Carpenter's key - found in the CATHEDRAL, requires INVERSE to obtain
Carpenter's door - found in Oriental Sorcery Lab, in the stairway above the fast travel point
Millionaire's key - Found in the first large room in the DEN OF BEHEMOTHS
Millionaire's door - found in the HALL OF TERMINATION
Warhorse's key - found at the end of the dead-end hallway across from the fast travel point in the GLACIAL TOMB
Warhorse's door - found at the bottom left of the large room connected to the GARDEN OF SILENCE - Ігри
I think the slot machine is Iga's way of making fun of Konami for turning Castlevania into it in erotic pachinko game

Dunno if this has been written here elsewhere, but afaik Celeste's room is actually a tribute to the kitty in the portrait, who was owned by one of the special backers (those who got their portrait in the game etc) and unfortunately passed. This was their way to pay tribute to them.
Okay I always wondered what that rooms purpose was for I assume there was a hidden item or something.

I found it easier to fight the carpenter while inverted. He was unable to through knives at me and all I really had to deal with was the flying demon. Thanks for the video.
invert is the proper "cheese" method for the carpenter, IMO. The room even gives the clue as the symbol beneath the saw becomes a check mark. equip a great sword and stay under the carpenter and hes pretty much harmless
I LOVED this game! Lvl 77, 568 atk, just YOINKING everything in the way and having fun trying to know all secrets...
Use invert to fight these bosses upside down, and it's a lot easier.

Actually, the jackpot thing is susceptible to time stop. So, if you already got it, it's EZ kill with no risk at all

All of these bosses are pretty easy but they deal very high damage so they do capitalize on any mistake you make. I suggest using a weapon with good reach or magic so you don't have to be so close to them. Once nice thing is that the boss door only closes the first time you fight them, after that it stays open so you are free to escape on repeat fights.
The hardest one is by far the Master Carpenter, but his moveset is very limited so once you learn how to deal with him he actually becomes the easiest as both billionaires bane and revenant can be quite erratic at tines.
Carpenter can be hard because his attack is throwing a chisel at you, his aim is very good, it flies fast and deals high damage but it can be dodged quite easily after you get used to it, my tactic is to just do a high jump right before he throws and that will be enough to dodge it. Doing the jump straight up is best so you can stay at your melee distance of choice. When he starts summoning a demon take the opportunity to get as many free hits on him as possible, if he's still alive and manages to summon a demon I suggest killing the demon as quickly as possible so you won't have to deal with two enemies.
If Millionaire's Bane roll a Jackpot he pops gold coins everywhere and dies instantly, EZ kill EZ money.
it also drops the fang and shard.
I literally had to keep fighting him until he did this, because my set up had no DPS on him whatsoever
That was how I killed it the first time.
my first try against him, I died horribly, but the very second time I fought this thing, the very first roll killed him.
like, 10 seconds in.
Fun fact about the Master Carpenter: he makes a demon lord the first time he builds something no matter what, but if you dont attack him at all during his building animation, he makes a chest with an imbrued bone,which is necessary for upgrading chisel barrage. I recommend not using a familiar for this.

Chisel Barage is the highest dps directional shard in the game when maxed out, i highly recommend it
I was able to cheese the Carpenter boss staying on the left side and using “Cerulean Splash” at max power and level. Having “Words of Wisdom” helps to reduce the cost.

If you max Ruinous Rood, it gets 5x the size and travels the length of the screen. In NG+ you can one-shot every boss prior to 2nd Zangetsu with it.

Fully upgraded Ruinous Rood is Amazing though.
Carpenter has a really deceptive battle ground, you can actually stand on the table with the saw blade.
I don't know if it works on the other versions, but I have the game on switch and the Millionaire's bane took damage from welcome company during it's invincible stages, so that helped.
Knowing Koji Igarashi the secret room with the cat portrait and the five music boxes with the phantom lady that sits across from Miriam at the table most likely there is a hidden secret in that room possibly it's a puzzle of some sorts.
If you know Koji, you would think that there is nothing else in that room. Remember the confession booth in Symphony of the Night?

Chisel Barrage is amazing when you fully upgrade it
I was wondering when someone would tell him, Chisel Barrage is an Eraser, don't use it if you want to play the game.
Another repayable boss fight is the 2nd cart on the Train. It appears if you interact twice with the seat. And it's a tough fight.
The last skill you get can if you enhance become freakin big. Its like a ultra mega shuriken of doom xD
I just did the first two today and what happened to me was slightly different. I don't know if I did something wrong but 1) when I killed the Carpenter he disappeared and a green chest appeared in the room (I don't remember what was in it) and 2) the Millionaire's room boss never did the slot machine attack, it just jumped around (and I did it several times while farming for the fang, it never did the slot machine attack).
You can easily beat the Carpenter by using invert shard and jump attacking him a great sword from the ceiling and it lets you focus on the demon lords when they’re summoned, also it make it difficult for him to throw things at you.
This strategy actually works for a long list of enemies, including bosses throughout the game. It sorta seems like the developers may not have fully considered how much this ability would impact combat.
For the Millionaires Bane, just invert gravity when he summons bombs, easy dodge every time.
chisel barrage is the crissagrim. Rank 9, and high INT, it's just hideous.
What gear and shards do you have equipped, cuz I’ve been struggling a bit with these bosses (or maybe I should actually dodge their attacks instead of tanking through the damage when I clearly can’t.)

Absolutely. The monstrous slot machine, the portrait of the asian looking guy (probably roughly modeled after a Konami executive but with giant shades to disguise him). The fact that it's called "millionaires room" in the first place. Fantastic jab at Konami.

if you use invert and fight the master carpenter from the ceiling it is much easier. he does not seem to be able to through his chisles straight up
or if you have the crissaegrim like sword plus blood steal.
The bosses at first they may seem hard but they are super easy, especially the carpenter and the jackpot. The carpenter is particularly easy, perhaps the easiest of all of them.
Just invert in the carpenters room and that fight becomes trivial.
About the slot machine, there is a ring, tham imporves your gambling chances as well.
I got my luck up past 90 with those on and he jackpots almost a third of the time.

About the carpenter, if you don't attack him while he crafts during the fight then he'll make a chest for you to loot.
I hope more is planned for this game I really enjoyed it . I just beat it and my map said 99.60 so I'm a little fuzzy on the little bit I missed but I want more reasons to come back to the game .very fun very good
Probably missed the 8-bit dungeon. You have to go in there once to count some progression even though it doesn't show up on the map. Also, try to go into every single room the map can cover. If you have any missing parts, invert around those areas, useful. Did anyone else find the Valkyrie Sword hidden inside the Tower of Twin Dragons? Its in the room just before fighting the boss, you gotta have the Distortion shard to get it.

I got to the millionaire's room today and find out some interesting things. Firstly, if the boss randomly get 7 7 7 you win and he dies with tons of 100g coins. Secondly, if u cast the machine in this room, all results will trigger the room weapons against the boss, except if it results in 7 7 7, it will act like the boss throwing tons of 100g coins but boss lives. And finally, after you beat this boss, the door will stay open next time and u can use it as a safe area but with invert and a great sword that can reach the boss in the corner. You can spell machines while hitting him from this part of the room and win lots of money repeating the process. It affects a ring the increase power with wealth but not too much. Just for fun.
You can ultimate cheese the master carpenter by inverting and fighting him upside down and do double jump attack repeat, he can never reach you hahaha

I thought I'd share about Millionaire's bane since I DID take the time to beat it enough times to get it to grade 9 (and rank 9).....it is actually pretty useful because the atks are very dmging and all AoE HOWEVER if u use it in the room with Millionaire's Bane than it will activate whatever would also happen if the boss hit it so if u get bells it spawns the cannon atk although from what I've seen if u do this it seems to cancel out the bad atk and only do ur atk...if u get watermelons it will also spawn the red bombs and these are still hostile for u so u need to smack em away...if u get 3 bars or 7's u'll get coins (obviously 7's give more) HOWEVER if when facing the boss the boss rolls 777 than its an automatic win for u (seriously even if its only the start of the fight) u get a ton of coins and the boss will also automatically drop both an item and its shard......if the boss rolls 3 cherries (I've never gotten this sadly don't think u can) than it will spawn a portal and a Lili will come out (that bunny girl enemy that u fight in the train station and also drops the really fun ability) and will fight u ......if 3 Circles come up.....well it just rerolls I don't know if its suppose to do anything HOWEVER I've noticed that if it rolls those circles multiple times in a fight than its more likely that it will hit a jackpot......FYI I think the Jackpot ability is neat and great because it basically lets u drop a random atk and walk or run away which is great against slow enemies like the Abyssal dragon and as u raise the grade and rank the success chance goes up to where usually have a 80-90% of hitting something ......also to me its reminds me of the slot monsters from Dragon Quest but not sure if Iga had any involvement with those games

The Carpenter can't hit you if you fight him from the ceiling. Just use invert.
You can get the carpenter key way earlier then demonstrated in this video. You don't need invert, but you will need reflector ray and double jump. So ... FYI. Hope this helps. Great game and thanks for your video.
Also I have no idea where I got the millionaires key, most definitely (again) not as demonstrated in this video, but I do have access to the room and I remember earlier in the game I didnt. So this video seems to be very different from my experience. I wonder maybe because I'm playing as normal difficulty level for my first go around. Do things and locations change as you play more difficult play through ? Is it a Japanese version? I have no idea.
That's what I was just thinking. I've been farming exp and gold fro. The millionaires room for a bit and just now got to the Behemoth area, havent even explored it yet

Carpenter can be Cheesed super easy, he cant hit you when your kneeling besides if he walks into you.
Carpenter’s key Ford not require invert, atleast if you know how to jumpkick.
Had that item for the entire game and was super annoyed haha.
You can get the carpenter with the beur familiar by doing a triple Jump using beur then jump off the demons head

I made a mistake when fighting Millionaire's Bane. I was so focused on defeating the boss that I didn't pick up as much money.
What? And here I thought I cleared most of the map (didn't look at the percentage recently), but it seems I'm still missing areas.
Didn't watch the entire thing, but one is obviously the final area. Haven't figured out yet, how to get to it and see the real ending.
Well, I will try to figure this out on my own for now, but I wanted to see were the remaining keys might be. Only found carpenters so far and just beat him

And also the quest to kill the revenant is "Revenge the Richters" it cant get more obvious

Once you get the invert ability pretty much every boss is a joke all you have to do is run around the ceiling and you can avoid most of their attacks

People think it may just be a kickstarter backer room dedicated to his cat that passed away, there was a very high end backer tier for personal ingame room.

Now the speculation has switched to when the next two playable characters are added will they make it something then.
I recall a similar thing in Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, a room with just a giant part of a playable piano. If its anything like that, then its not gonna do anything at all, just for fun.

You can do this indefinitely for mad cash drops. Also, there's a ring you can equip that ups your cash drops. Super useful for saving up money.

I have finally gotten the happy ending and have been working all day to try and finish the map getting it to 99.9% with NOTHING else I can see missing.

I do like the game very much. quality is not the same of course as Symphony... I don't feel the music in bloodstained as strong as SON. But then again that would cost a lot more so I do get it. But none of the OST in Bloodstained really sticks out. It's a fun game, but nothing to remember after 10 years. While SON sticks

kdhanimesan plenty of castlevania games have those kinds of things. Like the peeping eye from outside the castle windows in Aria of Sorrow. Pretty sure it is just there for atmosphere.

You need aegis armor. You get it in the twin dragon's tower by using invert

After you've got Zangetsu's sword, go fight Gebel again. Stall the fight and then cut the red moon with his sword when it appears. It'll take a while to appear though. And you might have to damage Gebel a bit.
Afterwards, search the Garden area for a room with a red moon. Cut it and proceed.
@@Nicarand The amount of damage Gebel takes to make the moon turn red and the amount to kill him are wicked close... I accidentally murdered him twice before I got the slash on the moon =P
I like your vid. But I go straight at the enemy with the shadow tracers and pound them to death. It normally takes me about atleast than 30 seconds with about maybe 900 using eternal blue and the Schmoo Book FAMILIAR eqquiped. The Money boss in the last stage gives problems unless you are broke. Please make a video showing how it is done. I don't make vids. You have too power up the great sword attack shard and the other one that gives attack power to all, have the Schmoo book power all the way lebel 9 and level 9 and whatever the experience. The shadow tracers have to be position in a way that multiply the hits along with Miriam's. You can do this to all others.

Why is your attack power so low? I have no where near as much map covered as you and my attack power is 212
Don't attack the carpenter while he builds and he may build a chest you can open with an imbued bone
He drops imbued bones. He summons Demon Lords when he creates those chests.
@@lukelafontaine69 and sometimes if you dont attack during his build I swear to you he makes a different looking chest that can be opened at any time during the fight for an imbrued bone. Done it many times dude.
@@noone-ze9gg Cool, have to take a look at that more closely. Being that I have yet to fight O.D. I'll try it out. Can you get some imbrued skulls this way? I know fighting Revenant does. Love the reference to a certain whip-wielding hero too. XD
Only bones as far as I know.
@@noone-ze9gg Actually all of the locked door bosses each give you a respectively different Imbrued item. Revenant drops a Skull, Millionaire's Bane drops the Fang, and the Master Carpenter drops the Bone. Planning on building the Eternal Blue greatsword. :)

i guess my game was fucked up! i was able to get the key and fight the slot machine boss(twice) without ever going where you are saying. i didn't even start the underwater or desert parts.
Loving this game but after i found Flying edge and upgraded Flame cannon shard to the limiti its easy as solitaire. Its almost feel like i am cheating :(
I had forged the katana, The Grand Izayoi and murdered the last two bosses with ease. Every boss after I obtained it was just easy. The only fight I still have difficulty with is demon 44.
Which one is the best familiar?
The knight. Plus you find several shards accross the game. I almost maxed him up. Second best is the fairy, her potions heal you for 250 hp (way better that your own potions)
