Hi Adrian. You must have one of the cleanest and tidiest farms in Ireland. Your tractors and machinery are immaculate and you take good care of everything including your tools (you do when you have to pay for them yourself). Your hard working and your parents and family must be extremely proud of you and the farm is in good hands. Thank you and your family for posting regular videos of your daily life as this is also hard work and time consuming editing videos. Let’s hope the winter is kind to you. Good health 💪 Kind regards John 👍😃
Everything looks neat, tidy, and ready for the days to get shorter and colder. Thanks for sharing your life as a farmer. I have learned so most about a lifestyle I knew nothing about until I started watching your channel.
Simple brilliant, yourself and Nicole make one hell of a team. When stuff has to done it gets done and done right without any BS. Proper farming full of tips and tricks that’s a pleasure to watch, my two boys are glued. Just one thing, please consider taking some time off and treat yourselves cause it greatly deserved.
Good job Adrian! The weather is definitely changing and we unfortunately have to accept winter is coming. Seeing the cows eating after coming in from green grass tells me that the silage is in good shape. Seeing the family help you is always nice. Have a great day!
I can smell that haylage all the way across the pond. I hope my bales are as nice as the ones you opened. It's still a bit warm here in Maine this week to open bales...and I can hardly wait.
I think everyone is getting winter prep done now. I’ve a few things to move out of a field before we turn the horses out for winter grazing. Then back on to the summer grazing to muck spread and repair fences.
Your tractor looks beautiful! That is a big job getting the sheds ready for winter and finding a winter home for all the equipment. I hope you get a nice long Indian Summer 👍👍😁❤️
Great video. We are zgraver 12 acers grass for milking cows. Q load every 2 days. 10 acers 2 km down the road and 2 acers over the road a famer give us to grave for him.2.5 km. A local and cutting for us.
Lucky on the weather front there Adrian! I hear Cork is covered in water. Here in coastal Oregon we have new fires starting, nasty warm breezes, and not a sniff of the cold.
Yes those are the same mats we got for our horse , they are supposed to go that way because the water / wee is supposed to run down the underside channels , but I know what you mean , terrible to clean and weigh a ton . Have you seen the flexible cubicles Tom Pemberton used in his new shed , they even look comfortable 😅 As always , love your videos because you take pride in everything , machinery , yard everything , clean and very tidy 👍👍
I just want to say thank you for sharing your busy farm life with us/me. I look forward to each instalment and it removes me from my life and loving yours!! Thank you 😊
Cracking video Adrian. Doesn’t the time come around very quickly when feeding and putting in cattle comes. You remind me of Gerry6420 the way you look after your machinery which Will serve you in good sted for a good number of years
Good man Adrian, really enjoyable video again. Lots of jobs done to get ready for the ladies going in. Just seen the forecast for the coming week, they may have to stay in during the day also 🤦🏻♂️
Those mats were defo the wrong way up before you moved them over. Iv seen umpteen mats over my 32 yrs of cows and they were wrong. Good channel only just come across you Adrian!
If you do replace any stalls would you go for same again or would you look at the ones similar to Tom Pemberton has they appear strong but cow friendly. Another great video thank you.
Adrian, you had a section of video on tarmac pothole repair. I would like to see this one again but can't find it. Can you let me know the date. Thanks in advance
Totally shocked that you call a late season warm streak an Indian Summer. When did it get to be used in Ireland? Love your channel keep up the great videos. Oh yeah, can I come live in your cottage?
I had them alfco mats before and the cows ate every one of them. I put it down to pica. Salt licks seemed to sort it. I put down them rubber mats too. They won't eat them anyway🤣
Ya a neighbour of mine got the same ones at the same time and his were the exact same. Was told it’s something in the binding agent that causes it. Thankfully non of the cattle got sick from them
I got mine in Fast Parts online but just like Paul said below you can get them fairly easily country wide. Hay Knife, long enough to reach over a bale to cut it and large enough not to loose it 😉. Takes ordinary Stanley blades
U need a machinery shed! Condon engineering in collon make those u bolts. Mayo mats are excellent. Will last for decades. Why not feed bales with sheergrab. Check it out on UA-cam.
The u bolts on the cubicles won't car or lorry exhaust bracket clamps work, just a thought 🤔 or try scaffolding clamps looks about the same size diameter pole
Just wondering what was the writing on the wall of the double shed and Adrian u said in one of your last videos u said u got something to make feeding the cows easier in the winter im just wondering when will u b showing that
Adrian, you are a hard worker. A credit to your family, your animal welfare, farm and equipment. Well done. Hope the winter is kind to you all.
Thanks Robert
Thank god for hard working farmers. Fascinating insight videos Adrian. Many thanks.

Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada great videos thanks for sharing 😊
Good job Adrian! The weather is definitely changing and we unfortunately have to accept winter is coming. Seeing the cows eating after coming in from green grass tells me that the silage is in good shape. Seeing the family help you is always nice.

That styling job you did on your tractor is massive. It seems to be really shinning in this vid. :)

Good for a coffee mug “Only one way of getting it done…let’s get at it!”
Great video Adrian you @ Nicole make a good team @ get the job done 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴
Cows couldn't look happier with that bale silage!
I can smell that haylage all the way across the pond. I hope my bales are as nice as the ones you opened. It's still a bit warm here in Maine this week to open bales...and I can hardly wait.
Great tidy set up in the shed🤠
Adrian, your cows are looking well !
I think everyone is getting winter prep done now. I’ve a few things to move out of a field before we turn the horses out for winter grazing. Then back on to the summer grazing to muck spread and repair fences.
You want to put the shear grab on top of a old tyre (old one of your loader tractor) it will help the cutting edge. Keep up the good work.
Busy day but you got it done .Great job.
Once again another enjoyable & interesting video well done 👍👍
Your tractor looks beautiful!
That is a big job getting the sheds ready for winter and finding a winter home for all the equipment.
I hope you get a nice long Indian Summer 👍👍😁❤️
always like to watch your videos and just see how neat tidy you keep your farm in. always good to see. and that is one VERY shiny red tractor!!!!!

Great video. We are zgraver 12 acers grass for milking cows. Q load every 2 days. 10 acers 2 km down the road and 2 acers over the road a famer give us to grave for him.2.5 km. A local and cutting for us.
That's a lot a loader work for a man that didn't think he needed a loader..👍
Very true, didn’t know what I was missing. Fierce handy
You've made some job of that tractor do... she really was a beauty in disguise...fair play...
Hi Adrian
When I move rubber stable mats I use plumbers pipe wrenches to clamp on the edge instead of wrestling with the heavy unwieldy things.
Nice job on the mats.
Back to the busy times
Another deadly video Adrian 👍,tuning in from Dubai on holidays heading home tomorrow to do the same job 😮💨
Safe journey home Chris, there’ll be a big temperature change when the plane door open 🤣
Lucky on the weather front there Adrian! I hear Cork is covered in water. Here in coastal Oregon we have new fires starting, nasty warm breezes, and not a sniff of the cold.
"Indian Summer!" I've fours days of heavy rain n lightening haha
Ya it didn’t materialise here either, unless the summers are wet and cold in India 🤣
Cow cubicles, l have welded up loads of them. From cracked to completely broken off. Where there is livestock there is lots of maintenance and muck!
Those mats with the bubble grip are heavy. We use them under horses with straw bed.
Just saw your channel today and subscribed because I've got some catching up to do. You have an amazing voice, Loving it from nova scotia❤
Welcome aboard Maxine
God this was a great video. 👌👍.
I just want to say thank you for sharing your busy farm life with us/me. I look forward to each instalment and it removes me from my life and loving yours!! Thank you 😊
Thanks mate, glad your enjoying our vids 👍
Great video 👍
Great job
Rodger Gault in the sandholes. Cookstown co Tyrone. Should be able to sort you with u bolts. They make them. 👍
A lot of that gear should be on pallets to move around with your forks.
Cracking video Adrian. Doesn’t the time come around very quickly when feeding and putting in cattle comes. You remind me of Gerry6420 the way you look after your machinery which Will serve you in good sted for a good number of years
Yes this year flew by
Cheers Paddy
Great video Adrian, it's that joyful time of year getting ready for housing stock.
Great video Adrian 👀👍🙄
good luck with the herd test
👍
Good man Adrian, really enjoyable video again. Lots of jobs done to get ready for the ladies going in. Just seen the forecast for the coming week, they may have to stay in during the day also 🤦🏻♂️
Yes they’ll be in full time soon, a lot of rain last night again
@@IFarmWeFarm it was a rough weekend for sure.
Would love to see the place after a good jet washing.
Make your own U Bolts for the cubicles 6mm Threaded rod comes in 3 metre lengths bend it yourself Job done Subbed
Adrian, those U Clamps you require, measure the diameter of the tubing and get some exhaust clamps
Hi Adrian for your u bolts in the house would exhaust clamps maybe fit. great job 👍 👍
Such a terrible week of rain since you made that video
Ya a site of rain this last 2 weeks, pity as land was in great order
Please good video 🙂😁
Thanks 😊
"U" clamps I would have tried screwed rod used to be about a £1 a meter length
Those mats were defo the wrong way up before you moved them over. Iv seen umpteen mats over my 32 yrs of cows and they were wrong. Good channel only just come across you Adrian!
If you do replace any stalls would you go for same again or would you look at the ones similar to Tom Pemberton has they appear strong but cow friendly. Another great video thank you.
Yes similar to Toms would suit better, more room to cows to move about
Another great video Adrian, hard going doing the work plus capturing and editing video also. We'll done.
It's well in
Lovely setup and great video! Does the bale splitter work on the front loader?
I had them alfco mats before and the cows ate every one of them. I put it down to pica. Salt licks seemed to sort it.
I put down them rubber mats too. They won't eat them anyway🤣
Ya a neighbour of mine got the same ones at the same time and his were the exact same. Was told it’s something in the binding agent that causes it. Thankfully non of the cattle got sick from them
we had the same the last 2 springtimes and it turned out to be a phosphorus deficiency. phosphorus buckets sorted it
First
Exhaust clamps from the auto parts store might be a cheap source for your broken u bolts on the cubicles.
Adrian could you not use all thread for them cubicles, place is looking great, you never stop horse
Great work would you consider welding the euro hook on the bale spliter.
Yes definitely, gonna try a few bale shears this winter to see how they compare first. One coming this week
Good man Adrian you make it look so easy ha love the videos every Sunday. Tell me did you sharpen the bale splitter and how ?
Not yet but I use a paper mini grinder disc, it’s like sand paper on a disc and then finish with a file. That way you can never blue the blade
At 18:20 you can hear, that its not only Ferrari red, but also sounds like one. (almost)
Question Adrian, where did you get that fine yellow sword for the plastic?
It’s called “hay knife”. Easy got online or agri stores
I got mine in Fast Parts online but just like Paul said below you can get them fairly easily country wide. Hay Knife, long enough to reach over a bale to cut it and large enough not to loose it 😉. Takes ordinary Stanley blades
Thanks gents - another one for the winter list 👍
I was just going to ask the same thing. Bale looks Great.
Your such an amazing farming
Not really Shirley , we do our best like most other farmers in the hope all goes well
U need a machinery shed! Condon engineering in collon make those u bolts. Mayo mats are excellent. Will last for decades. Why not feed bales with sheergrab. Check it out on UA-cam.
Look forward to the next….. You spend the summer making silage, hay etc and the winter feeding it. Sleep, eat, milk cows and do it again …..
Your like the rest of us Adrian, you could do with a machinery shed
It’s top of my list now, prices are mad though
Too many toys 😂
Well done to you and the girls! That was some days work, no wonder ya were wrecked. How'd the girls game go, win??
No Barry they were beating unfortunately, it was the club county semi finally, they were heart broken to say the least
@@IFarmWeFarm unfortunate alright, they will get another shot next year. Will be waitin for a video of the cup coming up the lane!
The year has gone fast
Too fast 🙈
The u bolts on the cubicles won't car or lorry exhaust bracket clamps work, just a thought 🤔 or try scaffolding clamps looks about the same size diameter pole
I most look about that, thanks Peter
have you thought about adapting the green gilutine to the front end loader?
Yes very much so, we have a few silage bale shears coming on demo this winter to see how they compare first.
Great video again I c u have t shirt out if u suffer with back tuc it in ask ur dad
What size are those U Bolts that you need ???
I got a few today, exhaust mounts in fact which done the job 👍
18:25 F1 massey style Lol
Just wondering what was the writing on the wall of the double shed and Adrian u said in one of your last videos u said u got something to make feeding the cows easier in the winter im just wondering when will u b showing that
Condon eng Collon for cubical u bolt
