What's the Circumference on the Beanie? This is almost like the Basic Beanie that I make. But I use #4 yarn and H hook R5 (total 50) R6 (total 60). R7 to R14 DC in each keeping my 60. R15 SC. Circumference around 20".

This one has a circumference of 21 inches. The Medium is 20. The chunky yarn helps with fewer stitches. I’ll have to try your pattern.
