Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

I really appreciated the older gentleman in the beginning. Although he still walked away in disagreement over supposed contradictions, but he was humble enough to allow Cliffe to speak, which is more than some of the students and other adults he’s spoken with. Also unlike others, he did not put words in his mouth. His questions were intelligent and his theories were thoughtful. It seems like he is seriously pondering these things.
I know this video was recorded some time ago, so my hope and prayer is that he has since had those questions answered and found his faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

very good video i recently have experienced the weirdest thing the past year. When covid hit i was so attached to meditation and nature and spirit science and metaphysical science and making my own belief system. I also was addicted to porn on and off. Now get this when i decided to finally end porn i had voices enter my brain at first i thought this was schizophrenia or psychosis but this was a demonic attack. I kept hearing a female succubus spirit attached to me i prayed to god for it to leave but it never left. I took meds it never left, i decided to drop my ego abt the bible and jesus and i decided to make a prayer to jesus. The first ever prayer i did to jesus started to make these "voices" or spirits go away. It just gives me proof that Christianity is real its actually awesome. I was so caught up in believing that everything is nature and were nature so everything is god, all this new age shit is getting many further away from jesus i see alot of people in the youth especially going away from church. Its crazy because i would have biblical dreams seeing the name lilith in my dreams that was built off my sin on porn. I also would see the name lucifer on my moms cigarette packet. Its just wild that 1 prayer to jesus was my medicine to get these spirits off me, as well as going to church and reading the bible.
It's the same stuff but I still enjoy listening lol. Same questions, I feel like I can go out and do the same thing. Dig the oldies too.

Jesus was giving prophecy of what would be? And he was saying, the people of that day of that prophecy would be alive to see the promise of Jesus Christ coming. It was not literally the people sitting there beside Jesus while Jesus was preaching.
Once again, somewhat older video of cliff more than 20 years ago where he's using more scripture and real truth of the Bible, then Just philosophy and point of view, hopefully, the rest of the video goes that way because that's the real cliff I know from the past.

Because you're not wrong but you probably missed some of my other comments which is why you might have missed the context of what I said, what I've expressed in the past as if you've compared his old videos which they have been might lead to his newer videos and I mean a lot. Of these newer videos and especially with his son, they live in 99% of the time. Only use philosophy and man speak mean. Relational words for people today. They do not use the scriptures. They do not use the context of the scriptures. They do not. That's what I'm talking about and somebody's old. Their videos or a few of the new ones which are rare, do involve more of the actual Bible and/or relation to Christ. That's what I was talking about. The point the man was trying to make around the 7 minute mark, saying that the wounds of Jesus implies that He didn't have a perfect body, is false thinking. Just read Luke chapter 24 and find the risen Christ walking perfectly fine with two other people on the road to Emmaus. Try doing that after being crucified.
Pastor Cliffe, the generations the Bible is referring to the making of Israel in one day (1948), and that a generation back then roughly was 75 years and that’s this year! Looking at prophecy in Ezekiel and the Jews being pulled back to Israel the “Fig Tree” is back! ALL prophecy is linked and building to the “day of the Lord”!
I have a question guys. Let´s say a person is faithful, trying to genuinely maintain an honest and deep relationship with Jesus Christ but at the same time do not feel like going to a local church. Since Jesus God is everywhere, and you can have a relationship with Him anywhere in the world, does not going to church mean the person will end up in hell? I have been told since childhood that not going to church every Sunday is a great sin, and you should ask the pastor for repentance, which leads me to the issue whether repenting before a priest/pastor is the only way for the forgiveness of sins. Since we also know that only genuine repentance to God can grant forgiveness. Some people just might not be too comfortable naming their sins to another person who they do not have a personal relationship with. Thanks again for your feedback. God bless. :)

i have a question related to monism and monotheism. I am stuck between the two. What if reality (the creation) is the mind of god (the creator)? would this be accurate and if so would it create a difference between the two? why does there have to be a real difference between creator and created? How could god create something separate from itself if before the universe there was only 1 and it is called god? I agree with Cliffe and I disagree with Cliffe. There are some things he says that makes me think, "ooh, I don't know about that Cliffe!" In particular, the gentlemen's question about "end times". A proper understanding is that Jesus was not unclear. That He was speaking to that generation and that He did return "in judgement" on the covenant breakers. This seems to be a stumbling block for many believers and unbelievers. Revelation was written pre-70AD and the destruction came upon Jerusalem within the generation of Jesus' contemporaries. It was a judgement coming, not the second coming. Jesus can be trusted and the Bible can be trusted and reliable.

Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I think the description of Jesus in Revelation paints a different looking Jesus than the one that was here in his human lifetime.
I mean you could argue that in the days after His resurrection that he had not yet been given a different body but… don’t discount what he looks like in Revelation upon His return and secondly don’t also assume what you think is meant by a “new body.”

When cliffe says that athiests necessarily don't believe in free will, immaterial love, life after death, etc.. he is subtly admitting there is no evidence for such things. If there was independent, objective evidence then we could believe in those things just based on the evidence without presupposing God

If I could ask cliffe one question it would be “what evidence do you have that supports a Christian afterlife?” I would like to think I’m Christian but I consistently struggle with thoughts like “what happens when we die” or “if we die and there’s no after life, then what” and those questions give me really bad anxiety. I'm a Christian and have a doubt, is it wrong to smoke medical marijuana to deal with pains? This kind of cannabis don't put a person high due to the almost absence of THC.

Purely my belief here, but I believe that if it's your only way of dealing with pain, then it should be fine. The sin comes when we as humans indulge in something such as drugs purely to make ourselves feel better. It would be good to ask a priest though!

When Jesus said that this generation will not pass away happened in 70AD. He came in Judgment. This can also refer to a future Judgment coming as well but it is definitely 70AD with the destruction of the Temple.
7:45 there's no contradiction because the side wound in the risen glorified Jesus Christ wasn't affecting him, it didn't appear to cause him pain, to hinder him in anyway. Same with His hands. They are cosmetic or there in appearance but are not presented in a way to make you think it's wound or actual damage any longer (because it was certainly damage to His body as he was being crucified and dying) but was not damage to the body when He was resurrected.
When Jesus returns it will be His Millennium kingdom 1,000 year Sabbath. It’s called the 1st resurrection after the 1,000 year reign here on earth they will be a 2nd resurrection.
The 2nd resurrection is all those who didn’t make it into His Millennium kingdom, the books will be opened and you will be judged by your WORKS.

3:25 I love this YT page but I knew Cliff would not answer that question correctly Jesus was talking about His coming in ad70 to judge Israel for the things He had mentioned….. we did not kill Jesus or the Prophets it was old Covenant unbelieving Israel who did those things so He came on the clouds which is Apocalyptic Covenant terminology for judgment….. read Old Testament for more on that subject and you will see that k judgment came when the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem in ad66 fighting with the zealots from ad66 to ad70 ( the tribulation 3-1/2 year war) that ended with the fall of the temple which essentially ended the old covenant check Hebrews 8:13 for that. Yep Jesus did keep His promise and came back in judgement ending the old covenant Judism and ushering in the New Covenant.

If we were part of God. I’d think we’d all be perfect. Which we were before we sinned. Then we were separated from him thus all that has happened is because of our original sin
