Thanks for all your videos. They are great! Do you use the TDS GTN 750? Can you change the databases manually? Have you tried LPV and RF-legs? Can it fly that? I dont have MSFS yet, But now I am considering it 😊🚁 Regards from HEMS crew member/left-seater H145 D2/D3 and H135 T3.
I use the PMS version, and I have the paid version. The system will fly ILS, VOR and RNAV-LPV (although the RNAV approaches are a little buggy, sometimes they capture properly and sometimes they don't). I do know IRL there is a trick to getting it to capture (switching to HDG mode, arming the approach and switching back to NAV mode at some critical point, but I can't say for sure when/how). This simulation does a really good job with all of it and has especially recently upgraded the AFCS logic to handle ILS/VOR/RNAV intercept angles much more realistically.
@@Shipmeck Since you have a paid version of the GTN750, I was wondering why you did not use the Vcalc utility to calculate your VS rate of decent? In any case thanks for showing the RNAV approach, I have the H145 & H160 and my GTN750 is still the freeware and does not have the VNAN/Vcalc functionality. It would be nice if HPG would automatically couple the GTN750 VNAV...thanks for sharing. By the way you are flying that H145 like a pro...lol, me I am still learning and very dependent on the Ipad table for autopilot. I have liked and subscribed
well done. Sir. Unfortunately the H160 does not know how to fly an RNAV LNAV+VNAV either. Not the offical version 48 , not the much applauded revisiòn 78 . You still have to "dive" into the FAF "like no ones bussisnes" wich is nonsense if the RNAV is more complex and winding road to stay away from obstacles..... pointed out months ago.... The GS is supposed to pull you down ..... at that 2500 ft crossing....and signal it from far, far away from it ( dot at the top wich you awaited too )

Perfeito.
