Omg ! your apartment has turned so beautiful, your taste in plants is unique among plant's UA-camrs, you don't specially have those fancy big leaves rare anthurium but I prefer your range of plants and the way your are doing those associations ..... it is not easy to find the disposition of the furniture in such a long narrow room but your place is fantastic now !

Wow has it been five months already? I haven't visited your channel in a while. The place looks amazing. It's too bad there's so many issues. You don't know what it will be like to live somewhere till you live there! I am a dyed-in-the-wool country person but I really like those city industrial type spaces like what you have. The tall ceilings, the multi use great room and the light. Very nice.
So sorry that you have had issues with your apartment. Despite them, you have made it a beautiful home for yourself and the lovely Miss Muffin.

I really like your apartment and I think you've styled it well.
We spend hardly any time in the bathroom anyway and the other rooms more than make up for it. The light is great (so important for plants, obvs) and it has some great nooks for your cat.
Thanks for the tour - oh, and I used your IKEA toothbrush holder hack. I stuck it to the window then cut a plastic bottle to size, filled it with water, then put a spider plant cutting in to propagate. It looks great and using a plastic bottle means it isn't too heavy. I prefer using it this way instead of putting soil in it. x

It’s so interesting to see how others decorate a smaller apt., you tied this space together beautifully, and made a place that looks comfy and lovely to come home to. 🤗 Tension rods are great for apts, I hung one over my dark sink to hold a small LED light and small hanging plants on the sides….Nick, you can make any place you live wonderful! 🪴🌿🌱🐈⬛

Thank you! Some of the problems are unfortunately not fixable - I feel bad for whoever will end up here in the future, nothing I can really do to steer them away, but it ain’t gonna be me!

Your place may not be my style but it looks just right for you, lovely finds and a lovely home that feels like an embrace when you walk in. Just do you - don't worry too much about how you think others may perceive you. We all get judgey from time to time but in the end, it is your life and your home - you are the ruling queen of your abode! Enjoy your life, your creativity and all your favorite things and obsessions - it's all good and nobody's business but your own.

I like the plants and the mirrors. I think the layout with the furniture too---it feels like a cozy coffee house.
depending on the weight of what your hanging you can use drywall hooks. They support the screw basically so the drywall can hold more. I mounted a shelf that holds a 5 gal fish tank for example all in just drywall, and one wood brace I made ontop of the wall. You just get a sheet of wood 1-2inch thick and mount that first, paint it to make it look nice or put wall paper for a easy design then mount what you want into the wood, the wood is mounted into both drywall and a wooden stud on either side.

I have a Wayfair home too. Your apartment came out so fantastic. I’ve not enjoyed poorly managed rentals in the past no matter their elegance but now I’m hoping that’s not stopping you from enjoying what is a beautifully appointed home. You effing nailed it.

Nick, love the apartment! I feel your pain with the concrete walls...that's what we had to deal with in our last apartment. Then, when we first moved into our home, I discovered our walls are sheetrock...so we have to anchor each piece we hang. Can we all just have regular drywall?? 🤣🤣🤣

Love it so much. I’ve always wanted a space like that. I love the industrial aspects and that amazing ceiling. Can’t complain though - I have a 700sqft cottage on LI with winter+ water views facing North..Which turns my North facing windows into an incredible space for plants!
Great space (mainly because of the plants).I bet it looks great at night with ambient lighting. Too bad the maintenance issues are forcing you out. Apartments with character are hard to come by.

They just don’t match my furniture the way they used to, but they have really served their purpose! I’m a little too hateful towards them at this point for all they have done for me 😅😅
