Chris staying with safa and Taylor during the little hill for a big guy impressive and then when you start descending bye bye way to go Chris for us bigger guys
100% - getting dropped on the descent you can put down to weight. But then struggling to hold the guy's wheel on the flats and climbs.... guy is a monster
@@roarkbjorn2389why are you commenting on every post saying he’s roided up? Dude doesn’t look like he’s on gear at all. Just a big dude who prioritizes weights and eating.
having driven these roads at 60mph+ dozens of times, I have a new found appreciation for these guys doing it on 2 tires. These roads are notorious for gravel and pebble as well as a ton of traffic around the dozens of blind corners. Great job! The last 2K or so is the same road we saw Peter Sagan ripping down the hill towards Foothill Blvd on the way to finish line at the Rose Bowl at Tour of California a few years back.
The chain fix was insane, I appreciate that. If my chain would have dropped at those speed, I would have stopped immediately. If those chain would have touched with any spokes then whole wheel might have collapsed and that would have been very fatal.
I once had my chain drop, hit my spokes blowing out quite a few, my tire instantly collapsed and I went flying, luckily I wasn't going very fast. I was so scared for him since he could have literally died at those speeds with the chain flapping like that.
@@chrishildreth169 Weighed in this morning at 206. Heaviest rider in our group, cheapest bike, but I stay consistent and that's what keeps me riding with them. Power on!
Angeles Crest was recently repaved. Not sure if you filmed this after that. The new pavement really helps in the last 10 minutes or so of this video where there is a line of pine trees. They used to have roots uplifting the road on the curve; just at the worst place. Well, not anymore with the new pavement!
I rode 20 miles of a 45 mile ride @ 45 mph with a tailwind yesterday, and it was a 20 mph wind. Max speed was 46.1 and the sides had rocks and traffic, so i had to keep it down. Thats fast. I came out of the Virginia City, NV area and was being blown all over the place. Very dangerous. BTW im 65...
Fantastic ride Safa!Chris is a powerhouse! It seemed like you coasted more than they did yet you never lost pace! Maybe it's your bike🤔More likely your riding Position!.🤗Superb Video Dude!🤘😎🤘
Although I have been to this location before last year, I drove there instead of biking. Watching your video was overwhelming for my heart, but I couldn't resist the urge to keep watching. Your video was captivating.
I watched whole video including every each second and minutes. IT WAS TRULY INSPIRING AND BREATHTAKING! It's always the same feeling that I've watched your videos all the time. Thanks a lot for that what you're doing and what you're 'trying' to do. PLEASE JUST KEEP ON. Cycling is something we have to feel by doing. I'm super high right now while I'm writing this comment. When I smoke marijuana always I'm wanting to cycle immediately and feel that I'm living, and understanding. How grateful I am, you can't imagine and understand. Thanks again and over again.
WTF - Maniac is smashing it down one handed fixing the dropped chain with the other and beast mode at 50mph. HULK mad! lol such an amazing speed session
I am at a loss to what is scarier.... The descending....... or.....(imo) That cat suit!!! hahaha....I do know this.. if you turned up in that outfit with me.... I'd make SURE I rode the other way.......FOR SURE!
This is the second video I watched from you guys. Very fast and powerful to watch. Each video so far has shown a violation of the road rules i.e., crossing the double yellow lines. Regardless of how you may see that, I cannot share your videos to others when you show a bad example. This is a pity, because other than those infrigements the videos are great.
I pray for you guys safety......coming down 2 at that speed with traffic coming at you around blind curves.......rrrbbblllll......I no longer take risks like that.......

Safa - can you do a video on your setup - like what tires, tubes and pressures you run? What’s your bar drop? How do you set up your saddle? Etc. Thanks.
Good on the car driver for actually staying away from you guys after the pass... That would have been annoying to get passed by the car to only have to caught it back up in the sweepers. What was up with the chain? Wondering if there was a bit too much drag in the free hub that was causing it to undo itself?
Dude holding the handlebar with one hand while fixing the chain with the other while going at 45mph is a confidence Ill never have.
ridiculous
Definitely never… like ever, never… 😅
unreal!
He is Pitbull on roadbike. Relentles and strong. This is best video of Safa and Taylor with this beast of pitbull
Dude just beat the williams bros in a crit a few weeks ago too 🔥

doing a froome is not aero dynamic science has proved this
This camera angle makes this look way sketchier than normal. I love it

its only a matter of time before they are seriously hurt or worse
dammmn chain drop and bike maintenance at 60kph , thats super sketchy AF

wake up babe,SAFA brian just posted
Thanks a lot SAFA, now I'm 24 minutes late to work!
Great descent, some great lines at insane speeds but the "fat guy" repositionig the chain and keeping it's lines was mind blowing. Huge respect.
Sweating the entire time watching that 😅. Windowlicker is built different changing that chain bombing down the hill and curves doing 45 plus
Soo sick. Fixing the chain twice while rolling through on a descent was ridiculous
Great vid, refreshing to see someone not having an ectomorph body type ☺
