The suspension is outstanding, but the higher seat tube height doesn’t allow for testicle clearance of yours truly. Even at 6’ I just couldn’t get that seat out of the way no matter what dropper I used. Also no MX wheel flip chip is a huge miss IMO. Most people probably aren’t racing E-Enduro lol they just want to have fun.
What`s up with the Display? It looks like the "old" one. I owned the Kenevo SL- and will get the second Generation next week, because of a "noisy" Motor- i gave ist back to Specialized.
Not putting a bigger battery in this is a fucking shambles. 6 Laps of the local on the sl1 is now 4 on the sl1.2 in turbo. Miles behind any competitor especially the Transition Relay
@@MBRmagazine but you can buy the display separately… so surely that means that a display can be programmed? Otherwise why would they sell it separately?
We know someone that took the motor out of a new Levo SL and put it in the Kenevo SL - that required both the display and motor swapping. If Spesh ever offered the new motor as an upgrade (we have no information that it will) then you're right, you probably wouldn't need to swap the display as well.
Finally, a ‘show’ that doesn’t blow sunshine up each and every bike but provides a credible critique instead.
Nice one, all.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Neko's bike and journey is one of the best things that is in the industry at the moment.
No STA in the table though
Your critiques are honest and true. Please make these longer!

Good job guys. I like that Orange. Is Orange still a non linkage single pivot or are they using a link now? That DH bike is a rebirth of the Turner💯
Thanks! The Phase Evo featured here Is not a linkage design, but they do use a linkage on the Switch 7 analogue bike and the Patriot e-bike.
@@MBRmagazine Thank you guys
Would you go for the Kenevo Expert SL gen 1 for 5k, or Kenevo Comp Sl Gen 2 for 5.5 k?
excellent reviews and great content. Like the jumper Alan....
Thanks Alex 👊
Any chance that the podcast could be published to UA-cam Music also? My favourite way to listen is out on the bike....
You mean like a podcast? Hmm, will look into it.

Wheres the guy from who goes fairly high pitched at the end of each sentence?
2:03 Germany, 2022: I spend 7700,- for it (Comp). Now, 2024, i have to pay 8700,- for the "Expert". Good Deal!
Great stuff. But missing the magazine :(
Thanks Paul! Yes, a sad time for print.
Regarding the new motor on the Kenevo, it also seems to be quieter which is very much welcomed.
Yes indeed. Spins at a lower RPM.

Another manufactured, endless pressure to constantly upgrade because of how fast things change. More batteries, motors, and frames for the landfill.
The most overpriced garbage in the industry as of 2020 onwards
Why would you need a new display if you changed the Kenevo motor? It’s the same display on the previous Kenevo.
As we understand it, the motor and display are electronically ‘paired’ together, so you have to change both.

Specilized offer the new Motor for 850,-, in Germany.@@MBRmagazine
This is gold guys. Keep it up!
