Now I'm pretty convinced that the Tsaritsa is The Boar Princess. She's always been depicted as very benevolent and very kind. She's said to have been a recluse only since the Cataclysm, but before that she was an amazing and sweet god. But I'm still wondering what the story itself is meant to represent or convey.

@@motemo8413 It could be childe, since he is depicted as a wolf in official art and it coincides with childe's role in project stuzha to possibly be a vessel for the revived 3rd descender. The foul legacy is also likely originated from surtalogi, skirk's master, who in norse mythology is the sword of surtr, who burns away the old world at the beginning of ragnarok (coincides with the shivada gemstone line as well)

I think the Boar Princess story sounds a lot like the story of the Snow Queen. There were two kids growing up together, the boy gets his heart pierced by a piece of a magical mirror (could easily be replaced by ice) and becomes heartless and cold, and then the snow queen takes him away. His friend from the village goes after him, and she has all kinds of adventures before finally finding him in the snow queen's ice palace, curing him of his affliction, and bringing him home again. So, if the Boar Princess is based on this story (which it seems to be in part), then the notable addition is the two companions who are sacrificed and the lack of a snow queen to take the boy/wolf away in the first place. If the girl is the Tsaritsa, then the reason for the lack of the snow queen is obvious: she's going to become the snow queen. But the two companions...? I'm not sure. In any case, I hope we get some more lore that clarifies this soon!
I mean the very important detail to add to all the above; the author of that fairy tale is Hans Christian Anderson.
To the point that I was actually shocked we talked about him but Snow Queen didn't get name dropped in the video.

might be a stretch but could woobakwa be surtalogi? in the original cn the title "the foul" basically translates to something like "extremely evil knight" and childe's "foul legacy transformation" is basically "demon king armament", which aligns with woobakwa being the most evil sorcerer in the world. also the all-devouring narwhal is also known for its ravenous hunger which is why it was trying to drink the primordial sea, aligning with the book's theme of gluttony.
Maybe since "Woobakwa was so furious that he cursed the pup using the most foul and insulting words ever uttered by a squirrel" Using a Foul as the Curse is also not coincident.

no matter how much people hate on this game i haven never seen a more detailed and well thought out story than genshin in any other gacha game.
This story is like 100% allegories, all these characters are representations of actual beings that behaved in the same way. Not so much gluttony but the overarching sin which is greed, just the wanting of something. Representations in the most evil way where you completely disregard the negative effects on others while you get what you want. The boar princess is about the satiation of desires (for power, for sustenance, for anything) without consequences.
Given that we know that godly power in genshin can be consumed and gained (consecrated beasts, lectors) and used it certainly brings it to a different light. Who did the 5 sinner's consume then?
amazing video! i'd like to add another point i think will help your argument ^^ hans christian andersen also wrote "the snow queen" (see?), and the boar princess' overarching storyline most closely resembles the snow queen. a kid gets his heart pierced by a shard of glass/ice and becomes bitter, skeptical, and is essentially abducted by the snow queen. he sees nothing but bad in the world and in people. his best friend, a young girl, goes on a journey and meets various people and helps them out, and they help her in turn to find her friend again. at the end, with the help of a magical old lady whom she helped earlier on her journey, she manages to melt away the ice shards stuck in her friend's heart, and the story ends happily. at least this is what I remember of the tale. the titular snow queen actually has very little part in it... make of this what you will!
You know The Traveler being the Wolf Fenrir will make sense to how the traveler like joking and call Paimon emerngcy food bc if Paimon is a god of Celestia or even Phanes (who just like Odin is the god of the gods)itself then maybe the Traveler will "eat" Paimon just like Fenrir eat Odin 💀😭

Tsaritsa is the Boar princess. Traveler is the wolf.
From Tsaritsa perspective she is saving the world the Traveler is consuming it.
Traveler kills the Doctor, the wise fox, and then the Jester, the old Turtle.
Signora is the evil mage. She was cursing the Traveler before her end.
i feel like the boar princess might be the previous cryo archon. not the tsaritsa, but her predecessor (so cocolia?). the wolf pup could be pierro, and what they're working together on now might be because of whatever happened to the prev cryo archon.
whichever archon the princess is, i could almost see tartaglia and pulcinella being the fox and turtle, who might get sacrificed for the fatui's plan. but that's probably crack.

I'll contribute some more:
Like @Ianfae pointed out below, there's a commection with the snow queen tale by Amdersen. The whole genshin lore revolves around the sense of vision and ambitions (oculi and visions, illusions and delusions). You also have the kaenrian, fatui and eremite who got access to forbidden knowledge, and strangely enough they keep one eye patched. Some characters are blind or have blind siblomgs important in lore (the whiteknight's blind brother for instance who met viridescent venerer and died in sumeru).
Some characters look like cyclops, miss one eye, while others like they have a third eye. I'm just noticing oculi references are consistent in genhsin.
Besides the cautionary tale and themes of young love and coming into age of reason, what caught my attention is a special mirror made by trolls (like the ring of nabelung you referred in snother video) that shattered when they tried to to take it to the heavens to mock the gods. Consider the particularity of this mirror to reflect and magnify the uggliest parts of people's soul, and the reverse of demon-gods. There's the trope of the abbyss reflecting the skies, the moon reflected into the abbyss (viagarah , king of sumeru forest appeared when the moon reflected on the contraption made by rhukadevata to control the rain in the area).
I would argue that the 7 parts of the mirror (7 chapters of andersen tale) could be the 7 gnose, and the visions could be when humans/eyes heart get corrupted by one of the shards of the mirror.
There's also the part of 7 Constellations for each character. It appears that humans just like the 3rd descender get their existence split in 7 Parts: soul, body, essence maybe? i dunno.
The mirror could also be the genesis pearl if it wasn't the body of the third descender given to the srchons most "avid of power" (gluttony). This is debatable, as the 1st gen archons didn't seem to ever have pursued power. Maybe having one theme like "contract", "eternity or justice, freedom is not a bad thing to rule a land. Its just that, if i recall properly, the story refers to these as obsessions.
Even though not being one of the 7 cardinal sins, maybe there's value in considerong the other side of the coin when ambition is involved: sumeru sages obession for knowledge (hives mind, karkata master dying for his research etc.). King remus, deshret, decarabian all were rulers focused/obsessed with one thing and it brought unhappiness to their people. They did the same mistake as their predecessors over and over again.
One can also argue that the shards are more like delusions. King irmin gave up 1 eye for wisdom. It happened at the well deep under the roots of the irminsul.
By the way, about the eagle and dragon, there are also instances where this bird is a phoenix in Chinese cosmology (tree of life / Fusang). I thought i would mention it as the theme of natian seems to be resurection and there's this image if the irminsul burning and dottore in the foreground. I'm not sure if its the tree of knowledge of the one of life that's being burned. I would tend for thr former, to destroy ley lines..but the tree of life is the one who gives fruits of immortality so it fits better if someone is being resurrected during Natlan. Besides, the abbyss twin is the one more interested in new ley lines, not the fatui.
Another trivia about the snow queen tale: she's compared to the queen of bees where snowflakes are bees. I believe i saw a video of yours about bees and remuria not so long ago.
Besides that, i agree, the boar princess could be connected to the tsarita, or the sal vindagnyr princess and Andrius Boreas. But Roselyne story seems to fit : rostam was the wolf pup in the knights of favonius, he seemed kinda obsessed too with being a hero until he met rosalyne, if you read his friend artefacts story. Its no secret that the crimson witch seems to have given way to her love obession in grief before she sccepted pierro cryo delusion to forger her pain and who she was. Btw both tsarita in the cryo gemstone description, and pierro refer to the old world burning. Crimson. It appears as if tsarita was as important piece of the tsarita/pierro plan: she may have been a pawn promoted to queen... ? 🤔🤪. The love triangle between Rosalyne, rostam and his friend and captain if the knights of favonius, seem to reflect that of perimeri.
And that story is when we got introduced to arlecchino and the crimson dynasty.
About the melting the ice hickup: there is a pecial ice in dragon spine, that requires crimson quartz to melt.
I believe the crimson Agathe and quartz could have been placed by Rhinedottir or durin on dragon spine. Which would explain why it had to be the traveler to come as another Outlander, to feed the frostbearing tree with those shards engineered by missy.
In the game world there is a story based on Andersen's "The Steadfast Tin Soldier", so I wouldn't be surprised if The Boar Princess somehow refers to another of his stories, maybe "The Snow Queen"?
If this (slightly changed) version of The Steadfast Tin Soldier was actually written by Andersdotter, we could conclude that she lived at least over 400 years ago 🤔

It's hard to pin down when Andersdotter lived, since she could have information about distant future or distant past. After all, she was friends with the setting's foremost scientists and prophets. We only know that she had a reasonable lifespan, and she lived after Barbatos became the archon of Mondstadt (because she was present at tea parties in the floating island).

I just finished Aranyaka: Mysterious Clipboards where Traveler finally opened the last path to hidden treasure(s) No. 9 and was greeted by Aranara.
The striking conversation between them:
???: " Eek! It's Golden Nara! There is the taste of the wind, the taste of earth, and the taste of Aranara!"
???: "Golden Nara has figure out the Ararakalari of Arayama?"
???: "How dreadful! Obstructions are useless, anyone can break in, and the "happy nest" of Araminali will be "broken!"."
Paimon: "Um... Paimon guessed so! (Traveler) and Paimon are on Aranara's Side. We want to be Aranara's good friends."
Traveler: "Paimon is gluttonous, but not bad in nature."
Paimon: "Hey! That's technically not wrong, though..."
Later they recovered the seed they found in the Chasm, watered it into Aranara.
The said Aranara then went into journey to "gift" treasures into the "empty chests" so Traveler can open it as rewards...?

I can't believe you're not mentioning the Snow Queen by Andersen one bit? (which is the reference for The Boar Princess book)
Actually, you know who else read the Boar Princess book? it's Nahida. And I think Nahida is one of the example of Boar Princess's character in action because for some reason, Wanderer reminds me of the wolf pup (and Ratatoskr would be Dottore or something). But after thinking about it again, her Homecoming SQ is more fitting to the whole scenario (Nahida = Boar Princess, Apep = Wolf pup, companions = Apep's family, Ratatoskr = Deshret)
Also, something about the namecard for the Imaginarium Theater achievement reminds me one of the characters from the Snow Queen, Kai, which the Queen promised him if he is able to spell "eternity" correctly, she would free him.
"There must be an eternity forged from "memory" at the end of this path."
Now, I think, factions of Teyvat's rebellion kinda had this thing about trying to be the best one on saving humanity's humanity (?). Controversial but by this, I might think that Tsaritsa would be the wolf pup than she's being the Snow Queen if somehow she's like Kai? Because she's trying to make the good ending (eternity) for human beings (?)

The physical depiction of Boar Princess kinda reminded me of Rosaria, and the wolf pup is Razor.
It seems like they have no connection to that book (which so far, it is) and Rosaria seems to be the cold hearted one but someone pointed out that Razor's last birthday art having him playing with a wolf puppet that looks like the wolf in Imaginarium Theater.
I don't know if that's anything but I think about it.

All this *Ratatoskr* talk has had me thinking:
The recent introduction of *Vedrfolnir* and the _other_ sinners by name has made a point clear: certain elements of Genshin's overall story that were introduced way back then can, and will, get paired to NEW characters... so trying to force the *Traveler* and *Tsaritsa* into certain _roles_ is "bad" in the sense that it ignores certain characters that probably fit the bill way better and haven't been introduced yet - namely, the people from the Batlepass animation: The OG Abyss Princess (now Queen?) who was seduced by the Serpent, the "OG Traveller" who was sent after the Genesis Pearl in her stead (and may be the dead 3rd Descender... then eaten by the Princess' friends)...
Wait a minute... could it be that the wolf that lives in the tundra would be the Tsaritsa and we (the traveler) are the Boar Princess, in a quest to melt her frozen heart by bringing her some "emergency food" to feast?

There's one other detail that you didn't mention, Yelan intercepted an offer to tsaritsa, which was the fur from Yelan's coat. It reads "In fact, the beast is so powerful it died centuries ago, its body remains intact today, and its fur still emits a mysterious fragrance. Refrator had intended it as an offer to the Tsaritsa, yet Yelan unexpectedly intercepted it."

I wouldn't call that a Chemistry Lesson since I had to significantly simplify it for the sake of the video. Just don't eat fast foods and stay healthy.
Some random thoughts on the Boar Princess:
1) No, the Wise Fox and the Old Turtle aren't the Boar Princess' true friends. They very clearly attempted to drive her to suicide, by suggesting that the Boar Princess herself should sacrifice herself to Andrius. But the Boar Princess tricked them and came out as the winner.
2) Andersdotter being a daughter of Andrius? It would make sense, if she was like Razor.
3) I think the wolf pup being Andrius the Wolfinator gives us a key to unraveling the rest of the mystery. This tale is a record of the Archon War in Mondstadt, written in an Irminsul-proof way.
Boar Princess is Venti, Turtle is Decarabian, and the fox must be an ancestor of Yae Miko and Sucrose. After Decarabian was slain in a rebellion, Andrius mysteriously warmed up and gave up on fighting for the throne of Anemo Archon. The tale suggests this is because he consumed some of Decarabian's essence, and it allowed him to overcome whatever caused him to fight in the Archon War (which, I think, is Forbidden Knowledge that the squirrel possessed) and back down from the fight, becoming a mysterious ghost he is now. And the fox's followers had to escape to Inazuma, where they took control of the Sacred Sakura from tanuki.
4) If the above is right, this fairy tale might be our biggest clue on the nature of gods and the archon war. It's not gluttony - like Oceanids, they can become much greater by consuming one another. And then they can split apart, like when Makoto created Ei, or when Venti split from the rest of thousand winds.

There's one problem I have with this theory.
In Norse mythology there is a *SQUIRREL* who runs up and down the world tree Yggdrasil to carry messages between the eagles perched atop it and the serpent Níðhöggr who dwells beneath one of the three roots of the tree.... He tells slanderous gossip, provoking the eagle and Nidhogg.
This squirrel is named Ratatoskr. Which, if you look at the etymology, includes the word for "tusk" and "traveler".
We're the squirrel who got eaten by the wolf and got angry about it.
Or, alternatively... our sibling is.
And ONE of the five Sinners is named Vedrfolnir... which is the name of a hawk perched between the eyes of an eagle atop the world tree.

Well, the wolf pup is Andrius, who lived in a self-made frozen tundra during the time of Decarabian.
And I think the generous but cunning boar princess, who outwitted the fox and the turtle, was Venti/Barbatos himself.
The fox was probably unimportant, or maybe we'll see more of her later. But the turtle seems to be Decarabian, after whose death Andrius suddenly warmed up.
But who was the ice fairy, if such big names as Barbatos and Decarabian would need her help? Unless she is Istaroth, the goddess of time, and her price is the Erosion that gods suffer from to this day.

The allegory is too thick to reliably identify any of the real people the characters in the book are based on.
If anything, it feels like there's several stories woven into one.
For example, Venti is actually named in the story as the Anemo Archon, yet we don't know for certain if the story happened or if it's a prophecy. The only people willing to sacrifice their own friends to achieve their goals are Khaenri'ahns and the Fatui, but the Tsaritsa used to be genuinely good, so she wouldn't have sacrificed her friends in the distant past, but it might be something she's willing to do now.
