We had the same fog in 2003. I still recall the noise of nearby cowbells from invisible cows. We climbed this route. I vividly recall the corner at 5:55, and even the song that was in my head. It's still etched in my memory. Loved the Pyrenees. Thanks for sharing
Finally you upload the Aubisque descent ! It means a lot to me. You are the main reason I started yt cycling videos. Now living in the Alps but grew up at the footstep of the Aubisque it is so cool to see you blasting down here ❤ such a shame you had this typical pyrenean fog cause it's so beautiful. Cheers Safa, waiting for you around Annecy !
The guy pedals backwards to lift internal leg while cornering (at 4:14 for example). I used to do the same, but it is a bad habit because if you shift before that the chain can be jammed in a drivetrain. Got this happen a couple times and now I tried to pedal this half a turn forward
"love" and digg u for ages now^^ so i always think about the people climbing up on their bikes and you crossing their way, what they'd say if they knew THE damn bikesports-pushing and skilled legend just bombed downhill next to them. Please, stay humble, but also embrace the fact, that you've accomplished alot, in a very natural and authentic, passionate way. Love it, thanks and keep going
I love it up there. Went up once and freezing hail set in. Me and some basque geezer were let into the cafe by builders and got warmed up. Too cold ti descend without stopping to warm hands, on a donkey on one occaision. Got to the valley and it was lovely and warm, ended up sunburnt that day!
Rode this about 8 years ago...going up the Aubisque. Nice to see it going downhill, and seeing some of the spots that my memory holds where I would say "how much left in this climb?"
Nice descent! I was amazed there were so many other cyclists. When you pass you use english (left), I think I would use French and maybe even Spanish as well.
Now I see why this bike are so much money there really meant for speed Efficiency holding 30+ and maintaining it Y’all really have a lot of bike time Must be a dream those roads
As usual, sweaty palms whislt watching. Wow. Any chance you could share your gopro settings ? Love the cinematic feel of your videos. Post process also ? All the best.
First day back on the stationary bike since I wrecked the other one a while back. Put it on the hardest setting (cheapo bike, so it's not that tough) and went for it the whole video. I'm going to suffer at work. Cheers for the video. Have to do another one now i've cooled down again, heh.
I'm wondering exactly where you placed the camera. Also do you use a separate anti-vibration for the camera? I looked at the set part in the description, but I couldn't understand exactly which set you used on which ride. I really like how you ride in this exact position and I want to know the angle you use. is this a head mount? chest mount?

Brian have you ever done Mt Lemon in Tucson, AZ? I tried the climb in 2021 but then bailed half way through as I totally bonked. Later that day tested positive for Covid.
Hey Brian, how do you apply pressure with your hands when you’re descending? Do you push down on the inside and pull up on the outside, vice versa, or not at all?
Where I live motorists hate cyclists so much. They even purposely hit and run too. As a beginner cyclist I never understood why they hate us so much until I see your video. Thank you for your video.
@@cursedrr8647 Yes, also it appears to me that these gentlemen lives with a “YOLO” attitude. It’s great to see that. But these cyclists should also think about vehicle drivers also. I honestly like watching the videos but on the other hand i have to say that i find safa's driving in many of the videos just plain stupid. it would be a nice video without all the traffic offences.
like anything else in life do it long enough and gain and understanding of your limits. mistakes can happen at any level. for most this level seems extreme. but for them who do it daily and know the bike and roads this is pretty normal. even i have local descents i can ride no brakes unless required. descents i dont know im going pretty casual.
Bunch of absolute idiots. Wrong side of the road, speeding, overtaking motorists and other cyclists around blind corners, but play the victim when you get taken out by a truck. This is the most irresponsible riding ever seen from a bunch of Temporary citizens
Cycling like this, down a mountain, must be one of the most amazing feelings.
most dangerous as well

Wow that mini map on top right is so cool
How did they accomplish this in editing?
The fog adds another level to the beauty in this one on top of skills I'm sure took years to develop. Another epic upload 🤙🏿

Lovely Aubisque - Laruns, thanks Safa and Taylor! Narrow roads make up for great climbing, but descending is always pretty sketchy
This was the most nerve shredding! Amazing skill.
We rode the Aubisque one month ago. Luckily we had perfect weather. Nice Video. Greetings from Austria.
How splendid a world devoid of motorcars must be, wouldn't you agree?
Until it storms or you get a mechanical you can't fix...
Wouldn't have any of these roads though
trust me they say the same about cyclists too

$200 bike lamps for visibility??? NAHHHH!!!
$20K on bikes??? YEAHHHHH!!!

You’re too small minded to understand that lamps are used for visibility as well as for illuminating your way.

How this video was done? With what programs?

where do you have your camra mouted for this angle?
