gods of rapture damn so happy to see it played live what a great set
The entire In Death song live is one of the best performances I've ever witnessed
The Gods of Metal
Obligatory rhetorical question at 51:24: "You guys have been alright?" *immediately proceeds to administer pummelage in generous servings!
Sooo very stoked to hear Gods of Rapture with the keyboard part. LOVE.
Got to give it to FT, how the hell can he play Holdsworth-like legato guitar runs hunched over like that. Respect .
I owned Obzen for 4 years before I really "got" Meshuggah. Now, I feel bad for people who don't.
Straws pulled at random...Epic lights. Holy shit!
what a fucking awesome playlist. i wish more Catch 33 songs made it into present day shows. After D.E.I. and Chaosphere, Catch 33 is a masterpiece in my opinion.
That was a night to remember. :D
I love re-living this gig. Thank you so much for recording this.
For the good of this decadent humanity they need to play in every show songs from the early albums!!!!!!!
Amazing footage thanks for share 🔥🤟🔥
badass live clip, great setlist=)
It was amazing! Such a great atmosphere
this was the best show I've ever been to!!
that gig was incredible
Best gig I've been to, hands down. Take me back!!
this gig was a lot of fun, so fucking good man
this gig was so sick, brilliant atmosphere and their tone was awesome!
Man, I'm so bummed I missed that show!! I really, really, really, really, reeeeeeaaaally wanted to go! Come back to London soon!!!!!!
Great gig
Brutal pit
SO GOOD. 10/10 would see again
Gig of the year for me! Incredible vibe!!
I was there last night, a damn good show is what it was!
Such a good set, awesome atmosphere & gig felt like it was a lot shorter! Definitely will be back to see them when they return.
I was at this gig. It was insane. Utter carnage.
best show ive ever been to
I fucking love the lights work on Stengah
That’s insane they opened with Future Breed Machine
Excellent!
What a list for the middle of the set!
Seen them every time they've have come down to Australia, which is quite a lot. Unfortunately not for the 25 years tour!
Thanks for posting this :) OP
Wow!... the light show during New Millennium Cyanide Christ!! Fantastic!! The lights right there with all the music...powerful stuff!!
It was actually a little bit off, they started the song like one beat too late.
incredible
I wonder how terrifying or life altering it would be to see them live while tripping. I've never used psychedelics but from what I hear they are a hit or a miss. You hear all the time about a bad trip and how it leads to some kind of panic attack. Well I don't smoke but I certainly would if I ever see them live. :)
😤🎸 l 🌈 😵💫🍄
Uploaded on my birthday!!! 😁😁😁
Playing Straws Pulled at random fast as fuck....YES
they've changed the tone in new millenium cyanide christ in a couple of riffs xD sounds awesome
Frederick soloes are also always improvisation.
The opening of Bleed scared the hell out of me
dude, thanks for recording this, couldn't make it to the show, and please don't hack my pc, na zdrovia
Is it just me or the lights are off in some parts
do they play old songs slower than the original? or is it only too early in the morning? need more Shuggah in my coffee!
+Nabil Karsheh yes especially noticeable on Future Breed Machine
+Nabil Karsheh Yes - they used to play without click track, but as the band is using axe fx for guitars and it has to be in sync with the drum parts then they have to use click tracks, which means that some of the songs are indeed a bit laid back. Not to mention that Tomas has been to surgery a lot of time and 25 years later some parts are not so easy to execute in faster tempos as people get older and may not be in their best shape then ... just my opinion ... might not be so but I guess that this could be the reason
+Rauno Pella don't know about older tracks, but some of their newer stuff just sounds heavier in slower tempos, like Obzen. Perhaps that could be the reason, but you have a coherent and valid argument yourself.
Those banners in the front of the stage completely block the drummer not only from me watching this but from literally hundreds of fans!!!!!! WTF were they thinking?!?!?!
I'm just here to headbang
heated
Orait bro...thanks alot...anyway...
this is such a weird set list for 2014, but i like it, i saw them back in 2002 and even then they didn't play some of these older songs.
Gods of Rapture!? Oh man!
I usually am so angry at guys who whip out their phones and record the WHOLE of the concert, I never understand the logic of not headbanging the shit out...but hey...God Bless the person who recorded this. I JUST HAD A GREAT FUCKING CONCERT AT 5 AM IN THE MORNING IN INDIA.
Is the lighting off for anyone? I think its my Bluetooth ear plugs
The Future
I hope they bring Neurotica combustion and Obzen(song) back if they can’t do NMCC, even if it means taking fbm and MJ does mirrors in life and in death out
You guys are much rowdier than American crowds...at least from what I saw. I saw them in Boston, MA in June and they killed it!!! Crowd still good but not as rowdy as you guys!
I hope to see this band again live one day. Perhaps after this virus settles down. And hopefully before Jens calls it quits, all these dudes getting up there but it’s amazing he can still scream like that today.
me too! do you think they will still be good live after the pandemic??
@@harrisnoland still going strong. Jens is still sounding fantastic. His vocal style doesn’t require much strain, so he can probably go for a couple more years.
ONE OF THE HEAVIEST BAND ON THIS FLAT WORLD LOVE YOU MESHUGGAH FLAT EARTH RULE
How this light and music stars together? I don't understand
they have special guy ua-cam.com/video/MiSr8iNwWsw/v-deo.html
It's Haake's cousin :)
Thiago Martins He's the best light operator in the world. No other band can be so lucky to have an awesome light operator like him. He knows perfectly each note of each song.
Pyrodrum He's friggin awesome. Thats for sure.
MultiEchelon The lights are programmed for the set by Haake's brother, but when they play, the lights operate in conjunction with the click track and software that they use.
no rational gaze ? :O
at 12:36 what's the title of this song please
Did the treble not get a ticket?
Io c'ero!
ah i missed cadaverous mastication
Include Combustion and I Am Colossus for a perfect setlist.
My god the bass tone at 47:36
Mad that I’ve never seen None live, with the exception of maybe Humiliative.
Why did they ever stop playing half this songs like bleed neurotica and others that haven’t been played in 2022
No Straws Pulled At Random? Rational Gaze? Electric Red? man...still good though
They play Straws at 01:16:05
Thanks man.
TheStatuatoryApe The fucking Gods of Rapture tho
So goooooood
1:13:15 crazyy
великие отцы Джента!!!!!!
Who was here
I travelled all the way from Stockton to see these guys at the roundhouse in london
1:03:14
Fooking ipadrip again
Truly a shitty upload from a phone. A shitty phone.
Too bad it isn't even half as good of a recording as Opeth there in 2005. This sounds like shit.
Gay. Same songs over and over again. Nothing new, just screaming nonsense.
There are at least 3654 possible Explanations for your reaction. I name the first two:
1. You´re a clown.
2. You´re not.
Trolololol
Then why watch it, watch Justin Bieber or Midly Serious
***** hear, hear!
***** true they spawned many similar bands
