I have this car and absolutely love the charge port in the front. My charger is in the front of my garage so it's perfect. I got around the wired Apple Car play by using a usb dongle I got from Amazon. Works great wirelessly!

Isn’t the charge port on the front kind of awkward for most people considering where you usually see charge box installations in the garage? Or is it ok?
Yea I mean mine reaches because it's 25 feet but in the back quarter panel or side would be easier

I like that they at least load it up on the standard car. I hate companies that include nothing on the base car and say "starting at" when it's always going to be 20K more to get what you want

I prefer wired CarPlay. Get CarPlay, charge and can look at your phone all at the same time lol
Very nice car. I love a proper cockpit, buttons, etc. Tesla (and others) have gone too far with the screen and nothing else.
These guys also integrate the screen well. Doesn't feel like an ipad that got slapped on.
See, I disagree with that. I think that extra screen sticking up above the console is out of place on this car and makes the design look older. At least on the so-called "slapped on" "iPad" the look is one of tablets on a surface or floating on a surface. This is a classic look but with this added screen that distracts from the flow of the dashboard's curves. So, now with these screens, you either have to make vertically thick, top to bottom, dashboard enclosures to have integration or you have to go with a horizontal screen and then another one. The most fluid solution is the horizontal screen and maybe an additional one below it.
This is a very nice car. But the compromises to make it an EV are very much present in it vs. the ICE model. The EVs from Kia, Hyundai or the Genesis GV60 have no such compromises.

BMW i5 any day over this. 14” infotainment screen that is so narrow in 2024 is a mistake.

I think once Hyundai co moves to full electric they will kill it in the market. Their cars are amazing except for the pos engines and transmissions. Get rid of those and they are perfect. ?

I think Tesla gives you more for the price. The range lacking in this car in my opinion, but still a beautiful car.

Teslas fit and finish doesn’t compare or even come close to this and also what this manufacturer offers in comparison to ELON
You can tell 100% that these first electric cars from normal ICE car makers, are built with the ideology of still having an engine and transmission. I give it about 5 more years before they figure out how to maximize the space like Tesla. The 2012+ Tesla Model S does better at using the space in the trunk and frunk than this car. That should keep the engineers for Hyundai/Genesis up at night. You make a bigger boat, but remove all the storage space...try again.
It's not a first electric car, it's an ice platform adapted to EV Use which is why the trunk is smaller. It's for people who like the G80 but want an EV. The way nicer inside than a model s ( I own a model 3)
Genesis has the gv60 which is full ev from ground up.
